From Top 30 Amazon and USA Today Bestselling Author Jennifer Sucevic comes a steamy, pro hockey romance featuring a one-night stand, surprise pregnancy, forced proximity, and a hero who falls first and harder than he ever expected.
I thought I had Oliver Van Doren all figured out.
The Railers’ star forward with the charm of a devil, the discipline of a toddler, and a talent for creating messes I always get stuck cleaning up. We’re barely friends and definitely better off pretending the sexual tension humming between us isn’t combustible.
It’s the only explanation for how one moment of weakness turns into a night I can’t forget.
And the worst part? I can’t stop.
It’s too damn good.
Two pink lines change everything.
Suddenly I’m living with the one man who knows exactly how to get under my skin. Only Oliver isn’t who I thought he was. He’s patient. Attentive. Protective. And somehow, day by day, he makes it impossible to pretend he’s not everything I’ve been too terrified to want.
Now I can’t help wondering if what started as a mistake…Might just be the beginning of forever.
Show Me Forever is a swoony, boy-obsessed, enemies-to-lovers pro hockey romance packed with off-limits workplace tension, a one-night stand, a surprise pregnancy, and a hero who was all in from page one. It’s book three in the Chicago Railers series and can be read as a standalone.

If you have been following my Chicago Railers Hockey audio journey then you already know what I am going to say. Crack. This series is crack. I can’t stop won’t stop. But unfortunately I have to because I need to wait for Laiken and Kia’s story! The blasphemy. No but seriously, I don’t know what Jennifer has put in this series but I’m low key obsessed. It’s been served to me on a silver platter and I’ve licked that platter clean. There isn’t a crumb in sight.
Since I devoured the first three books in this series in a matter of days, I can confidently say this: Hands down this is my favorite in the series. It's my favorite for several reasons, one of which being the main trope of this book which is accidental pregnancy. If there is one thing you should know about me, it's that I’m a hoe for accidental pregnancy so the fact alone, that makes it a no brainer that I loved this one. But beyond that, I loved Oliver and Rina.
We got so many easter eggs for Oliver and Rina's relationship in the first two books, I was already feral for this book. And it lived up to all of my expectations. I loved Rina so much. I saw a lot of myself in her personality. She's so fierce and has this fierce black cat personality which I loved. She has this hard exterior but let's face it, she was weak for Oliver. Even if she wouldn't admit to herself. And Oliver?!?! I loved that fictional man so much! The man that he is! He's a walking green flag golden retriever who is down bad for his very off limits team PR manager. But you know what? He knows what he wants and he makes it obvious that who he wants is Rina. And he won't stop til she is his. The way he was with her made me truly melt. He's a reformed playboy who did all of the right things and it made me so weak.
Can you please just do me a favor? Add this series to your TBR please. I slept on this one and I'm upset no one influenced me to read so I wanna influence you because it's so good. And If you have the opportunity to, PLEASE listen to the audiobook. Because it is top tier! The audiobook is a Duet Narration by Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark. I'm already a little slooooot for Jason Clarke's voice. Like if it could, I would already be impregnated. And his growly narration was everything that I needed for Oliver. Chef's freaking kiss! Mollie Stark also did a fabulous job as Rina. I loved her calming voice.
You should read this book if you like: - Hockey Romance - Accidental Pregnancy - Forbidden - Workplace Romance - Secret Relationship - Close Proximity
I have been loving how obsessive the heroes this author has been writing are. They really lock in and become laser focused on winning over thr heroine. That is something I can get behind.
However, this heroine may fight a little longer than I wanted to see. It's a good thing that Oliver absolutely refuses to give up. He is adoring, caring, and supportive. He's also over the moon when then discover their accidental pregnancy. 🥰
I realize the heroine had trauma from her past, and Oliver is patience with her in a way I could never be. They are also up against a "no fraternization" clause, as she works for the hockey team he plays on. She does have quite a bit at stake.
Finally, the romance in the background between two side characters keeps drawing me in as well. I really want to know more!!!
Narrated in Duet by Mollie Stark & Jason Clarke
4 Stars 3.5 on the spice scale
*Thank you to Must Love Audio and the author for an ALC of this title.*
This book definitely starts with a bang, beginning with a one night stand that immediately pulls you into the story. If you love a hero who is completely down bad, a heroine determined to stay independent, and a forbidden relationship with plenty of tension, this one will absolutely catch your attention. The accidental pregnancy storyline also adds another layer that keeps things moving.
What kept me reading most was watching how their relationship developed once the story moved beyond that initial attraction. For a good portion of the first half, their chemistry felt very rooted in physical attraction, and I found myself wanting a little more emotional depth between them earlier on.
That said, once the characters began opening up and we got to know them better, the connection started to feel more believable and the relationship evolved in a way I appreciated. Overall, this was a solid read with enjoyable tropes, even if I wanted a little more emotional buildup from the start
Oliver Van Doren is a man who knows exactly what he wants. He is a man obsessed without a doubt is going to let absolutely nothing get in the way of him getting the girl. He is uncompromising in his pursuit of Rina.
While this is a reformed playboy accidental pregnancy romance, Oliver was also bit of a golden retriever underneath it all but I equally enjoyed his jealous moments.
Rina is a bit of a black cat fmc with a successful career in PR for the Chicago Railers, she is not only hesitant about dating athletes (and in particular hockey players) and being reliant on a man - she has also sworn up and down that she would never go for Oliver Van Doren.
The start of their romance leaned very heavy into the physical relationship, and the spice continued throughout, which can sometimes turn me a little bit off of books where its too much but I actually thought Jennifer did a really good job at balancing the extremely physical nature of their relationship at the start with enough emotional intimacy and character growth in second half of the book.
I think these two as a couple were so endearing because of they each had their own struggles they were dealing with – and no matter how hard she pushed him away he always came back for more. I will say I found his failure to understand what was a stake for Rina to be a bit infuriating but nonetheless these two are great together and I really enjoyed this one.
Also her boss being a mischievous cupid was ICONIC, had me giggling for sure.
I have thoroughly been enjoying this series – and as always, the found family hit hard.
What to expect: 🏒 hockey romance 💻 workplace romance 🏒he falls first and harder 💻 secret relationship 🏒off-limits 💻 accidental pregnancy 🏒workplace 💻one night stand 🏒 golden retriever mmc 💻 forced proximity
Well hello Oliver Van Doren!!! Jennifer, tsk tsk tsk. You naughty girl, you! I see what you did. You finally wrote a boy-obsessed who is teetering on the obsessive line - and barely so. And I am sooooo here for it! Because Oliver, the Big O??!?! OMG his obsession with Rina? Can you hear me screeching? Can you hear me gasping and waving a fan in my face while I squirm uncomfortably in my seat? Because I am! He's so totally and completely obsessed and in love with Rina that he's downright bossy and deliciously obsessed and possessive. Might this be your best and most obsessively "he falls first - and hard" mixed with "possessive" MMC? Why, ma'am, I think so! But then his bossy side?!?!?! Giiiiiiiirl. Can I just tell you how I melted? Of course being the strong women we are IRL, we HATE the idea of being bossed around by our IRL MMCs, but our fictional ones?!? All bets are off on that one. And how Jennifer has threaded Oliver's bossiness into this story? Omg, it's everything. But truthfully, it's not fully "bossiness" it's more like... he wants to take care of Rina - he loves her so much that he just wants her to have everything she doesn't even know she needs. Ugh, it's just so dang good.
That aside, "Show Me Forever" is the third book in the Chicago Railers Hockey series and can I tell you how much I am obsessed with this series? Because holy guacamole. I can't get enough. Can I also say how Jennifer teases other storylines throughout has me rabid for the next book! Like, right now? I NEED the next book - the grumpy goalie. Can I call dibs on him? Asking for a friend... I digress.
I never get into the particulars of a book in my reviews, but for me the above was a HUGE part of this book and it was so dang thrilling. I couldn't put this book down and I fell so hard for Rina and Oliver. They are so dynamic and amazing. And of course, like any Jennifer Sucevic book, the writing is top-notch, the story and world are so vivid and engaging, while the characters are just... dynamic. Just incredible.
Now, I say that so I can say this: this book? Omg, can we just say that it was pure poetry!!! Yes, I said it. I highlighted sooooo many lines in this book that just blew my socks off. The way that Jennifer has crafted the words in this book totally blew my mind because I was just in awe of how completely and totally poetic the words she used were. And let me tell you, I have literally read every single Jennifer book - no joke, every book! So I feel like I'm some sort of unofficial expert on the matter. So when I tell you that this book is poetry??? I completely, one-million-percent mean it. It got the point that I had to message Jennifer and I was like, "Ma'am! What type of poetic sorcery have you written???" My jaw was just on the ground and I had to read and re-read so many lines of this book and then I just gaped at it because I was in awe of her pure poetry. Like... I can't even put into proper words right now to describe it to you and frankly I'm probably butchering this, but just... just know this, this book is incredible. And while you read it, you need to make sure you slow yourself down so that you can truly take in the poetic magic that is unfolding on the pages before you.
Now, with that said... Jennifer? Ma'am, the next book? Just dedicate it to me right now because I'm claiming all of it. The way you teased that grumpy goalie and his FMC? I am obsessed and I don't even have a clue about the story yet. I just have a feeling that based on how OBSESSED I am with Oliver and Rina, I think that you will continue the trend in this series and that is that you make me fall soooo hard for each new couple, and so even though I'm currently living in the afterglow of Oliver and Rina, the way you teased the next book, I'm already salivating. So, put me in coach - I'm ready to one-hundred-percent go feral for your next story while I am still recovering from this one!
This was a four star for me until about halfway through the book. I really liked Oliver and Rina but felt like the plot kept circling. The way that Rina kept pushing Oliver away to protect herself got a little old for me. I liked the concept- a one night stand, turned secret romance NOT romance but really romance, turned accidental pregnancy. I liked learning more about Oliver and how he struggled to have emotions. He was the guy everyone wanted to be silly and goofy and have a fun time with. I enjoyed Rina realizing that she had been wrong about him. That he had depth. That he cared about her and his family and his people. I liked Rina and how she had this super hard shell but was really gooey and melty on the inside for the right people. And I liked how much she kind of became putty in Oliver's hands. The chemistry between these two was off the charts- just so perfect. I appreciated Oliver's patience and the guidance he had to continue to show up for Rina. I LOVED his reaction when he found out that Rina was pregnant- just PERFECT.
Rina is the PR manager for the Railers, and Oliver has been on her naughty list for forever. The dude is a walking PR nightmare. And yet there is a connection between Rina and him that she can't ignore. She needs to for her jobs sake but then one night the unthinkable happens. They explore the connection, and it is so much deeper than Rina thought. Now two months have gone by, and this thing is still going strong. No one knows. It is on the down low, but Rina has her walls up. This isn't more than sleeping together. But then Oliver does things that make her think it could be more. And the thought of him with someone else sends her into a tail spin. But she has been taught her whole life, that she can't trust men. And now somehow she is pregnant and forever tied to this man who makes her heart beat fast. Who makes her feel like the queen she is. Who makes her want to let her walls down and let him in. Who surprise her with his reaction to becoming a dad. Who also surprises her with his words and vows of commitment to her. Can she drop her walls though to let him in? Can she do all of this and keep her job?
Oliver has had a crush on Rina since he saw her. And yet he wasn't ready to go for it. She also has her walls so high- Oliver didn't know how to navigate that between them. But the tension between them has gotten so thick and heavy, Oliver can't wait anymore. So one night when he sees her out, he goes for it. And he knows he has her hooked. Because now they have been doing this thing for months. He is frustrated that she acts like it's only one thing, when sometimes he gets glimpses that it could be more. He wants it to be more. He wants her, and he wants her to be proud of being with him. So he starts to let her in. He shows her the Oliver that not a lot of people know. He shows her who he can be for her. And she slowly but surely lets him in. And then she gets pregnant. Oliver feels like he has won the lottery. This is it. The moment she will realize, he isn't going anywhere. And yet he finds himself having to convince her even more. Will his love for her be enough for her to realize he is in this? He really hopes so because Rina is his endgame. Period.
Like I said, the only reason this got 3 stars was because of the lingering plot. I am good with a woman protecting herself but it got a little old for me. I also was surprised when the story ended. It felt there could have been more. I liked the setup for the next book - Kia and Laiken here we come. I hope we get glimpses of Oliver as a dad! I felt like the pregnancy dropped halfway through and we didn't get to see how everything played out. Overall enjoyable but I wanted more!
Thank you to Valentine PR and Jennifer for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
I am loving this team. They're close, in each others business. The team doesnt stop after the game is over.
Our girl, Rina, has a guy obsessed with her. He has really fallen first. He knows Rina, he wants Rina... he kinda works with Rina?
Yeah, thats a big no no. Rina does NOT want to cross it. But Oliver "Big O" wants Rina. Soooo maybe he'll tear her down a little? (Not in a no meas no way!) And when he does... That one time is gonna lead to a lot more. Because baby is on the way!
I guess I'm not that observant or something because for me the pregnancy came out of left field! So yeah. I loved how much Oliver was into what was happening. That first phone call he made? So, so sweet.
They were slightly opposites. One was just soooo cautious and the other was like, come what may! But that always makes for great books.
This was my first book from Jennifer and I really enjoyed it! Definitely wanting to go back to the beginning of the series and also continue to see where it goes!
Accidental pregnancy is my favorite trope so when I saw this included I knew it was the perfect way to introduce me to Jennifer’s writing. I loved how the girl group and the players all were connected and they had their own little found family. The book was also very easy to follow without reading the first two books yet, which I’m now eager to read!
The way Oliver was so down bad for Rina from the beginning! I loved how he put in the work and pursued her. Even before he found out Rina was pregnant he was all in and waiting for Rina to give him a chance to show he was all in. He moves fast and is eager but also understands Rina has fears and insecurities and works to try and be patient for her.
Cannot wait to come back to this little Railers world! The next book definitely draws my interest as well!
enemies to lovers, he falls first and hard, SAY LESS!
after reading Hold Me Tight, I knew Oliver’s story was going to be a good one! the spice was SPICING and i absolutely adored the way that Oliver cared so much for Rina and made it very clear that he was all in with her.
i loved the found family in this book and how Rina finally felt supported and cared for by friends. a quick, sweet and spicy read🙌🏼
thank you so much to Jennifer Sucevic and Valentine PR for this physical copy and eARC!!🫶🏼I’m so excited to continue this series🏒
what to expect: enemies to lovers surprise pregnancy he falls first and hard found family one night stand secret pining/yearning
I absolutely loved this audiobook Oliver and Rina completely had me hooked from the start. The chemistry between them was undeniable, and I loved the tension and push-and-pull throughout their story. Oliver is that kind of MMC protective, persistent, and so swoon-worthy. The way he shows up for Rina and slowly breaks down her walls was everything.
And let’s talk about the way this man communicates… 👀 Oliver definitely knows how to make his feelings (and his wants) known, and it added such a fun, flirty edge to their dynamic without taking away from the emotional depth. Their connection felt both intense and genuine, and I loved watching it grow into something real and safe for both of them.
The audiobook made this even better the narration brought out all the emotion, tension, and chemistry in a way that completely pulled me in. I didn’t want it to end.
Overall, this was such a swoony, addictive listen and one I’ll definitely be thinking about for a while.
I have been loving the Chicago Railers series and enjoyed this one as well! Rina is desperately trying to resist the pull she has towards Oliver, until one night where they can't hold back any longer. And seeing as it was hot & heavy, these two continue to hook in up in secret. Fast forward to Rina seeing those positive pink lines and I was kicking my feet because I love the accidental pregnancy trope! She's so set on denying any feelings she has since she works PR for the hockey team, but Oliver is determined to have his woman. I love how protective he is of her, especially after finding out he's going to be a dad - literally swooning over how much he cares! Seeing them both transform and Rina break down some of those walls for him was so heartwarming.
Also those bonus chapters are literally everything - I swear we better get an Evelyn & Hugh book at the end of this series because I need more of them too! But I am excited for what's coming next with the Railers!
What to expect: -accidental pregnancy -hockey player mmc -workplace -enemies to lovers -he falls first & hard -golden retriever x black cat -secret relationship -forced proximity
Thank you so much to Jennifer Sucevic & Valentine PR for gifting me an early copy of this book!
✨ALC provided through Valentine PR for an honest review✨
Show Me Forever is a secret relationship, unplanned pregnancy, forbidden romance between an all star hockey player and the best PR rep for their team. Oliver was been in love with Rina for years, but a certain fraternization policy has kept both of them away from each other. But after a drunken night and an unexpected hookup, Oliver and Rina can’t stay away from each other. They end up in a secret relationship so Rina won’t loose the job she has worked so hard for. But when two pink lines appear on a pregnancy test and pictures of the couple get posted to gossip sites, they have to decide if their relationship is really worth fighting for ❤️
This book had a lot of spice, but the thing I liked about it was it was meaningful to the characters. Oliver fell first and hard for Rina, but every time they hooked up he felt a real connection with her other than the physical one they obviously had. Rina has been so closed off and afraid of abandonment, so she is so afraid to fall in love. But the way Oliver wouldn’t give up on her was so sweet and swoony 🥰 And the brotherly love between the hockey players was funny and supportive.
The audiobook was duet narrated by Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark. Their performances were really good and I feel like they really understood their characters. The only thing about this book is that wish there was a little more story added in. This was the first book I’ve listened to from this author, and I’ll definitely be checking out more of their work ❤️
Damn!! Oliver Van Doren is the definition of the word OBSESSED 🥵 That boy really knows about yearning!! Everything he knows is that he wants Rina, and he was sooo patient with her 🥹
I finished this book in one day because it was so fast-paced and entertaining that I couldn’t stop reading. The chapters were no longer than 10 minutes, which made it even easier to keep going. I give it 5⭐ because I’m a simple girl. All I need in my books is an obsessed boy, an accidental pregnancy, and fast-paced chapters, and I’m going to love it 🥰. And I do love this book✨ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you Valentine PR & Jennifer Sucevic for the ARC❤️ ⭐️/ 5 🌶️/3.5 💧/0
~ She’s a strong and independent woman who has serious trust issues with men. Because of this, she kept telling herself that she couldn’t be with Oliver, even though he promised her he wasn’t going anywhere until she accepted him 🥹~
~Before Rina, Oliver only cared about hockey. After meeting her, she became the only thing he could think about. And once his dream of being with her finally came true, he knew he would never let her go. No matter what it took, he was determined to make Rina trust him❤️🩹~
History📝: After one night when Rina finally gives in and agrees to spend the night with Oliver—the hockey player she’s not allowed to get involved with because they work together—the only thing she wants to do the next morning is forget it ever happened and call it a mistake.
But Oliver doesn’t see it that way. He has been OBSESSED with Rina for years, and that night meant everything to him. So he has no intention of letting her go.
And even though she tries to push him away, she soon realizes that the night they spent together came with consequences that will tie them together for life 🤰🏻
When I saw the tropes for Show Me Forever, I was so excited to know this would include a surprise pregnancy. I know that is an unpopular opinion, but I love seeing this done well in books. I have to say, I have read every book in this series so far and this one is my favorite!
I listened to the audiobook, and the narrators were great, for both the MMC and FMC. This story was so spicy and wasted no time getting into it. I personally really enjoyed that Oliver was so persistent with Rina even throughout her hesitancies.
If you love a deliciously steamy forbidden romance, I highly recommend reading this book. Rina is the PR manager for Oliver's hockey team that he plays on, and they are certainly not supposed to be hooking up as it goes against her contract. There is some really hot sneaking around scenes and flirty banter via text.
I loved getting to see the guys and ladies from the previous books. Also, the breadcrumbs for the next two books?! Omg. I actually can't wait! I was already picking up on who they would be about and the potential tropes and I am so here for it.
I spent my entire day listening to this book while I cleaned around the house and it made doing chores 100x more enjoyable. Loved Oliver and Rina together!
It was okay. (Possible spoilers ahead) Oliver was down bad for Rina. The blurb says a ONS, but it really wasn’t
I’d say about 75% of this book is Rina lying to herself. Her mom is basically a man-hater and has pushed that opinion onto Rina.
Oliver used to be a manho but you never see it in this book. He was devoted to Rina and he spends this whole book proving that to her. 🤷♀️ OVER AND OVER AGAIN
Rina is not allowed to date any NHL players since she’s PR, so most of their relationship is in secret. None of this matters though, since the rules are bent for them. I hate when there are huge issues that end up being easily wrapped up.
Naturally, an oops pregnancy
I will admit that I ended up skimming a lot of Rina’s POV. It was so repetitive and very annoying.
This does have the built-in friend group (I am starting to hate these) It’s where one H ends up with an h who introduces her BFF/sister to the group, then that BFF ends up with H’s BFF or brother. If authors really want to make their books realistic- add a “friend” to the group that NOBODY likes. 😜
I’ll go with 2.5-3 stars. And that’s mostly for Oliver.
Fans of a man obsessed, you need to pick this one up. Relentless in his pursuit and slightly unhinged at times, Oliver Van Doren is down BAD. Every time Rina is all, “We can’t,” Oliver is all, “Hard pass; try again.”
I am firmly team AP lover. There’s something about seeing a man step up once he finds out he’s going to be a dad. And Oliver is all in immediately because he was already in love with Rina despite her best efforts to keep a wall between them. Rina is firmly against leaning on someone for support after her father left when she was young, while all Oliver wants is to support the woman he loves after his own father passed away when he was a child. It makes for a great dynamic.
Mollie Stark was perfect as Rina, voicing the strong, independent side of her as well as capturing the softer moments as she lets her walls down. Jason Clarke also performs Oliver well. And as always, loved duet narration.
Final note: I am frothing at the mouth for the next book. Giddy in anticipation. Need it yesterday.
I love love a man obsessed and patient. Oliver is that. He waited years for one chance with Rina. From the get go we know his intentions even though Rina is trying to keep him at bay she ends up giving in most of the time. These two have such great chemistry inside and outside the bedroom. The surprise baby was and added bonus. I loved how Oliver was all in from the get go. & he showed up in a big way.
Thank you to The Author Agency and the author for an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.
This was my first read from @jennifersucevicauthor and I absolutely fell in love. Not only did it pull me out of a bit of a slump, but it also tied together so many of my favorite tropes perfectly.
I’m such a sucker for: 💙 Hockey players 💙 Accidental pregnancy 💙 He falls first—and HARD 💙 One night stand to lovers 💙 Forced proximity
The whole trope crew makes an appearance here. I flew through this one. I seriously could not put down Rina and Oliver’s story!
Duet style narration 5/5🎧 Story 3,75/5 ⭐️ - not a groundbreaking piece but still entertaining and enjoyable on audio Spice 3/5🌶️ No cheating, no sharing, no Op detailed content

I sense surprise pregnancy trope and I magically appear🧞♀️🧞♀️
Oliver was OBSESSED and he had no problem SHOWING it!
“One of these days, she’ll stop fighting it. And when she does, I’ll be right here waiting.”
“This is the rest of my life. And I’ll spend every damn day proving it to her. Even if she doesn’t believe me yet. Even if it takes patience I’ve never had before. I’ll wait. No matter how long it takes.”
I could not put this book down it was so addicting.
Ok Oliver is OBSESSED with Rina! Like obsessed obsessed. They work together so they shouldn’t be in a relationship. So she keeps trying to break off their “hookupship” but he just won’t let her and the man won’t back down! (But like, in a good way) cuz he just knows she’s it for him!!
He seriously was right on the border for stalkerish but I loved every second of it!
The way this man treasures Rina and takes care of her!!! Everyone needs an Oliver Van Doren in their lives!!!
oliver is obsessed and i am here for it!!!! rina’s guarded. she has trust issues and believes that the people she loves will leave. but oliver is there and doing whatever he can to prove to her that he’s not going anywhere. he’s patient, persistent and so dang sweet.
-accidental pregnancy -workplace romance -enemies to lovers -he falls first & hard -secret relationship
thank you jennifer sucevic & valentine pr for the arc 🩵
I am really enjoying the Chicago Railers series by Jennifer Sucevic and Show Me Forever is no exception. Loved it. Oliver and Rina are the next couple to find romance but it is not without its bumps in the road, mainly Rina's reluctance and stubbornness..Her Mum has planted a seed inside Rina that all men cheat and that never to depend on anybody..But if she doesn't lower her walls she could miss out on one of the best men she will ever meet being hers. Rina is a PR Rep for the Chicago Railers, she is fearlessly independent. Oliver Van Doren Hockey Player for the Railers,he has a huge crush on Rina, also known as the big O..Oliver has a reputation. They do sleep together and Rina is horrified because she could lose her job, nothing could ever happen between them and she vows it will never happen again. Well that was a nice thought Rina but Oliver is persistant,he is determined to make her his despite Rina's reluctance. They hook up in secret and every time Rina says never again, but this is more than sex to Oliver..Rina is just confused she is conflicted with her feelings towards Oliver. Then those pesky pink lines on a stick changes EVERYTHING.!!! Oliver though oh I love him he is brilliant he welcomes the pregnancy with open arms,he is so swoony and does nothing but take care of Rina..He has the patience of a saint with her because she keeps trying to push him away. He has to prove to Rina that he is NOT going anywhere and they are meant to be together..We see a very afraid and vunerable side to Rina..I honestly have no clue how she could not trust Oliver and I became frustrated with her at times, and the way she treated him wanting to exclude him and thinking for him, expecting him to leave her being a single mum. I love Oliver's teammates I can't wait for their stories..Zane is unbelieveable I can't get over how egotistical he is...I will be interested to know if Jennifer will write him a book,he needs a nerdy, sassy, normal woman to bring him back down to earth. I am excited for future books especially with the little nuggets we are given by Jennifer Sucevic..I am loving her writing and the details of the characters and what they feel and think. Narration is Perfection by Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark, their acting skills are excellent and full of passion for the characters and their situation. They were both great to listen to and I enjoyed both Jason and Mollie's storytelling. Swoony, romantic and super spicy, this is another Amazing story and a fabulous edition to this series,I loved it. Brilliant 5 Stars.- Cat W.

With the two different individuals journeys of Oliver and Rina, on top of the journey that was the blossoming of their relationship. It led toShow Me Foreverbeing a good read. And with the inclusion of the secondary characters in the form of friends and family, it added more by making the story an enjoyable read. Especially with the love and laughter that came from the moments shared, particularly in the scenes that included said secondary characters.
It was cute and sweet seeing Oliver go so hard for Rina time and time again, just so she would know, understand and see how much he was truly invested in having a real and genuine relationship with her. Considering Rina’s hesitation that had her pushing back. Yet despite that it didn’t stop Oliver from proving he was in it for the long run and nothing could stop him, not even Rina’s issues. Something that was always showcased within Oliver's inner monologue in his POV chapters. It what’s made for some adorable yet funny moments, watching Oliver push, while Rina would pull back at times. Particularly from their shared witty banter, proving even more they were meant to be. Oliver was truly in for the long run, playing the long game considering how obsessed he was in relentlessly pursuing Rina and to make her see why they were worth it.
As for Rina, author Jennifer showcased the character development of Rina through her POV chapters with not only seeing, but hearing from her inner monologue the struggles and issues she was fighting when it came to her reasoning for holding back from pursuing a relationship with Oliver. Even after her slips up of sleeping together. Allowing us to understand her perspective, while showing a realism in the slow pacing of her journey, since it wasn’t something easy to overcome for her.
I can’t deny that the story did have me expecting to see more exploration within Oliver and Rina's relationship. It felt like most of what was showcased was the physical side given their physical attraction. All the while lacking from the depth that could’ve been gained through a deeper exploration of the emotional side that just wasn’t fully present as much as it could've been IMO.
Maybe it was just me, but it would’ve been nice to see a little more in regards to the Surprise Pregnancy trope. Other than the few times of being mentioned, it just wasn’t really a memorable part to the story despite the importance it played within Oliver and Rina’s relationship.
Despite the inclusion of the epilogues, the ending felt very abrupt with how the story finished. IMO it didn’t feel like a real ending, having expected to find another chapter or two, since it felt more like the end of a chapter as opposed to the end of the story.
All in all,Show Me Foreverby Jennifer Sucevic still made for a pleasant read with an enjoyable storyline that bought together an array of sweet and cute moments paving towards spicy times.

Mollie and Jason were the most PERFECT couple to voice this book! I mean let's be honest I am a Jason Clarke HOE. I would listen to ANYTHING he voices! I truly enoyed Mollie in this book and I am even more excited to see what else she does!
✨️📖 On To The Book Review 📖✨️
Where do I even begin? Jennifer always gives us the MOST, and this was soooo much better than I ever expected!! I am a surprise pregnancy SLUT, I will read it ANYTIME! Jennifer really gave us the business with this one and I AM HERE FOR IT! I DEVOURED this book with the quickness! I am sooo pumped to see what and who will be the next couple!
Rina and Oliver are quite literally one of my FAVE couples for the year!! I loved their banter and their chemistry! It was OFF THE CHARTS! How could it not be with that Golden Retriever of a man who is OBSESSED with her? GIMME THAT MAN! So many women would l;ove to have this man, and Rina is over here overthinking everything. I can't say that I wouldn't either, but you best believe that man would have me in ROPES!
There wasn't a plac ein this book that I didn't gobble up. I loved that Rina was super strong and refused to settle for less. I loved her strong will and how much she has worked for where she is in life. It takes so much grit to be able to be the force that she is!
Don't even get me started on Oliver Van Doren! He wasn't your average cocky hockey star! He was like an onion with soo many layers. With each scene you are able to see the layers that he has. It was so fantastic I almost cried (bcuz of the onion DUH.) He knows what he wants and Rina is it for him! he is willing to do ANYTHING for her, because there isn't anyone else that would ever do it for him!
I couldn't get enough of this couple and I am s thrilled with how the book went! I'm sad that its over but also excited to see them in future books!

Show Me Forever by Jennifer Sucevic is a sports romance that hits all the right notes for fans of steamy, emotional pro hockey love stories. 😉
It’s the third standalone in the Chicago Railers series (following Make Me Yours and Hold Me Tight), I’ve not read the previous ones, but at some point I’m going to rectify that as I loved this one.
Oliver Van Doren, the team’s charismatic but seemingly chaotic star forward, and Rina (the FMC, likely a team staff member or manager given the off-limits workplace dynamic).
The plot kicks off with a combustible one night stand fueled by years of simmering tension and banter, enemies to lovers style, where they pretend the chemistry doesn’t exist until it explodes. Then come the two pink lines….. surprise pregnancy!
The forced proximity ramps up as Rina moves in with Oliver, who turns out to be far more than the devilish, messy playboy she pegged him for. He’s patient, attentive, protective, and a total “boy obsessed” golden retriever hero who falls first and hard, showing his softer, devoted side day by day.
I loved how Oliver was all in, and I loved his obvious devotion. The way he wins Rina over, just melted me, I couldn’t help the grin as I read page after page.
The story shifts from snarky tension to tender intimacy, with strong emotional moments as Rina confronts her hesitations and Oliver proves he’s reliable and committed. Banter is fun, I liked the addition of the team cameos.
If you love high spice hockey romances with golden retriever heroes, forced proximity, enemies to lovers banter turning sweet, and a hero who steps up big time, this delivers big. It’s, swoony fun with solid emotional moments.
Oliver and Rina hooked up in a passionate night, and now they cannot stop hooking up. The problem is that it is strictly forbidden as they work together. He is a player for the Chicago Railers, and she is the PR person for the team. When two pink lines happen, Oliver is all in, but Rina is used to people leaving. As Oliver continues to show up, Rina must decide if she can trust him to stay.
I love Oliver Van Doren. He was so in love with Rina and kept on showing up for her. He is a man obsessed, and I felt for Rina. She had trust issues a mile long, relying on only herself. Oliver’s continued support allowed her to see how a relationship could grow.
The tension and banter between these two was perfect. I loved how Oliver was into Rina from the beginning, and he put in the work to pursue her. He kept showing up, showing he was all in. Rina was a relatable lead. She is fearless and independent, but has serious trust issues stemming from her childhood. It takes her a long time to believe that Oliver will continue to show up, but his love is persistent. I loved seeing her finally trust herself to fall and love.
I loved seeing the characters from the previous books show up for their friends. The way they show up for and support each other is amazing. I also loved seeing the hints for what characters we might see in the next books!
If you love a man obsessed who falls hard, and a woman who is struggling with trust issues, this book would be perfect. I love how Jennifer creates compelling characters we become attached to.
This starts off with a bang with Rina giving in to the chemistry between her and Oliver. As a reader, this pulled me straight into their story and their relationship dynamic. Oliver had been very much like that kid in the school playground pulling the hair of the girl he crushed on, so one night with Rina was his in and he wasn’t letting go, she was what he wanted. I love it when the guy falls first and falls as hard as Oliver does in this! For Rina, she’d been taught by her mother and other friends experiences that men and love couldn’t be trusted, she needed to only ever rely on herself. The unplanned pregnancy was Oliver’s excuse to move her in and prove he was in it for the long term. There’s plenty of drama with the non-fraternization clause in Rina’s work contract, and lots of emotional moments as these two grow within themselves and together as their relationship develops. Her epiphany was summed up nicely with these words. “Outside, the day keeps moving. But in here, it feels like the world has slowed down enough to remind me what happiness really looks like. It’s not the big wins or loud moments; it’s this. The people you love. The laughter that lingers. And the quiet certainty that, for the moment, everyone’s exactly where they’re meant to be.” And for him; “She gave me her trust last night. Not because I asked for it, but because she finally believed it was safe to do so. And that trust? I’ll spend every day proving she made the right decision to give it. This is the moment when everything I’ve ever wanted finally settles into something solid and real. Something that feels like forever.” I thought Oliver and Rina made a great couple and I enjoyed this from start to finish!
