Indulge: A Time Academy Examination

by C.M. Lehsten

Indulgence does not begin with corruption.
It begins with permission.

At the Time Academy, students are taught through catastrophe.

Their latest
a village, a subtle enchantment, and a single objective—

remove restraint.

No one is commanded.
No one is controlled.

The villagers simply begin choosing what they want.

A celebration forms.
Then it spreads.
Then it replaces everything.

Work stops.
Time dissolves.
Responsibility fades.

And still—
nothing feels wrong.

Because the most dangerous collapse is the one no one resists.

At the Academy, history is not recorded.
It is corrected.

Indulge is a standalone horror Examination set within the Time Academy universe—where every story reveals how easily the world can be changed.

About the author

C. M. Lehsten writes stories that will haunt your dreams long after the last page. Author of Festival, and other dark tales, she crafts horror that creeps from the shadows of Western New York—where the mist of Niagara Falls and the forests of Letchworth State Park seem to whisper secrets. Even before she could write, she spun sinister adventures for her imaginary friend, a habit that grew into a lifelong love of chilling storytelling. When not conjuring nightmares, she enjoys spoiling her grandchildren and exploring the woods with her husband of over thirty years—though she suspects some of those woods are better left alone.
