the story has devolved into just porn, straight (pun intended) up porn

This manga isn't about how Shirotani overcome his phobia thanks to Kurose and fall in love, it's about how Shirotani overcome his phobia thanks to having sex with Kurose (and fall in love, yeah). This has been something very present since the first volume, but in the third one it's the only matter.

And not to forget there is a serious consent problem in yaoi manga, I know I know, it's to be expected but it still bugs me immensely. And when the story is chucked out the window to make way for it, the problem intensifies. Shirotani being unable to actually touch anything without being repulsed is conveniently forgotten when sexually assault happens.

plus it started out really interesting but Then it went downhill from there... The relationship between main characters could be so much better. Instead, the author just made a huge mess halfway through the story. Really. It started as really heartwarming and interesting story. Then it became porn
I really wish that characters would be more fleshed out too.. Shirotani is your typical uke, just blushing and being submissive. I really doubt a real person would act like he did. I really wish he'd stand his ground. Instead the fact that he was raped was portrayed as very romantic.

and i don't think much is going to happen in upcoming volumes so lets just get through it!

Actually, no. This isn't consent. Shirotan keeps saying no, and Kurose keeps pushing, and /being aroused doesn't mean saying yes/.

Whoops, we went from sort of promising to straight up sexual assault of a severely mentally ill person. Gross.

Reseña del manga completo: En general me ha gustado mucho el dibujo y la historia -Kurose es too much-, pero no he entendido ese final.

And the story is getting hot messed up and I need the next volume.

Enjoyed this a lot more than volume 2.

We get a good bit more development with our character's relationship here. And of course it's yaoi so there's the smut too, which was great.

We get a little flashback from Shirotani's youth, which shows us a bit of the trauma that has caused his severe OCD.

4/5 estrellas.

Wow, this is just getting better and better.

∘₊✧─── POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD!! ───✧₊∘

I am truly loving the way we get just a little bit more backstory for Shirotani and Kurose in every volume. It completely changes your perception of both the characters individually as well as their relationship as a whole. This is where we start to realize that Shirotani's disgust is most likely pointed more inward than outward. His mind is touch-averse but his body is touch-starved and both of those things existing simultaneously is a fascinating collision - one that Shirotani really struggles with because his natural reactions conflict with his perception of himself and just, like - MY SWEET ANGEL BOY, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

Clearly, as a clinical psychologist, Kurose most likely sees this. He may not completely understand Shirotani's reasoning for it or what caused the original trauma, but he's actually fairly adept at reading his reactions and gauging what he thinks Shirotani can handle and what he can't. He's reading between the lines to identify Shirotani's needs - it's actually really sweet. Nothing that he's doing is sending Shirotani into a deep dark shame spiral of doom; he challenges Shirotani's perceptions without hurting him. And like, yeah, his actions can absolutely be perceived as being selfish and non-con but it works for them.

This went from guy romance to abusive actions on a passive person with OCD. This issue is x-rated. No means no. This psych consuler never tried to find out in any detail the cause for the OCD. Could be related to childhood sex issues?!?!?

Volume 3 turned out to be rather uncomfortable. I'm feeling bad for Shirotani and Kurose seemed to have become some sort of abusive bully...

So far this one is my least favourite episode in the story.

Keeps being extremely graphic.
At this point I kind of want more fluff and the relationship to be verbalized.
For what I know I’m currently at the middle of the series so I foresee completing it soon

maybe being generous with the 3 stars now. this is just porn. 😂

and not even like ~good porn, but dubcon/noncon dressed as romantic.

it’s shirotani literally saying “no means no” and kurose carrying forward anyways

it’s kurose asking if your mind is saying no, why is your body saying yes? 😅

it’s all the sort of things that lends to yaoi’s bad reputation

i still like looking at kurose tho. i just don’t know where other people are looking when they call him a green flag

Damn, Kurose isn't messing around! I cannot believe this dude pulls out a freaking butt plug 🤣. I literally burst out laughing, I just KNEW Shirotani would shoot down anything having to do with that. But, I guess he's a better sub than I thought cause he agreed to at least try.

Their relationship is becoming increasingly sexual and it probably seems like they're doing more than they are. Shirotani mentions that they usually meet up every weekend and I'm pretty sure that the majority of their visits don't end up in bed. Kurose isn't trying to scare him so I'm sure he's taking his time. Him getting jealous about the hair thing was actually pretty sexy, lol.

I'm enjoying this series more and more with each volume and I'm dying to find out what happens next.

I went on a binge and read volumes 2-5 all at once so I'm rating these 4 volumes as a whole.
This series is very problematic. Shirotani is forced into doing things after saying "stop" or "no" on multiple occasions. While sure, maybe he eventually wanted Kurose to do things to him...it didn't start out that way. While this series has its issues, it's pretty fast paced and an easy read. I wanted to know what happened next, mainly because I hoped the storyline would change for the better...but so far, it has not.

I'm officially giving up on this series. The handling of OCD has gone from not great to terrible, everything is just unrealistically porny, and that is NOT how BDSM should work at all. Noping right on out of here....

During an outing with his former therapist, our OCD suffering protagonist wonders whether he is on a date or undergoing therapy. That the outing is bookended by intense and graphic erotic encounters (gay porn for short) might be a clue...
