WARNING - This book will break your heart.
I felt so sorry for Ciera. She had to get through so many tough things in her life! I didn't like Topher at first, but when he got to know Ciera properly, he changed. I really liked him after that. They made such a cute couple!
There's not many books that have made me cry, but his one has. There's not many books that get a 5 star rating from me, but this one has. (And it's the first of the year too!) It broke my heart, and I didn't want the story to end.
I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first one, but it was still a decent read.
I really liked Madalynne in Learning to Live, so I was looking forward to reading this one to see more of her and Parker. She was still a likable character, and her and Parker's relationship was still cute, but at times, I did find her annoying. I could understand why she was acting the way she was though.
The ending was nice, and I'm glad that everything worked out.
This was an okay read, but it's my least favorite in the series so far.
I felt really sorry for Jacqueline. Having a a drug addict as a mother, and then being passed around different foster homes like a game of pass the parcel must have been tough. It took me a while to warm to Lee. The comments he made about Jacqueline not being normal, and talking about her like she would be a huge burden if he dated her because of a mental illness she had annoyed me. As if the poor girl hadn't had enough of that attitude in her life!
This wasn't my favorite read in the series, which I think was mainly due to how long it took me to warm to lee, but it was an alright read.
This was an okay read, but it wasnt my favorite in the series.
Austyn and Avery were okay characters, but I didn't love them. I felt sorry for them both at a point in the story, but I still couldn't warm to them enough to really like them.
This wasn't a bad read, but it took a decent while for something to happen, and I started to lose interest at around 40% because of it.
Overall, Alright read, but took a while to get going.
This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Kira Adams!
The Infinite Love Series is a box set of all five books in the Infinite Love series, including Learning to Live, Life After, My Forever, Beautifully Broken, and Against All Odds.
When Kira Adams reached out to me with a review request, I was so excited for The Infinite Love Series. I read the synopsis and I knew that I was going to enjoy this book, and I did! The Infinite Love Series is such a good book series filled with romance and some hard topics such as bullying, suicide and mental illness. This series is beautiful yet heartbreaking, and I’m so glad that I got the opportunity to read and review this box set! I really enjoyed The Infinite Love Series, and I’m excited to read more of Kira Adams’ books.
Learning to Live: 5/5
Learning to Live is the first book in the box set and it already sets my expectations. Learning to Live was such a beautiful and emotional book, and it was so heartbreaking. I really loved Ciera and Topher together but their ending was so sad. But I was so happy that they had some beautiful and happy moments together. PS: I had to cry at the end of the book…
Life After: 4/5
Life After is set after Learning to Live, it continues Topher’s story. I wasn’t sure whether I was going to like this book or not because I really loved Ciera, but I ended up really liking this book. I’m so happy that Topher got a second chance with love, Destiny. This book was totally different from Learning to Live, but I still enjoyed reading it.
My Forever: 3.5/5 My Forever was my least favourite book of all five books and that was mainly because the book had too much drama. Don’t get me wrong, I love some good drama but it was just too much for me. But besides the constant drama, I still liked this story because it was about discovering your true self, what you really want in life and who you want to spend it with.
Beautifully Broken: 4/5
Beautifully Broken was a bit of a difficult read for me because I struggle with self-harm and sometimes reading about it can be a bit hard for me. But besides the self-harm, I still really enjoyed this book. Beautifully Broken talks about bipolar and what it’s like living with such a hard mental illness. Both Jacqueline and Lee were broken and messed up, but they found each other and they found happiness together. I really loved that they both got their happy ending.
Against All Odds: 4.5/5 And lastly we have Against All Odds. I really enjoyed Austyn and Avery’s story because it was so beautiful and realistic. The main characters have been through so much but they always had each other, and that was just so beautiful. Even though the couple had their struggles, they fought for each other and they got their happily ever after.
I was given this series by the wonderful Kira Adams in return for an honest review.
Book 1 ✰✰✰✰✰ This is an amazing book. It is mainly centered around Ciera and Topher. He started as one of her biggest tormentors and she was the "ghost" who few people even noticed and the ones who did made her life a living hell. Somewhere along the way their paths cross unexpectedly, which leads to an amazing love story filled with laughter and heartache. " He taught me how to live and I taught him how to let go" -Ciera
Book 2 ✰✰✰✰ This book centers around Madalynne and Parker. These two go through hell and back to figure out what they want in life and from each other. It seemed like every time I turned the page they were plunging into something that would make or break their relationship. All in all it was a good story and I did like being able to see what the infamous relationship of the two was like, and to see that things were not as perfect for them as it seemed in the first book.
Book 3✰✰✰ This book is centered round Lee and Jacqueline, And boy do these two have some issues in the beginning. This story is alll about loving and learning to let go of the fear of rejection and being hurt, just so you can open yourself up enough to take the plunge.
Book 4 ✰✰✰✰ This was a close 2nd for my favorite book in the series. It is centered around Avery and Austyn. It is all about loving deeply and going the distance to be with the one you love. These two truly go through hell and back in their relationship and still come out on top. I love it!
Although these books are part of a series, and in my opinion to get the full effect should be read that way, each is a standalone and can be read separately. Happy reading!!
The best way to have a favorite series is to have them all in one spot!! I love the box-set, I love the new covers, the updates, the re-format and the subtle changes. The author takes a series of books that the reader LOVES and somehow, someway, makes them better! I love being able to go straight to the box set to re-read these books! I love that I fell in love with the characters, and the series even more because of the re-read that I did of them all together in one place!
The author weaves a tale that the reader can't help but love. They zoom through the pages so quickly that they can't even feel the passing of time. The reader becomes immersed in the world that the author creates and quickly forgets about the real life responsibilities that they have. Be prepared to not want to stop once you get started.
This author has long been a favorite and a few minutes into these books and I remember why. This is an amazing series that sticks with the reader long after they have finished reading the books. This is the book hangover of all hangover's and it is one that the reader will enjoy (mostly). Don't hesitate to grab this set and move it straight to the top of your TBR list - you won't be sorry, they are going to be one of your favorite books!

Before settling in to read this, I suggest getting as comfy as possible, grabbing your favorite drink, and a big box of tissues. These stories are raw, beautiful, emotional, and pull no punches. Of course, I read the warning in the blurb - that the stories wouldn't be pretty and would likely break my heart, but I didn't actually expect it to happen. I cried, I smiled, I laughed, and my heart broke more times than I thought it could. This was an absolutely amazing, emotional experience. I'm sitting here, typing this, still reeling from the emotional roller coaster that comes with how immersed you become once you start reading these stories. A wonderful read that I will be adding to my read again list.
I read all five books individually I love this series. They are all stand alone novels but are connected. To understand the stories as a whole collection i suggest reading them in order so you can understand the back story. Kira Adams is an amazing author who never disappoints me.
I have received an ARC copy of this box set in exchange of an honest review.
Learning to Life: (5 STARS) This book will seriously make you cry. It's a perfect ugly crier. Good girl, that is shy, bullied and has a problem that no one can't solve. Even if they tried. And then we have him. A bad boy, bored with his current life, having meaningless relationship for looks only. In here we meet Ciera. Poor girl, that has a tough life at home and at school. Even though she has a loving mother and loving siblings, lack of funds can seriously make you miserable. She is an excellent student, even though she is also working part time at local cinema. She is good, kinds and helpful. Never fights anyone or for herself. And that's why she is being bullied. Even if she doesn't want to she falls for Topher. A bad, rich boy, who never had to worry about material things. For him only looks and how his peers saw him, were important. He didn't care about anything. Even about his best friend and his girlfriend going behind his back. But once an ugly truth is revealed and he starts talking to ciera, everything changes. They both do. I have to admit. I HATED Topher. I wanted to kick his butt so many times, but as story graduated I started to love him. Love his feeling and affection towards Ciera. Their story broke my heart. And the ending made wanting MORE.Amazing story!
My Forever: (4 STARS) I don't know how I'm feeling about this story. I loved Maddy in Learning to Live. She was that sweet girl, that wanted to help gain confidence bullied Ciera. But in here? I didn't like her that much. She was way to selfish for me. And she jumped into arms of a another man way too quickly for me. In this part we meet Maddy and Parker. A perfect couple. They were best friends at the beginning and then they started dating, once Maddy decided to try dating someone else as Parker was not seeing her as something else than a friend. The story begins with Maddy family receiving news about death in service of her older brother, who was also her best friend. Someone she looked up to. She was devastated and tried to push away everyone. Including Parker, who was persistent and fought for in situations where I would simply slap her and dump her straight away. They were a cute couple, but for me sometimes Parker was to persistent and let Maddy push him too much. I couldn't understand why she acted as she did. I can understand that family problems, death of sibling can be hard, but not to such excessive! especially when Parker had done the same thing, when he lost his brother. i thought she would learn from that, when she was the one being pushed away. Even though I really liked the story. I liked Lee and Jacqueline. I think they played a major role in Maddy's and Parker's life, making them better.
Beautifully Broken: (5 STARS) I really liked this story! I loved Jacqueline, how she fought after meeting Lee to be a better person. And I really liked Lee, when he decided to help her. This part tells us a story of Lee and Jac. Both dumped by Maddy and Parker in previous part. Both Broken. Lee was broken not only by Maddy, but also by a tragedy that happened long time ago, when his only love, has been killed in a car accident. This changed him forever. He started drinking and hooking-up with almost every girl that was willing. And most of them were. The other party, Jacqueline. A broken young woman, who was forced to grow up quickly, with no support from her family. Father has left her and her mother at the worst time: when her mother got way too addicted to drugs. She was thrown into foster care system when she was 12. She only survived because she had her best friend with her: Travis. He helped her get through the worse, but she still couldn't trust him enough to tell him her worst secret. She thought that Parker will be the one, but she was wrong. After she met Lee, she was not sure what to expected. He was hot and the next minute he was cold. They had both up and downs, and sometimes they were more destructive for each other, but most of the times they were IT. I loved this story, because Kira has touched a subject that is really rarely touched.
Against All Odds: (5 STARS) I loved that Kira wrote Austyn and Avery's story! I was interested in their relationship, as I couldn't believe that they were that perfect couple without any problems. And I was partly glad that they HAD TO FIGHT for each other. We meet Avery and Austyn briefly on previous part, were they are pictured as the perfect couple, that never fights and always are having their back. But wrong it is! I was so heartbroken, when I learned about their struggles. It was so real, but I was glad they managed to work everything between themselves and stayed together. In overall I give 5 stars for the whole box set. It was an amazing read. Heartbreaking, frustrating, funny and making you realise that true love is worth fighting for.
Kira has written another amazing story, that's packed full of emotion. LTL has made me smile and laugh, its made me feel hurt and anger, its touched my heart (well torn it out and shredded it into tiny little pieces) and made me cry too (when I say cry I mean ugly cry). Kira has managed to suck me into the very heart of this beautiful story so that when I finished reading I felt as though I was leaving behind friends not just characters. I have thoroughly enjoyed every last page of LTL. So what are you waiting for go grab yourself a box of tissues and a copy of Learning To Live!
My Forever.
My Forever is packed full of angst, grief, confusion, turmoil and love, all of which are very powerful emotions. Kira has done a fantastic job of capturing and conveying that emotion. The characters are faced with and deal with some very real issues and situations. I think that they handle and cope with them extremely well. I loved the plot, I'm not a fan of love triangles but I felt that the two intertwining triangles used in My Forever were necessary and they work, they add to the plot. Kira has done an outstanding job at conveying the strength of the emotions that the characters experience, to the point that I too could feel the emotion as if it were my own.
Beautifully Broken.
The synopsis for Beautifully Broken called to me. Obviously after reading My Forever I had to read this, but even before I read My Forever I knew I had to read Beautifully Broken. I was intrigued to see if or how Lee and Jacqueline might work, I mean they really are complete opposites, but they seem to bring out the best in each other too. I have really enjoyed the fact that for these two it wasn't love at first sight, they spent time getting to know one another and built a friendship before attempting to take things further. It was also a change to see that the lead male was showing a more vulnerable side; as Lee kept backing away before realising that he needs Jacqueline. Beautifully Broken deals with some very real issues that a lot of people face and live with, I think that Kira has handled these topics fantastically and sensitively. The raw emotion have been captured and portrayed brilliantly, I felt as though I was experiencing them along with Jacqueline and Lee. Beautifully Broken is a fantastic book full of love, hurt and anger but it also has the power to give hope too! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Beautifully Broken and I'm looking forward to the next installment in this series.
Against All Odds.
The way in which Kira has written Against All Odds is fantabulous. The way she has handled the less enjoyable aspects of life is awesome. Kira has done an outstanding job of sensitively portraying a life changing situation and issues that do affect real people too.
There is so much emotion in Against All Odds, and I felt every last ounce of it, all the love, anger, betrayal and happiness. Against All Odds has made me laugh, cry, scream and shout, it has taken me to the edge of a cliff and had me hanging on the very edge before slowly pulling me back.
Everything about this book had me hooked and I was hanging on every word. When I finished reading Against All Odds I felt as though I was saying goodbye to friends not just characters in a book. This book; well this series; definitely has a place in my heart and is definitely one my favourite series's I have read in 2014!! Kira Adams has earned her way onto my list of all time favourite authors.
4 couples who each have a heart wrenching, emotional story.
Book 1: Learning to live says everything In its title. Ciera is the underdog at her high school. She's the girl that everyone looks down on or simply dotes as invisible. Topher is king of the school based on money status and being a football player. He's usually one of the top 3 that makes Ciara's high school life hell. When 2 paths cross unexpectedly ciera helps topher find himself and truly live life. This story has so much emotion and feeling you get sucked in after the 1st chapter. It feels as though your lives are entangled with these characters. You feel their emotions as if they were your own.
Book 2: In My Forever Madelyn & Parker are your all american couple! High school sweathearts who have been together since middle school! She was the one madly in love with him and he was the one that was too blind to see it! After finally getting together I believe they go through a lot more trails than what some normal couples go through. But it's seeing how they react to them that makes this book so amazing. It focuses on real issues with people and couples now a days. This was a great book!
Book 3: Beautifully Broken
"we had such a strange history and story" - Jacqueline
"You'll see...Im going to be your knight in shining armor" - lee
2 unlikely souls meet and unknown to them they have strong feelings for each other. I loved reading ever minute of this story.
Book 4: Against All Odds follows Austyn (lees cousin) & her boyfriend Avery. They are your typical couple with some added flare. He's a web designer by day and a karaoke, instrument playing, closet singing on the weekends. She's a radio host that has a lot of insecurities due to ex boyfriends. After dating for about 6 years their love and relationship is put to the test when Avery is in an accident where he is left in a coma. Austyn & Avery both learn that you have to kind of live in the moment because tomorrow is not promised.
This series is one that will leave you wanting more! I couldn't put the books down! I wish I would have picked them up sooner! Each story is heart felt and you get sucked in. You go through every emotion with the characters! If you haven't read this yet you definitely need to!
I received a copy from the author, in exchange for an honest review.
Learning to Live: One word. Heartbreaking. I loved and hated reading Topher and Ciera's story. It made me smile, laugh, and cry. A beautiful story of an "average" girl who tries to stay invisible but one day she fails to escape the popular boy's eyes. Through the highs and lows of their relationship, both Ciera and Topher learn how to love and live. If you have read the Bright Side by Kim Holden, I think you would enjoy this story too. It is a tear-jerker but well worth it.
My Forever: Wow! Kira truly has a way with words! I wanted to slap Parker and Madalynne at times but this was a good book. The story seemed so real. The book was very relatable since situations like this do happen all the time. I've had friends experience this, but in the end they got their "happily ever afters" like Parker and Madalynne did.
Beautifully Broken: What a great book! Just when I think I couldn't fall in love with the characters from the previous book, I fell in love with Lee. Jaci and Lee are perfect together. I truly admire this story and the strength that Kira wrote Lee with. This story holds very true to many real stories of people struggling with being bipolar and their relationships. This is not just your normal love story it is something people can relate to more and see that not every relationship is perfect and wonderful. Each relationship takes work from both sides! I loved this book.
Against All Odds: I was so happy that Austyn and Avery had their own book! I loved getting to know them a bit in the previous book but learning their story in Against All Odds was even better. Kira definitely keeps their relationship real and describes the hardships that couples in real life do or may face in their lifetime. I was heartbroken over Austyn at times as well as Avery. I admire the strength that Austyn wielded throughout her journey regardless of not being able to forsee the future. Although there were some struggling times, Austyn and Avery never gave up hope; they loved each other "to the moon and back" and "to the sun and back".
Wow! This is a treat, four books in one!! Firstly, Learning to Live... Completely slayed me. Absolutely beautiful with characters that seemed real, like I was right there with them. The central characters are Topher (Cool name right!) and Ceira. Be warned, ugly cry on the horizon! Next is My Forever... This is about Maddy and Parker who are mentioned in Learning to live, this is their story and while overall I loved these characters, there are times you just wanna smack them! That being said they are teenagers, so I'll give them their learning curve :) Next is Beautifully Broken... Once again these characters are mentioned in the last book, this is Jacquie and Lee's chapter and these characters are brilliant, Jacquie more than Lee personally but both are pieces of the same puzzle. Beautiful story and I personally am glad of their HEA :) Lastly Against all odds.. Title pretty much speaks for itself. These are Avery and Austyn once again mentioned in previous books ( just as a sideline I love that you can keep track of the others while reading about the characters we've already met) this is a heartbreaking story as is the first book, soul mates who have to overcome a big obstacle, but who have no choice but to stand by one another because they love each other fiercely. Excellent series!! Thank you Kira Adams ;)
I give 5 stars with absolutely no doubt at all, every single book in this series is without a doubt worth the read. Learning to Live- Ciera and Topher, WOW is my word for this book, an amazing story, and be warned definitely and ugly cry book.
My Forever- Maddy and Parker, You will alter between love and hate for both these characters at some point through the story, but in the end will love them both without a doubt.
Beautifully Broken- Jacqueline and Lee, Having first met these two characters previously you know a little something of them already and know they both have a lot to deal with in past and present, and in this story you will see them Happy
Against all Odds- Austyn and Avery, You met this pair briefly before too, and now it's time for their story, boy is it a tough one, they have a tough battle to get through, but it seems they continue to fight.
All these stories are amazing and must be read, and for me Learning to Live is definitely my favourite, Kira is an absolutely fantastic author, and I have fallen in learn with her work completely since finding her recently and of course and now read all her books, I really hope you enjoy reading her work as much as I.
So the first book in the series really hooked me in (I mean, all of the books technically did, but you know what I meeeeaann). It got to the point and just the right amount of things were introduced at the right time.
This entire story grew. The characters all grew, the change grew, and it all grew on me. It hurt me, it made me smile, it made me want to throw my iPad across the room... You can pretty much feel almost every type of emotion throughout this series!
If I had the chance to read this entire story all over again with no prior knowledge, I totally would! This series teaches many meaningful and worthy lessons as well as give you the immense pleasure these worlds/stories that Adams has so gracefully written. I can't wait to read more from her!!
I am a huge fan of Kira Adams and am over the moon that these 4 books are now available in one. All of the plots feature complicated love stories that will make you laugh, make you cry and will absolutely stay with you for a very long time after you have read them. Everyone I know that has read My Forever, Beautifully Broken, Against All Odds and Learning to Live has fallen in love with all of the characters included. My personal favourites are Maddy and Parker, but that's not to say that the others aren't amazing!
I was so lucky to come across this series.. It really tugs on your heart strings at times.. All the characters and their chemistry is so awesome. You have to get this series while its free.. Kira is an amazing writer and person.. What are you waiting for?
Learning to Live 4 out of 5 stars This book was shocking for me. I didn't know how the story was going to go when I started and it threw me for a little loop. I was not prepared for the ugly cry aspect, but managed to maintain my emotions for the most part.
Ciera and Topher are about as opposite as you can get in high school. She’s the quiet poor girl and he’s the popular football star. He’s even been her bully for years, but something clicks in his brain and he starts to see her in a new way. In fact, Topher was kind of jerk in the beginning of the novel and not someone I looked forward to reading a whole book about...he quickly changed my opinion and when he opened his heart to Ciera, I fell hard for the boy!
There were many times in this book when I really felt what the characters were feeling. I feel Ms Adams took a difficult topic and handled it with grace and in a way I found refreshing. There was a little glossing over things that I would have liked to have delved deeper into, but overall these characters stole my heart and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Because despite the sadness in this novel, there is an underlying feeling of hope and love that everyone truly wishes they could find for themselves.
Life After 4 out of 5 stars
I loved that in this book Topher stayed true to the wishes of Ciera. Even though you know his love for her was so strong and deep, he didn’t quit living and give up. He went on to college and lived his life.
He wasn’t really looking for a new girl, but when Destiny steps into his path, he can’t fight his feelings. Destiny is definitely not looking for love, but she can’t deny that Topher pulls her in and makes her want to see what the good life could be like.
Even as Destiny keeps trying to push him away, Topher stays strong in his opinion that there is a connection between them and kept pushing right back at her.
This story had me in tears almost as much as Learning to Live because I was so happy to see Topher moving forward and Destiny’s life is definitely one that is shocking and heartbreaking. There was sadness and fear in this book, but once again, I couldn’t help but find the hope. Ms Adams did a wonderful job of telling a story so different from the other. I enjoyed this journey.
My Forever 3 out of 5 stars
Madalynne & Parker are supposed to be high school sweethearts who are forever together. This book was a struggle for me to read honestly. Maddy felt like a co-dependent leech who wasn’t able to see outside of herself while Parker was stringing along an online relationship that he denied was significant.
There are moments in this book when I felt the romance and the love between these two. Once when Parker reconnects with Maddy, he explains to her how much she means to him and this quote had me weak in the knees:
“I’m not giving up on you. I’m not giving up on us,” I replied softly, stroking her hair. “You’re my other half; the peanut butter to my jelly; the yin to my yang. You, and only you, complete me…”
Though I could see the potential for this story, there was just some unnecessary drama created at times and some of the writing seemed forced. I enjoyed the other two books, but after this one, I just couldn’t finish the book. Maybe one day I’ll come back to it and read the other stories as well.
This was an awesome series! Each book is so packed full of emotion and great writing, I loved it! Book 1 is Learning to Live, it was by far my favorite book in the series, and it the end broke my heart. Ciera is a shy girl who is just trying to make it through high school by being invisible. The other kids are mean to her because she’s “different” and one member of the gang of torturers is Topher. It takes Topher witnessing Ciera’s torture from afar before he realizes what an ass he and his friends have been and once he gets to know Ciera he begins to fall in love. Then he finds out Ciera’s secret and both of their lives change forever. The end will have you weeping but also highly anticipative of the next book. The next book, My Forever, was probably my least favorite. I felt that it was rushed and I was left with more questions unanswered than answered. Destiny has had a rough past with her parents being killed when she was a child and having been raised by her drug lord uncle. By 14 Destiny herself was part of the drug life and as an adult she’s had to turn her uncle in to gain her freedom. Now her uncle has been murdered and the men who he left owing money too are coming after Destiny for his debt. Destiny is the first woman in years to elicit emotion from Topher since Ciera’s death and they fall in love pretty quickly, meaning that Topher will do anything to help keep Destiny safe. Book 3, Beautifully Broken, was almost as fantastic as book one! This is Lee and Jacqueline much darker story. I hated Jacqueline at the beginning of this book but luckily the author redeems her by the first quarter and once you understand her she’s more loveable. I see the growth of the author with this one and really enjoyed it. Book 4, Against All Odds, once again a fantastic read. I enjoyed that this read was a bit more steamy than the previous books, it made it that much more awesome. Avery and Austin have been together for years and Austyn is ready to get married but Avery doesn’t understand why he’s insisting on a “piece of paper” bonding them. When tragedy strikes both of their views on life change and they begin to appreciate one another so much more.

Review of The Infinite Love Series (Infinite Love #1-4) by Kira Adams
Review done for Hooked on Books
4 ½ out of 5 stars
The Infinite Love Series is a compilation of 5 wonderful books.
The first is Learning to Live, which is the story of Ciera and Topher. This one was my favorite but just a warning; get the tissues ready, I cried through most of the book. This was a beautiful story that covered many issues, including bullying, death, and being gay. The author did a fantastic job with this book!
Book 2, Life After, continues Topher’s story, beginning when he is in college. In this book, we are introduced to Destiny. This book was ok but I just didn’t really care for Destiny. I loved Topher and was really hoping he could find love again. I just couldn’t connect with Destiny and didn’t really feel their connection.
Book 3, My Forever, tells the story of Madalynne and Parkers’ love story. This one was great but Madalynne left me a little frustrated. I don’t know if I could have been as understanding. The author takes us through the ups and downs of trying to figure out what you want in life as a young adult.
Book 4, Beautifully Broken, is the story of Lee and Jacqueline. Mental health issues are always hard to portray and write about but I think Kira Adams did a great job at giving us a first hand look into how hard live is when you suffer from a mental disorder. This book showed us that everyone deserves love and that no one is perfect.
The last book of the series, Against All Odds, is about Austyn and Avery. These two characters were quite unique, I really liked them. This book showed us that we should never take our love ones for granted because life can change in the blink of an eye and you may never get a second chance.
I definitely recommend this series to read. It is crucial to read all of them in order to get the full impact of the stories and to fully understand the characters.
Amazing series! Each book is so unique and that is what i love most about this series. Sometimes you read a series and it feels like you reading the same story but with like changes, not so in this series. This series showed Kira Adams range in writing skills and was impressed! This is an author that i am glad i found!
Learning to Live (Infinite Love #1) Not too many books will make me cry, this one did. Amazing storyline from the start, you are just pulled in. The characters in this book are well written and the whole story is awesome. This is a great ugly cry novel!
My Forever (Infinite Love #2) Another awesome read by Kira Adams! I am really enjoying the Infinite Love series. What I like the most is that each book is uniquely written but still using characters within the series. My Forever is a completely different read from Learning to Live ( book 1) which I loved and I loved this one too. I like that Kira Adams is taking a different approach for each book in this series. My Forever is a happier read with drama and romance!
Beautifully Broken (Infinite Love #3) I loved this book! This is by far my favorite of Kira Adams books so far! It is more of a dark romance but it does have a few lol moments. I really enjoyed reading Lee's and Jacqueline's story. I love Jacqueline and her beautifully broken ways and seeing what she goes through in life makes you want everything to come together for her but you will have to read this amazingly written book to see the outcome!
Against All Odds (Infinite Love #4) Another 5 star read for Kira Adams! I don't think I can get enough of her books! Once again she sucks you into her awesome story telling and you don't want it to end. This time around she's added a little more spice and it was the perfect amount!
Book 1 in this boxed set was one that had me cheering on the underdog. A story of the shy not well liked girl in high school coming out of her shell and finding her place. What happens to bring her to do this and what it leads to is one that had me an emotional wreck. I loved the story of Sierra and Topher.
Book 2 left me wanting a little more. I found myself following along with the story of Maddie and Parker and found myself not liking Maddie as much as I did in book 1. I wish that the interactions that Maddie had with Sierra in Book 1 had been told from Maddie's perspective in this book. I was a little disappointed that there was not a mention of Sierra and what Maddie did to help her even mentioned in this book.
Book 3 was one that really surprised me. To be the ones left behind and hurt in Maddie and Parker's story to then come together and form something surprising was a refreshing change to the sadness in the first two books. As much as Lee and Jacqueline needed each other their story is a unique one.
Book 4 was one that took me by surprise. Not really intertwined with the the others but a side story all it's own. I was glad to see that some of the interactions we had heard from Lee in book 3 were told in the perspective of Austyn and brought more depth into the interactions.
All together I really enjoyed this box set. I love the continuing stories that are all intertwined. Linking them with the more than one perspective on some of the situations would have made it more in depth in my opinion but it is still a great story!
4 Stars Overall This is a boxed set that contains 4 companion novels. I know I should have rated them each separately but since I read the whole thing back to back I'm going to give you guys an overall review of the books. We have heartbreak (don't forget your tissues if you dive into this set), grief, loss, illness, mental health issues.. But we also have hope, balance, understanding, courage... they are pretty well rounded stories, each on their own right. My favorite was Learning to Live. It delivers a powerful and hopeful message that will break your heart but that's how life works sometimes... no sugar coating. The other that resonated with me was Beautifully Broken.. most likely because it deals with mental health and I'm currently going through something simmilar with a loved one.. So it got to me in a good and bad way.. The writing style its fluid and easy to get lost in.. like I said I read them back to back and it wasn't a burden at all... It was surprising how fast I was reading them. The characters are relatable and realistic in some ways even when they rub you wrong with some of their attitudes and decissions. And the romance is sweet, real, and heart breaking.. This is a set of books that I would recommend to fans of YA and New Adult who are looking for something with an impact. I received a free copy of this boxed set in exchange for an honest opinion.
My heart is breaking, but not for what you think. I really appreciate how the author showed us that you can move on from things that you never thought possible. I really don't like sad books but I love books where the author lets you read about real life. And to me this book deals with real life problems and I couldn't ask for a better book to get my heart pumping faster. Come and take a journey with Ciera and Toper .The other characters are great also.HAPPY READING EVERYONE.
When Kira told me she had a box set coming out of the complete infinite love series i was more than happy to read and review for her. I fell in love with learning to live again the first book in the series. Topher and keira will steal your heart! So I was excited to read (and alittle bit scared!) to know what happened next for Topher. I can tell you, its a journey! And I was happy with how in ended for him.
Each book in the series deals with some tough topics and the author doesn't shy away from hitting me right in the heart. Grief, loss and heartbreak are hard to write about but the author did a great job of making me feel. There's also plenty of angst, suspense and drama to keep me on my toes.
Each book can be read as a standalone even though the characters are interconnected.
All of them had strong heroines and swoon worthy heroes, but I do still think my heart lies with learning to live! ❤
No offense to anyone who enjoyed this book is intended.
Sooo I read book one of this series and was expecting some really cute love story. That is not what this was.
The first line of the book really repulsed me. I mean, I understood that it was an adult book and everything, but you did not need to tell me I feel that books that are practically centered on mean spoiled guys who center their world upon smex are not too good. All I can really say is meh.
This box set is a steal at only 99¢ If you're looking for a realistic contemporary romance than look no further! My favorite thing about each of the stories in this box set is that they deal with real life issues. Things like depression, suicide, dealing with loss, and just growing up in general. Adams has a way of taking these tough subjects and weaving something truly beautiful out of them. Each of these stories are an emotional rollercoaster ride, in their own unique ways, and you don't want to miss this ride!
