Four friends. Twenty-two bridesmaids' dresses.
One random act of kindness that will change their lives forever.

Tess has given up looking for Mr. Right, but that doesn’t mean she’s given up on love. When she reads a newspaper article about a young couple who've had everything stolen from their home, including four bridesmaids dresses, she knows she has to help.

But by helping the bride, Tess risks exposing a past she doesn't want anyone to know about. She does everything she can to minimize the danger she's in, but she does the one thing guaranteed to destroy everything - she falls in love with the wrong man.

Logan Allen has spent most of his career reporting on the news from around the world. When a letter arrives from Afghanistan, the trauma he's been living with is about to explode back into his life. He betrayed a small Afghan village and Tess thinks he’s betrayed her.

From their first random act of kindness comes an experience Logan and Tess will never forget. And maybe, if they work together, they can create a future that’s better than anything they've left behind.

Entertaining

A very believable romance. There were several places where I just couldn't put it down. I appreciated there were no over the top love scenes with too many descriptive words. I usually skip over those. This book didn't do that, which I liked. All of me was quite enjoyable and featured real people overcoming real issues.

Sweet fast paced read

Tess had secrets that kept her hiding behind a busy yet generous life. She and her friends band together to help a local couple. Once the hero comes into the scene there is a lot of backtracking and a lot of finger pointing. There was very good points in this book and then there were some rocky moments in the reading. All told though it was a very good hearted read.

I just couldn't get into it. It was pretty slow moving. There was more focus on the bridesmaids dresses than the actual story. I was trying to figure out which story I was reading. I put the book down and picked it up so many time trying to see if I could get back into it and I just couldn't. Plus there were so many characters all at once, plus the bridal party of the 'side story' that my mind was spinning trying to piece everyone together. It was almost like an overload adding to a boring story. I wanted to like it, but I just couldn't.

This was a bit dull. Not exactly a problem of the characters but the writing. It was so painfully slow i was ready for it to end halfway. I liked Tess and Logan enough as individuals, yet I still could not see their chemistry together. He likes her food and he's there all the time for her but I just I needed more from these two in terms of their bonding for me to believe they're really OTP. As for the secondry charcters, which the second book is about, they are exactly what I think a perfect couple must have. They're interesting and I am going to pick the second book now.

I did enjoy the story 3.5

Tess and Logan diddnt do it for me though, although as individuals they are written brilliantly, together for me they just did not work, Logan is like a puppy dog completely devoted to the ice queen and she keeps kicking him to the curb, and although seemingly reluctant in his company she still keeps it, I felt she led him on a bit.... He does finally manage to prise her out the freezer and start defrosting her but by then the book has finished.

I did however love how the book's plotline focuses a lot on selfless causes and a strong female friendships, the writing and characters are beautiful and the storyline itself was nice enough, just main romance felt a bit pushed and mechanical

Complicated Heroine Restaurateur

I loved the fact Tess Williams knew her worth at nearly 30. She valued her loyalty and friends when they were needed. Morgan allows a tragic event to not consume but motivate many of her decisions. And Logan is her equal in broken and healed parts. Both are slowly transitioning out of difficult pasts without ignoring the after effects. Love strong, internal fortitude in women. My kinda romance since it the romance worked within the story and the slow build really kept my interest.

I wish this book was chick-lit. I enjoyed the friendship between the female characters and the way they worked together to bring together the Bridesmaids Club and help out brides.

However, I felt that the leads lacked chemistry, and the amount of subplot in the book (the Bridesmaid Club, Tess's secret, Logan's search for answers) meant that we spent very little time with the actual romance. Additionally, the way Logan hounded Tess for answers rather soured me on him, even if he wasn't awful.

Ultimately, this was an alright read, but the unbalanced plot lowered my rating.

Great read

Friends are wonderful. I laughed many times throughout this story. Sad circumstances end up being happy futures. True friends and love fill each page.

I tried. Like really hard to get into this book. The chemistry was there, the adventure was there. It was just going soooooo slow. And I apparently have an issue with patience since I just quit on it after about 33%. The cover, title and blurb attracted me. Unfortunately, the pacing of the story killed my enjoyment of this book.

Despite how unrealistic I thought the plot was I really enjoyed the book. It was an easy read and the characters were likable. There's not much you can ask for in a book that doesn't have much in it. It's told from the two limited perspectives of Tess and Logan. Tess is the owner of a lucrative cafe that she opened three years prior to moving into the little town of Bozeman. Her life gets intricately tangled with that of a local reporters', Logan Allen. That's pretty much the entirety of the story with a bit other situations thrown in for good measure. Both Tess and Logan has great, supportive friends, that help them through things that have left them jaded in their past.
What I didn't like is the fact that like so many other chick-lit books out there, the antagonist gets pushed around and made to do things so that she needs a man in her life. The writing made this part of the book unbearable. The book also didn't tie up loose ends, which I guess the next one (that I most likely will not be reading) will. Other than that, everything was pretty much solid.

A beautiful, sweet romance about two people who moved to Bozeman to find solace. They found so much more in each other. in this lovely romance was a story about how the charitable events of The Bridesmaids Club got started. In addition, there is a lovely group of secondary characters that get their own stories in the series.

A fun book! Nothing too thought provoking but that is nice sometimes too. I was fairly sure how the book would end even from the beginning. But the journey through was worth the read.

I struggled with this one, for a number of reasons. I made over 30 notes on my Kindle along the way because of this struggle. It was one of those reads where I rolled my eyes quite a bit but just had to keep reading to find out what would happen.

You know what compelled me to keep reading the most, though? Dylan! He's not a main character (in this book), but he's the one I was most interested in reading more about. So yes, I'm sucked in and I will have to buy the second book so I can read aaaaall about that scrumptious Dylan guy. Good job, Leeanna Morgan, your tactic worked.

Anyway, sure, I did want to see happiness for Tess and Logan, but I was frustrated during a lot of the read along the way. Tess was annoying at times, though I could see why she was so stressed out. The way she turned on Logan at a certain part of the book frustrated me, because she clearly wasn't paying attention to what he was saying or his .

Also, you know one thing I hate to see in a romance book? A main character deciding that he or she loves his or her love interest/partner more than a) his / her mother who is an awesome person, 2) his / her kids, 3) basically anyone else in the history of his or her world, even if he or she happens to have other awesome people in his or her life.

So basically what I'm saying is, I remember reading a romance once where the heroine decided at one point that she loved the man "more than anyone in the entire world..." never mind that she had children. The fact that she supposedly loved this guy she'd recently met more than her own kids really irritated me. And Logan did a similar thing in this book. He loves Tess more than his mum. Hmm, his mum is awesome and loving. So can't he love them to the same degree but just in very (thankfully) different ways?

It's not cool to love a girl or guy more than you love your own kids, and it's not cool to love a girl or a guy more than your totally awesome parent who raised you to be a great person and never did anything wrong and who you adore.

This may seem like a really silly and inconsequential thing to rant about, but whenever I see this sort of thing in a romance book I want to punch the character in question. So, that said... Let's move on shall we?

To the end of the review, because I'm done. :P But now I NEED MORE DYLAN.

A sweet, sweet story of two badly hurt people trying to get their life put together again. Both, Tess and Logan have been hurt badly. Both had to move away to even begin to heal. But that move gave them a new beginning. For Tess, it allowed her to remain hidden, out of the limelight, unknown. For Logan, an award winning journalist, it took him off the hard hitting newsbeat while he could recuperate. Both Tess and Logan were famous but needed a break from success, for very different reasons.

Tess had a very bad opinion of reporters, and rightfully so. She had been smeared in the press unjustly. Her modeling days were over. They ruined her career.

Logan spent many months in Afghanistan reporting the good, the bad and the ugly events on the battlefield. After a suicide bombing, he had to come back home. He had PTSD

Both Tess and Logan were loving and caring people. They both were protectors. Both reached out in their own way to help other hurting people. And that is what brought them together. Logan did a story on a couple getting married whose home was broken into and robbed of everything, even the bridesmaids dresses, while they were visiting the bride-to be’s dying mother. Reading the story, Tess gathered with friends and planned out a way to help. Thus The Bridesmaid Club was formed.

Of course, Logan would write a followup story. Little by little Tess began to trust Logan. But sometimes events can come back to haunt you. They can make you question everything, especially if your vulnerable and fear past secrets coming out in the open.

👁⌃👁 OBSERVATIONS:

✒︎ Appreciated that there were no steamy bedroom scenes. Yes, there were a couple ‘closed door’ scenarios but not explicit.

✒︎ At times I got frustrated with Tess. She was too stubborn for her own good. Being stubborn and being smart are two very different things.

✒︎ Hmmmm…. I have a feeling I know who Belle is. 👧

✒︎ Thinking Dylan and Annie’s book will be touching, yet really humorous and funny. Want to know what happened to Dylan. It sounds scary.

This is my second read from Leeanna Morgan, and it was just as enjoyable as the first, she never fails to sweep me away with her writing and beautifully told love stories.

From the start I was enamoured with our main characters, even Logan who was like a lovable dickhead! Every character had their right place within the story and brought something worthwhile with them.

The book itself had a few different strands that wove together to create a book that I felt had everything you could want from a romance. There was a slow burn love story, no over the top love scenes (which definitely put me off), points where I laughed out loud, times where it made me cry and scenes that were gritty and relatable and real life.

And the added aspect of the Bridesmaid Club brought this book to life, it gave the characters background and added an extra layer to the story, it gave us something else to look forward to when we were reading.

The setting and the little village that Tess and co reside in seems like such a quaint and peaceful place to live, and it was so well written that it felt as if were there. I could almost taste the pancakes that they were whipping up!

My only "big" criticism is that the ending felt as if it were being wrapped up too quickly, we seemed to jump quite far forward in time without any kind of indication of how much time had passed, we had to fill in the blanks a little bit.

On the whole though I absolutely adored All Of Me, it was an enjoyable fast paced read, that was like a shining bright sunny light on a rainy day!

I must say I had little hopes for this book. It sounded fun and interesting but something told me it was not going to be as good a book as I thought. It unfortunate but I was correct. :(
At first the story was very enthralling and fun! but the further in I read the less interested i became. The story became boring after the first 100 pgs, and I will tell you why in a moment.
The characters were lively and interesting. But I felt like they were not formed all the way. I felt like every character was missing something and that made the characters unsatisfactory.
The writing was well done and the story well formed. I thought conflicts were a little all over the place. At first the main conflict is one thing and then its something completely different and that made the book confusing.
It was because of this quick change of conflict that made the book very boring. I am not sure why I was bored with it but i knew that after the first 100 pgs, I was more then happy to delete the downloaded book without a problem. However I felt like I owed it to the author to finish her piece of work.
I think the the romance side of it was very forced and one-sided and I don't think that the two main characters belonged together at all. They had no click.
Other then that i saw no problems with the story. I thought it was boring and a waste of my time. I think Leeanna has potential with her stories. But nothing in this book leads me to believe that any of her other books are better. I wish the author luck in her career, for i think she has a real chance. But her book just did not do it for me.

I can't remember if I've read any titles from Ms. Morgan before but I know this is my first read from this series. And my verdict...it was OK.
The book actually started off promising for me. The first chapter with the cute interaction between Logan and Tess was adorable. Especially with Logan learning to make pancakes at Tess' cafe. However, when all of the other characters were introduced and the whole Bridesmaid pact came to be it got a bit confusing to me. I understand the need to sprinkle in some other back stories for the other characters and I knew they would have their own books too, but the way it was sprinkled didn't work for me. I would focus on Tess and Logan for a while and then out of nowhere (or what I felt like out of nowhere) I would read about Molly or Annie or Sandy, or even Dylan. By the end of it, I felt dizzy trying to get everyone's story straight.
One of my other complaint about this book was the fact that Molly was supposed to be Irish. However, nothing in her dialogue would hint at that. The only "accent" I got from her was her use of darling. But even that was not enough. I have read books before where you can really hear/feel/sense their culture. Not even and "aye" was added. So bummed about that.
Over all I thought the book was ok. The story line could have used some more polishing and focus but I did like the idea of helping out brides and bridesmaids get free dresses for the big day. That sounds like a great idea.

What an absolutely charming, heartwarming and amusing story! Logan, former war reporter, suffers from PTSD after a very horrible incident in Afghanistan and settles as a small paper reporter in Bozeman. Tess, owner of the local bakery, came back to Bozeman to escape a scandal from her former life. When an article from Logan about a young couple who have had everything stolen from their home, including the bridesmaids' dresses, she and her friends decide to help, although Tess is worried that this will expose her past. Oh and she hates reporters, but they need Logan's help to find the couple in the first place.
Absolutely charming and realistic protagonists with enough sparks among them to make the air sizzle, with friends who make you think you don't need enemies (in a good way though), a brilliant plot with enough twists and turns to keep the story intense, this story just touched my heart. Everything just came together perfectly, and the way Tess' and Logan's pasts were slowly revealed kept the reader guessing, but not for too long.
A real gem, absolutely loved this, and will most certainly follow this series.

It was slow moving at first. Tess owned the Cafe in Bozeman and Logan was a reporter that had been in Afganistan and came back with post traumatic syndrome and had trouble sleeping at night so he would always run in the early mornings and would stop at Tess's business before going home. he would help fix pancakes or some other pastry. She would always let him know she didn't like reporters. He wrote a story about a couple whose house and even the wedding dresses taken. So Tess
wanted to help so she had to do detective work to find out it was Connie and Dale. So Tess started a Bridesmaid Dress Club with her friends. they got all their Bridesmaid dresses together and Connie's mother was in the hospital and they had to move the wedding up as she was expected to die. They handled that and her mother died the next night. Logan did a follow up story and people started sending in dresses to the club. Logan and Tess got to be better friends. He wanted to go back to Afganistan a he did and then to London and when he got back he proposed to Tess and she said yes. And he gave her an engagement ring.

Tess and Logan have known each other for some time. However, Tess is barely tolerable of Logan’s presence and he can’t understand why.
Logan, a former international journalist who has problems sleeping, soon learns why Tess responds to him the way she does.

Tess a former model, who left that world behind due to a scandal involving a close friend, is hiding away in her home town running her bakery, has a disdain for anyone or anything that may force her back into the limelight, especially reporters.

There is attraction between them, but each has their own reasons for resisting.

When Tess and a group of friends decide to get together to help a bride in need, they inadvertently start The Bridesmade Club. Once a story is done about their club, it opens the door for so much more to be found out!

I really enjoyed this book. The two main characters were great, but their friends lend a whole different type of fun to this story.

Side characters are well developed and relatable, they could be your friends!
I can’t wait t read more books in this series.

This was a quick fun if a little predictable read. Leeanna Morgan's books are always fun. I enjoyed the characters, Tess and Logan start off as "enemies". She doesn't like reporters, for reasons. He is a reporter, with a tragic recent past. Both of them are a bit broken, but they can't seem to stay away from each other.
Tess and her quirky friends start a Bridesmaids Club to donate dresses they have worn in all of the weddings they had participated in when Logan writes a story in the local newspaper about a young couple who had their home burgled and everything including the bride and all of her bridesmaids dresses taken by the thieves. Tess and her friends save the day for this young couple which is heartwarming.
The conflict that tears Tess and Logan apart was a little forced, in my opinion, but it at least made sense for the plot. The side characters are great and I'm certain this entire series will be fun to read.
If you're looking for a fast, fun, read, definitely pick All of me by Leeanna Morgan up.

I appreciated the humor and humorous dialog. Not only are the characters likeable, but they are complex enough that the reader wants to know more about them. I also appreciated that both the main characters were dealing with inner struggles; there were several scenes that illustrated ways we can find people we feel safe confiding in and letting ourselves be vulnerable so we can face our demons and ask for help doing so. Some of the topics are fairly heavy (PTSD, suicide boming, eating disorders, drug overdose, guilt, mistrust) but help make the story seem more real and touching.
Despite some heavy topics, it was a pretty light read. I liked the writing style--it had a good balance between dialog, description, and reflection. However, the dialog at the end was really cheesy and unoriginal. I would have appreciated an ending that was less 'and they all lived happily-ever-after' sounding.

This is the first book in the Bridesmaids Club series by Leanna Morgan. Tess Williams used to be an international supermodel who has returned to her hometown after reading an article of a bride-to-be who lost who lost everything due to a burglary, Tess felt she had to do something. Tess and her three friends decide to form the Bridesmaid Club in Bozeman, Montana. Logan Allen ends up in Bozeman after having a bad experience as a reporter in Afghanistan. Logan suffers from PTSD after his experience in Afghanistan. Tess suggests that Logan write an article on The Bridesmaid Club helping the couple. When a letter arrives from Afghanistan, the trauma Logan’s been living with is about to come back to haunt him. The one thing Tess did not count on was falling in love with a reporter. This second chance blending kindness and two people trying to outrun their past. I really enjoyed this wonderful contemporary romance.

Tess is the owner of Angel Wings Cafe. She loves cooking and baking and she does volunteering with food from her cafe. But she has an ugly past that she wants no one to know.

When she and her friends see an article in the paper about a couple that had everything stolen from them two weeks before their wedding, including the 4 bridesmaid dresses, Tess and her friends take notice and feel because they have so many bridesmaid dresses between them that maybe they could help out the bride. But first they need to find out her name.

Tess made one mistake, she fell in love with Logan Allen, the man who had written the article. He was previously an award winning reporter reporting on Afghanistan. Read what happens as her identity is revealed and Logan returns to Afghanistan It is an interesting, well written book you are sure to enjoy.

ALL of ME
The Bridesmaid Club

LEEANNA MORGAN

Review by Author Roy Murry

Tess, an ex-model, owns a small-town cafe after a traumatic event that still possesses her. Logan, a veteran war reporter, moves to the town and, for a year, is smitten by her.

She does not like reporters. At this point, the educated reader knows they'll get together. Each has its horror stories that collide in the relationship that lead to confrontations.

Romance lovers will love the characters, but the storyline has too many backstory gaps, which they will overlook. However, these genre lovers will enjoy the tit for tat of Tess and Logan's relationship and forgive the holes in the story.

Because ALL OF ME is well-written with interesting characters, I recommend it to all Romance Lovers, using Kindle, to read the series. All others beware.

This was far better than I expected it to be. We follow Tess, a local bakery owner with a past she is hiding from and Logan, a former war reporter with PTSD. He is working for a small newspaper in Bozeman. Logan is a frequent customer at the bakery, but Tess generally gives him the cold shoulder because for good reason she despises reporters. He wrote an article about a bride who got her bridesmaid dresses stolen 2 weeks before the wedding. Tess and her friends band together to collect all their bridesmaid dresses to donate. Logan helps them contact the bride. In a follow up article, the publicity brings them many more donations of dresses and The Bridesmaid Club is born. This was a dual plot line story and slowly revealed the issues in the pasts of Tess and Logan. It was very well plotted, and I am glad to see there is a Book 2.
