Lyra was supposed to spend spring break on a double-date cruise with her girlfriend. But now, she’s freshly single…and somehow roped into sharing a cabin with Brittni, her sister’s boyfriend’s cousin, so she won’t feel like a third wheel.
The problem?
Brittni is gorgeous, funny and ridiculously difficult to ignore.
What starts as an awkward situation quickly turns into late-night talks with undeniable chemistry and one moment that changes everything. Sometimes the best rebounds come with ocean views and a very unexpected roommate.

Lyra and Brittni were rooming together on a cruise after Lyra's girlfriend broke up with her. They were both instantly attracted to each other but things didn't really pop off until Lyra accidentally dropped her favorite sex toy in front of Brittni when the boat was rocking. This was a wonderful beginning of something. I really wish we could revisit these characters further into their relationship. But I really feel like this was a great short book. I enjoyed it a lot.
Oh I need the dinner party shenanigans. Lyra deserved this trip and more because girl it sounds like your ex was straight. I forgot it was a short because I was like wait I need more 🌶️ lmao but it’s enough for a short 🤭
This is a short story that I wanted more. I was invested in Lyra who got dumped right before the cruise, and Brittni who runs. I was wishing for an epilogue as I want to know how they’re doing.
Sweet, short and funny. This was a great palate cleanser and was a really good balance of sweet, sexy and chaotic. Felt a lot like all the wrong things happened to make way for the right things to.
3.5⭐️ Cute spring sapphic romance having a cruise ship fling. It was good, and I like how Karmen Lee’s characters are always honest and upfront about what they want, it just didn’t wow me.
