1. Macam mana nak cakap ya? Mudahnya it's good but not great or excellent. Here's why:

5. Secara kesuluruhan, Whatever You Say I Am/I'm OK oleh Anwar Hadi ni sesuai kita letak sebagai bacaan santai.

2015, tahun tu aku intern dan berpeluang jaga cashier dkt PBAKL. Booth sebelah, ada Rabak Lit. EXCITED WEY. Nanti boleh minta autograf penulis. So bila aku check hari Anwar Hadi datang tu, memang ngam la sebab aku bertugas pada hari yang sama. Masa nak minta autograf, aku tanya la.

"So, lepasni boleh la #UnfollowAnwarHadi?"

Dulu hashtag tu trending wey kat Twitter 🤭

Lepas habis baca buku ni pada tahun 2025, rasa menyesal sebab lambat sangat amek masa untuk baca. Ada 2 bahagian fiksyen dan non fiksyen. Dua dua aku suka 😭

Antara side non fiksyen yang best, thank you teacher, ferry moment, Steve Job's speech n kenduri thoughts.

Kalau side fiksyen, boleh kata semua story aku suka! Plot unik di luar kotak. Ada yang sedih macam cerita Dark Chocolate Cake, Salty Coffee, Not His Fault 😭😭😭. Milk and Cat Food, That's What You Get n Cafe Back Alley seram 😵‍💫. Cerita Understand menginsafkan. A Friend Made, faith in humanity restored. Learned new thing from Two Hijab-clad Women. Humans of Humanity is heartbreaking. Man Purse, brutal. Now imagine old man giving old woman piggy back ride. Both malay with blue eyes and big grin. Masa aku baca scene dalam cerita One Night in Ramadhan tu rasa scary betul. Kisah cinta dalam By The Water sweet amat!

Harap harap selepas 10 tahun, Anwar Hadi tulis buku lagi hehe.

aku tak kenal sangat dengan anwar hadi ni, siapa dia. cemana femes and segala bagai tu. tahu pun sebab ada sorang kawan ni suka sangat duk rt tweet dia. boleh dikatakan peminat jugak lah kut? ahaha. oh. aku tak berapa follow jugak matluthfi. (point petik nama matluthfi sebab ada orang ni cakap, dia lagi prefer matlutfi dari anwarhadi). aku dedua pun tak kenal *gelak awkward*

buku ni tak berapa ikut selera sangat. cerita yang tak menarik minat aku. tapi anwar hadi guna simple english and saya sangat berterima kasih. nasib baik cerita mudah paham. nasib baiklah cikgu. kalau engineer mampus aku tak paham.

fiction's fav: birthdays. relationships.

non fiction's fav: dark chocolate cake. humans of humanity. one night in ramadhan.

Overall lame.
The fiction portion particularly looks like the work of a high-schooler.
Empty stories with no substance.
Apparently, the author is a 'celebrity' of some sort. No surprise of getting published.

Buku ni banyak buat aku termenung. Sebab most chapter, aku boleh relate. Relate dengan apa?

Relate dengan kehidupan. Ada jugak chapter yang aku tak faham langsung, contoh part fiction chapter Blind Ferry. But still. Buku ni macam aku tengah baca diary orang tau. Harini cerita pasal apa, rasa apa. Aku lagi suka part non-fiction. Tapi part fiction buat aku banyak termenung dan berfikir.

Oh well, buku ni ada dua parts. Buku ni ada dua tajuk. Whatever You Say I am, consist of 23 non-fictions story, while I'm ok, consist of 21 fictions story.

Aku baca non-fiction dulu, baru fiction. So part last kat fiction. Aku terbaca ni and aku tak tau kenapa dia tinggalkan kesan kat hati aku.

"And their thoughts are so concentrated on achieving comfort in his life. It makes her wonder if they've made any preparations for the afterlife. After all, a lot of these people are her people, and share her religion. But whenever she gives the salam, it's very rare that anyone replies. That's what made the guy remain in her thought for a while. Not everyday."

Tentang kematian, relationship with Alquran, kepada siapa yang patut kita ucapkan terima kasih when its our birthday, our achievements, and etc. every chapter, when we read it, it make us to think, think and think. Thats good effort to teach some reader to think. I cant move on with Thank You Teacher, Ask Yourself, Birthdays, Relationships, I Am Man, more and more! Well done! I like your book. I mean i really really like it. your first book its quite good. Looking forward to your next book. Kalau ada. :)

Aku duk ulang baca berkali-kali. Like seriously. It was really aspiring.
To Anwar Hadi, keep up the good work!

Lepaih baca non fiction aku teruih rasa nak rearrange my baca Al Quran and tafsir schedule. Aku suka cara dia relate everything he see or read to Allah. Yang bahagian fiction, bila sampai cerita last je aku terus terfikir, boleh tahan jiwang anwaq hadi ni. Ingatkan suka hashtag #unfollowanwarhadi dia tu je.

An honest writing (non-fiction part) and good story-line (fiction part) with unfinished ending that make me think whenever I finished reading every chapter. I can say it is comprehensively written as it touched many aspects of life -- be it Religion, family, friends and relationships, education and etc.
