Um… where was the Maverick from Vows? He was not present in this book. This one was a bitch ass 🥷.

I understand he had trauma from his heartbreak with Blue, but I would’ve liked to see that actually worked through and a real turnaround happen, because Ice deserved better. There was nothing romantic about their story, even down to the proposal, which, as he said, was a business decision. We never got to see them fall in love. In fact, he spent the entire book still professing his love for Raven’s psychotic ass.

And what even happened to her? How much jail time did she get? Was she really pregnant? Was it his baby? There are way too many unanswered questions. And I’m irritated he didn’t kill Raven. She killed his unborn child. Since when do they call the cops? Especially with all the dirt she could have on him. Did he let her go to jail because he still loved her, or because she was allegedly carrying his child? He should’ve made her take a pregnancy test first.

And what was that ending? I’m assuming it was meant to show that Ice wasn’t second choice to Blue, but I didn’t like the execution. Can Ice have one untarnished happy moment?

Also, does this mean Blue and Lennox didn’t work out??

I’ve been on a Tiffany Grey binge, and I think this one was my least favorite.

hmmmm

Mav gave me such mixed feelings. I wish we got to see him show up for Ice the way he did for his exes. She literally did the least damage to him and had to pay so much. The ending where there was an objection is just another example of Ice having to put up with foolishness. I wish we got a closing chapter from Raven. The story was good but messing depth and him being the man from Vice & Vows.

Maverick had me tickled pink paying that homeless man to chase Icelynn with his dog LMAO! But Icelynn really pissed me off because you sitting here steady getting your rocks off with this man but was “waiting for the right time” to tell him you had his kids! I’m glad he got his happy ending because honey when Blue broke his heart I was crying so bad 😂

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 So Good

I read this novel twice in the space of 48hours. Why? I read it before reading Vow and I had to re read it to give Mav the fear chance he deserved!

This novel is everything! Brace yourself for the oh so good rollercoaster ride; it’s so worth it. Happy reading

Unhinged, be trailed and love.

This book was everything. Minus a few parts. Mav, Mav, Mav is truly unhinged and Ice is low key trying to show her craziness.
