Delightful. I learned a lot I'd never known before. More about the man than the art - but his life did influence his art so there you go. Reproductions well done, bright & clear. Cute story of the child who studies the man.

I got lucky to find this one at a Friends of the Library sale. Some are scanned for the archives at openlibrary.org but a scan would not have done this justice.

If your library has any 'Art for Children' in this series, check them out now to make sure they don't get weeded!
