This is the continuation in the Sabatelli Empire duet. We immediately continue from where we left off from Filthy Kiss. Book 1 in the duet.

Meggie has gone through hell and back. Won’t spoil just in case you haven’t read the first book. Here all the questions were answered plus more.

War was imminent in this read, a war that was never supposed to happen as handshakes were done and the marriage of a female to another mafia member holds value. Sadly, Bianca didn’t appreciate her choice and made decisions that affected many, including herself and her children. Bianca’s husband taking lack of appreciation of her, but why? Selling her off to the Bratva was his stupidness in bring forth a war that was stagnant.

More than just Bianca’s woes were presented here. The captivity of Amber, search & rescue, lives lost, selfish actions by some, it was all here.
Oh, and let’s not forget about the “Fish”

Meggie is a survivor, from a Kiss that wasn’t supposed to have happened, to having her life upended due to a power play by ?????. Won’t spoil the whom.

This was quite the read. The first read was the introduction. The second was the finalisation. Would I refer to as “dark” not sure. Was it volatile- Yes. Was it scorching - Yes. Was it a page turner - most definitely Yes.

Vivy Skys takes you through the world of the Mafia/Bratva with exceptional storylines. It is not all blood and guts. It is loyalty and respecting the women & children of the Mafia. Though at times the heart hurts, there is always someone who reaches within and opens the gates again.

Meggie & Amanda.

After reading the first one, I wasn’t a fan, but wanted to know how the story progressed. Honestly it wasn’t great for me. The first book they had damn near insta-love, which mind you for a duology should have been red flag #1……..

Anyhow, the first book the dragged its feet after that, but pacing was good enough to keep going. This book however…..what is the author thinking. The same thing keeps happening in a different font so to speak. To explain without spoilers you have the cabin thing to open the book up, then not much, LA guy, the a hairtie, the lady, the car, the capture, and a few other thing. ALL WHILE THE PLOT MOVES ONLY AN INCH. Which yes, there needs to be filler scenes in any entertainment piece (books, movies, shows, theater, ect.). HOWEVER, the scenes I listed were set up to be critical moments to progress the plot not filler! After the capture the plot moves and then guess what, ITS STALLS AGAIN.

Also the whole side stuff with the one sibling makes no sense and feels thrown in to add to the mafia part of the story. In all honestly, I can’t attest to that with full confidence because I didn’t finish the book/get far enough for the pieces to align. I have no clue if they get amber back or not! (I mean I’m pretty sure cause why wouldn’t they, but who knows if this is a Veronica Roth situation. Shoutout to a great YA author!)

Filthy Sins was the dramatic conclusion of the Sabatelli Empire duet about Giovanni “Gio” Sabatelli, a mafia don and Megan “Meggie” Walsh, a bakery worker that had dedicated her life to protecting her now 5-year-old sister Amber from Amber’s evil father, and thus Meg’s stepfather, Steve “The Fish” Barone. The fated kiss between Gio and Meggie in Filthy Kiss was the beginning of this fantastic story. Gio was totally enthralled with Meg and vowed to protect her and Amber. Filthy Sins picked up with the abduction of Megan and Amber and Gio’s desperate attempts to get them back.

I liked the twists, the setbacks, and the imperfect plans, when Gio wasn’t able to completely control the narrative, because it showed that he was human. The author did an excellent job writing about the emotional swings that Meggie and Gio went through. I liked the ultimate showdown and conclusion. Overall, I enjoyed this explicit, dark, intense, and complicated suspense story full of family drama, angst, tension, revenge, mistrust, perceived betrayal, and secrets. I would recommend this book for those readers interested in well-written, mafia romance stories.

The Importance of Love, Trust, Loyalty and Family -
Megan and Giovanni found themselves in book two struggling to find the balance between their relationship, the psychological warfare, the threats made against their lives, as well as having to navigate the obstacles placed in their path to building the life they wanted. Megan may have been living a simple life before meeting Giovanni, but she found out that being with him gave her the strength she needed to fight for what she wanted.

OMG! I thought One Filthy Kiss was a truly exceptional read, so I didn’t expect this book to exceed my expectations, but I can say without a shadow of doubt that I was wrong, as this book took me on one heck of a rollercoaster ride, where my heart was beating out of sync with each page turn as the story unfolded. I recommend you read book two immediately after book one and make sure you won’t be interrupted, as you won’t be able to stop reading once you start.

Megan and Giovanni part 2

The plot in this one is more chaotic and convoluted than book 1. Megan makes more dumb decisions and is even more impulsive than ever. She puts her life and others at risk. Her angst and anxiety is through the roof. And Giovanni keeps losing control of his empire. He doesn’t know who he can trust. There’s lots of angst, fear, violence, betrayal in this one. It’s a rollercoaster of chaos. The plot is all over the place. Characters appear and disappear with very little backstory or explanation what’s going on with them.

I’ll admit that I had to skim over much of the chapters with Megan’s POV. I just couldn’t handle any more of her stupid decisions. Really a horrible FMC.

There’s no real 3rd act breakup but Megan and Giovanni separate for a period of time so he could get control of his siblings and Megan is free to make her bad decisions. Long held secrets are finally revealed. They get an HEA or something like it.

More Shocking Revelations and a Wonderful Ending
The final book of the Sabatelli Empire duet continues the high octane, non-stop action and heat. Following the dramatic cliffhanger of “One Filthy Kiss”, the story continues with even more secrets, danger, and spice. Geo’s true dangerous, dominant, and possessive traits are emphasized, and it is evident that he will stop at nothing to protect Megan.
‍🔥 Obsessed Mafia Don
✨ Danger and Tension.
💀 Dark with Secrets
❤️ Wonderful Happy Ending
If you love a brave, strong-willed heroine and a gorgeous hero who will do anything to protect the woman he loves, then you will enjoy this book. Like book 1, it is a mix of fun, steamy, dangerous and romantic. At times it is quite dark and unsettling, but I absolutely loved it. Filthy Sins is book 2 in The Sabatelli Empire series and we're back with Giovanni and Meggie. Their journey just kicked up a couple of notches! This story picks up where One Filthy Kiss leaves off and it's even more intense than OFK was. That dang Bianca, there's no punishment that's ever enough for her and I can think of plenty. Megan discovers she's much stronger than she believes and proves to be a powerhouse alongside Gio. This author has brought us a fantastic, well written story and has wrapped it up beautifully!

Ugh. I hate it when book 2 is a flop. It was okay, I did finish it. Though I did skim a bit. Nothing flowed right. Megan was a moron. Gio and his supposedly highly trained guards were morons. I just felt every one was so stupid that it just didn't make sense. On top of that, everything took so long to happen, at the same time so many important topics were skimmed over, it gave me whiplash. Not worth the read. If only book 1 added 50-100 pages , it would have been a solid single book HEA.

This is Book 2 of The Sabatelli Empire and it hit every emotion, every feel, everything!!! The protector hero who has lost his love due to kidnapping, the hero on the hunt driven by revenge!!! Chef's kiss!!! Such a great arrangement of emotions, from top notch drama, to forlorn angst, anger, and most of all love! Dark mafia romance in its finest form!!! Loved this duet so much!!!!.

His fortress has been penetrated; trusts are broken and the woman he loves along with her sister and his friend gone. Now he is on the war path and enemies be dammed! This story is emotional, filled with suspense and a man trying to fight his way back to his woman's heart. Meggie and Gio had me glued to this one from start to finish.

Drama and danger is the main theme of this book.

Megan and Giovanni are getting closer but danger is closing in real fast and Giovanni realises what's at stake.

This part took my breath away at times. Fast paced and the suspense is ramped up significantly.

So well written. I really enjoyed this duet and this author is getting added to my favourites list. Can't wait for more.

"Filthy Sins" - book two of "The Sabatelli Empire, picks up right where "One Filthy Kiss", book one left off. If you haven't read book one, please go back and do so or else the plot will be to convoluted to follow. Gio rescues Megan from the mountain cabin, but Amber is still missing. To make matters worse, Bianca appears to have been taken by the Bratva. Will Gio be able to save his family or will everything go up in flames?

This is the continuation of Gio and Meggie's story.
The plot is very complex with plenty of twists and surprises.
I was moved by Meggie's fear for her sister Amber.
She and Gio's passion was compelling.
I enjoyed Demi's role in the story and her bolstering of Meggie's confidence.
This is a very worthwhile read which was impeccably executed.

This is the second book in a duet The Sabatelli Empire. This book gives all the answers you seek from the first book. Meggie and Amber are in constant danger. I had trouble putting it down. I did not quite like the way it ended without the queen getting her just desserts. In true mafia books the queen would have to pay for her crimes. I recommend this book to all dark mafia romance readers.

Long but good storyline

I ended up skipping a lot to get to the good parts, the rescue took way too long and not enough of the happy together afterwards. But very good storyline. I prefer stories finishing in one book which is part of my angst with duet books that take too long especially with pages of their inner dialogue. Take that out and you still have an awesome story and good writing.

Gio created a fortress to keep Meggie and her sister safe, only his enemies got in, and Meggies trust broke with it. Now Gios got to battle his way back to her, and prove he can protect her once more or is it too late? Well written the story and characters draw you in with suspense, steamy tensions, desires and more.

Wow if you thought book one was rollercoaster and the conclusion beets it by a mile and I absolutely loved one filthy kiss.
Megan sat in a chair with a bomb strapped to is not what Giovanni expected to see.
That's only the start of trying to find out where Amber has been taken by her abusive father.
Your heart will be in your mouth all the while you are reading how this story plays out.

Searching

This captivating conclusion to Giovanni and Megan’s story started right from the moment book one ended. Megan is injured and her sister has been taken. There is something bigger at play that kept me turning the pages and I could not put it down. It was truly an entertaining read.

very good

I really enjoyed both books and it was nice to read something different from the usual mafia books. Good story line which kept you engaged and turning pages. The FMC got on my nerves at times but the author brought it back. I’m going to stop here though as I often find books brought out for other characters have more or less the same story.

This is part 2 of Gio and Megan's story. If you thought the first one was good you haven't seen anything yet. Staying ahead of the other Don's and her step-dad is challenging but where there's a will there's a way. Going to read both parts together again.

such a good series

I loved the characters in this book. My only issue with is it the FMC is too forgiving. Idc how long we been friends, if you sell me out to the point that my lil sister is kidnapped?? You’re dead to me.
Other than that, I loved the first book and this book. I love the characters chemistry and I loved the suspense! So good!
