I normally do not read zombie, post apocalyptic books. I did, however, enjoy this one!
Violet and Rosalie are two sisters sticking together after the world has fallen apart, and biters are everywhere. One day they happen upon a group of survivors being lead by a man named Jax. Eventually, Jax invites and incorporates Violet and Rosalie into the community of survivors they are from. Jax and Violet share an enemies to lovers attraction. Will it work out? Upon returning to the city to get supplies Jax and Violet’s group meets another survivor group, and there is charged challenge and tension in the air. Will both groups of survivors… survive each other?
I am definitely following this up with book 2! I need to know what happens next! If you can’t stand cliffhangers, this may not be the book for you. The author does state that this book contains possible grammatical and/or other errors. If you can read it without over analyzing, you will enjoy it as well!

Gripping and intense
I started reading this and couldn't put it down, it holds your attention in so many ways and it leaves you wanting more!
Incredibly written and thoroughly enjoyed.
This is one author you are going to have to watch, or read in this case. King, Spielberg, Stein, Pullman, she can write with the best!

Finishing this book has broken my heart! This was the most refreshing phenomenal dark romance out there!
I could not stop smiling and then crying! Kay is unbelievably talented in what she does. Please read this book and find out for yourself!!
