This is a really engaging, thoughtful and impressively wide-ranging book that brings Bath’s hidden legacy vividly to life. From Mary Shelley and William Herschel to shorthand, Plasticine and the first farmers’ market, the author, a sixth-form student at King Edward's School, Bath, shows how deeply Bath has influenced literature, science, design and everyday life. The foreword is written by Sir James Dyson. All the more inspiring for having been created in support of charity.
