About the author

Hayleigh Huntley

2 books8 followers
Hayleigh spends most of her time working with young children in early childhood, only to then come home to her own two children, husband, three cats and dog. A very, VERY busy household she lives in.

When she is not running like a crazy mad woman for work or her family, she spends her time reading and writing, mixed in with chaotic hyping up of other authors and bookish people alike. Living within Saskatchewan, Canada has made her learn to appreciate all the little things you can manage to do while living on the prairies.

Fun facts about her are: she has only old lady hobbies besides book related things, such as crocheting. She HATES the cold, if there's even a speck of snow on the ground she is bundling up in all her winter gear. And, she will always choose coffee in any form over water. Any day!

8 star rating from me - 10 star rating For the whole Duology.

Book 2 in The Undead Duology (although I will convince her to do more 🤣👀😝)

Book 2 is everything I NEEDED AND MORE. The love I have for this duology is just..UGH.. no words.
Where Book 1 ended on a cliffhanger making you want to rage at Hayleigh (and believe me I did, she can confirm), Hayleigh makes up for it in book 2, by a landslide.

We go from an exclusive relationship between the fmc and mmc from book 1, to a why choose 3 way relationship and fuck me sideways, I am Jealous of the FMC Meaghan, and I am NOT ashamed to admit it.

Hayleigh had me every emotion (and no that isnt an over exaggeration). I went from, omg and crying, to omg who the fuck do you think you are, to omg no not ******** (no spoilers). I was happy, sad, an emotional anxious wrecking ball of snot and tears, all from the pages of this book. The emotions came ten fold, harder than book 1.

I cannot recommend this Duology enough, seriously even ask my bookclub ladies. Its one of the book series/duology I'm ALWAYS raving about.

So if you do anything, read this duology in 2026. Hayleigh, you know I adore you lady. Congratulations on a well deserved book, i cant wait to see it soar.

I absolutely DEVOURED Euphoria. Just like Lyssalmaria, I was completely hooked and could not put it down. I’m pretty sure I need to see a doctor after reading this because the WHIPLASH was unreal. Hayleigh absolutely nailed it again.
Meaghan is the absolute badass we already knew she was, and watching her risk everything to go after Jesse after he leaves to save the human race? Insane. Then Hayden enters the picture and suddenly it turns into a why choose situation and I was living for it 🤣
Like Book 1, the Banter between the characters was PERFECT and added the perfect touch to the choas that was happening around them.
This book puts you through every possible emotion. Especially in the last 100 pages when everything intensified. The spice was definitely there and WOW... It was hot. 🥵
Between the jaw-dropping twists, emotional moments, and nonstop chaos, I couldn’t stop turning the pages.
And that ending??? Such a strong ending. I’m going to need Hayleigh to give us MORE because I am absolutely not ready for this Duology to be over 😭.

Book 2 of The Undead Duology

I really enjoyed this book! This Duet being my first apocalypse style stories I was a little unsure. But Hayleigh smashed it out the bag!! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try it out, or even if this is their go to Genre.

Meaghan - A strong FMC who has gone through so much shit on her own, to finally have a partner who she trusts just for him to leave her to try save the human race. She will do anything to find him when he is in trouble, even if it means leaving safety and being on her own.

Hayden - Military MMC has to always be in charge, doesn't feel anything. Until Hummingbird comes crashing into his life, or should I say him crashing into her (physically). He will keep her safe even if it means he is helping her find The other guy she loves.

Jesse - The immune MMC who left his Princess to save the human race, but didn't contact her left her on her own. Then she had to risk everything to come look for him. Now he has to deal with Hayden being another man in Meaghans life.

Can the three of them work together? Or will one kill the other?

Also we need a side story on Finley please and thank you.

This book does contain Triggers so make sure you read them. Your Mental Health Matters 💋

It starts a slow burn with yearning, then when all hope is lost at finding her lost love he resurfaces and things get complicated. One would save the world for her while the other would burn it all down just to keep her safe. The love triangle has it’s tribulations, but that old saying “love conquers all” applies here!
Genuinely sad the book is over even though it’s a happy ending!
