This book is beyond any positive review I could possibly write, I’ve tried to select some quotes from it, but I found myself selecting the whole book as a favorite content. It exceeds all my expectations, and to be honest it said all what I hoped to say one day, and every word I was unable to rephrase or confess with to my loved one. Salutations Mr. Amari for this great work, and my deep warm salutations for all the good men and women out there, you all deserve better, be a better human for the sake of your and your partner’s goodness. To my loved woman, I’ll say it and show it to you, once we meet again isA. Allah, my GOD; make it soon.

I'm in my quarter life crisis and I don't need shit from this book!

https://static1.squarespace.com/static/555cf304e4b03ac805920d0f/t/56b2e2ed01dbae7dc58d3779/1454564091068/

I was really compelled to read this because there have been a number of requests of this book in our local bookstores. This is a self-help book for those who are in a relationship and for those who are looking for one and wants some guidance as to how being in a mutual relationship is all about. I have nothing against this book, I mean yeah, a lot of things written here are really helpful for those people who seem to have no idea what they are getting into.

To be honest I already know most of the things I've read here, If you have been in a few relationships, I'm sure you already felt what true love is, or not or you're able to distinguish what kind of people suits you more, I'm sure you've been hurt, made mistakes and learned from them. I'm sure you're well enough without this book, just keep doing what you're doing because the thing about it is that it tends to be pretentious not everything about it is true, not everything about it reflects every man or woman because we are different people, we react and deal with things differently. This book in my opinion seems to generalize every action and mistakes of a person and the meaning under those situations are more often than not true but some situations in relationships are more complex than the simpler reasons Mr. Amari Soul is giving us. But the thing is, you don't necessarily follow them just because the book says so, It's there to help you but it sure did not help me, there isn't a thing in this book that I don't already know.

I will only be recommending this book to people who are new to relationships and to people who are lost in their relationships. I'm sure this book will give you answers. ;)

Reflection of a man

القسم الثاني للرجل يسمى from one man to another

Good publicity, too many sponsored posts and creative writing(Like literally creative with italics and all) brought me this book. This is a very easy and light read. I actually read it in one sitting.

See? Who wouldn't be curious on a book with a strong introductions like that? Turns out, those weren't introductions but are seriously the content of a whole page. And I thought, wow, this book is too costly considering the number of words it contains.

The book contains advises for women on how to not settle in any less from a man, advises for men to be a better man for his woman and advises for partners on how to have a long and lasting relationship - considering it's that easy.

Overall, it's an Okay read. I had issues with it. But I think in the long run, I would like to recommend this book to young girls who have been left and broken by assholes and douchebags I think that this will eventually help them out to find their self-worth. I wouldn't recommend this book however to my friends who literally reads their whole life because I think the poor attempt to poetry and very plain and bland writing might distract them and would eventually end up not liking the book like I did.

This book is divided into 3 parts: For woman, for man and for both.

Part 1 puts woman to lift her standards and settle for nothing less from a man
Part 2 is directed to men on how to raise yourself up to that standard
Part 3 touches more on how to maintain the intimacy between both partners

To be honest, I personally think that this book is more targeted towards the broken-hearted and ill-fated relationship. And it covers the topics well for the targeted audience and helps you to carry yourself and move on.

Thus, it makes a great reading for singles planning to start a relationship or those in pre-marital relationship with no commitment attached, as you can always simply walk away from the person you feel not the right one.

However, for married couples, termination of marriage puts too much at stake and a different approach is needed to save whatever is left. Not to judge, but I have a sense that the author is unmarried and had gone through a bad relationship in the past. The author encourages more of termination of relationship rather than to talk, discuss and sort things out between the 2 lovers.

Nonetheless, perhaps the words are a little to harsh upon men, I would still recommend this book as a reading for my sisters and daughters so they may realize their self worth, prepare themselves on what to expect from a decent man, and accept nothing less.

Reflections Of A Man by Amari Soul is a very inspiring read for both men and women. It gives lesson for us to be inspired about. I am really speechless after I read this, the weird thing was – I really felt energized and enlightened while devouring this book.

All the things Mr. Amari Soul wrote were really a quotable worthy.

One thing that I just noticed that there were repeated sayings in the book. All in all, it still an inspirational book to read.

With a big heart I gave it 3 stars. (Actually it's 2.55)

Coming to the book

-Quick read
- Good
-Not my type
-Beautifully composed
- I like the writing style, don't get me wrong, I'm talking about the italic writing style of quotations.
- Impressive cover

Let me highlight the basic pattern of the book.
In every chapter you have to go through this
1. One topic
e.g.
The cost of love
●○•°•○●
2. A beautiful quotation
( related to the topic)
3. Explanation
4. Notes (your homework) ___________________________________________________________________________

That's how the whole book is written, with advices, advices & advices to men, women and to both.

& then Mr.Amari said he's not a love guru, (sorry to say but the way he's addressing it seems like he's a love guru.)

I know one thing whenever someone is in love or whenever any relationship is at the verge of break up, no one could remember these advices.

An inspiring book which revealed many truths, I found myself screaming, "THAT'S SO TRUE!' or "YES YES YES' but there were some things attributed to male behaviour that I had in fact done myself.

I did kind of feel like it ultimately provided an unrealistic view of what love is as the focus is primarily on the treatment of women. For a more wholistic view it would have been nice to see what was thought about the treatment of men.

I think it does much more for female empowerment than a broken heart. After this not only did it confirm how much I invested myself into someone else but how I'd complete lost who I was and what I was no longer willing to take. I wish I could just frame most of these quotes for my wall.

Welcome to the book of quotes heavily marketed in Facebook. From page 1 to the end , the book conveys that every woman should realise her worth and never settle for a man below her worth. It indirectly implies that fall of every relation happens because of men who don't treat women right. The book is full of quotes on how a man should be Princess Charming like and romantic to keep a woman happy. It misses out on a lot of things like the scenarios where women are responsible for the downfall of a relationship.
Many women, especially those who are in right after breakup or rejection phase may find this as a comforting book. But, the book doesn't really convey the truth "He's just not that into you". It sugarcoats the situation to make the woman feel she deserves better, which also means sour grapes in certain scenarios.
I would have been a fan of the flowery quotes if I has read this book a while back. But, it is just a book written to please female readers and up their morale. The advice given to men, is 90% impractical. All men are not Prince Charmings.
This book is an example of how posting quotes in Facebook can increase sales.

I read it, This writer is a novice, that is pellucid. Vocabulary is none existent and passages are repetitive with abundant use of cliche, disregard to sentence formation and punctuation are some of her striking errors. Though the writer claims that he's a man and so is his pseudonym, but his writing style, as well as his perspective towards life, is that of a woman. Some might argue that the writer could be a feminist, writing particularly for women, but the picture she (sorry I can't picture her as a man) painted is that of a woman who needs to be advised by the more experienced ones, and what her rights are. Why would a man go to such lengths just to tell what his obligations are and not a word about his rights? So this is the work of a woman. Her main focus is that she shouldn't be blamed, not get mad on, and not to keep your expectations high from her but she has the right to all the afore said things. Well, are we dealing with a psychic patient or a woman?
Her poetry (I'm not sure it's poetry) is just too plain (I don't want to use a harsh word). She rhymes 'you' with 'you', Even William Herondale's comic poetry in Cassandra Clare's The Infernal Devices is better (which according to Cassandra is not a top notched one but I found it amusing and perfect)
Though the writer has written this book with good intentions but I found it rather drab and lacking substance. Those who are depressed should not read it, it will make them gloomy neither should those who are happy it will make them gloomy anyway. The reason I say this is that this book has lots of empty pages to fill your gloomy thoughts with. Just who would want to do that? Rather than forgetting and shunning them it asks you to dwell on them. This book is not my recommendation.

Very uplifting and inspirational.

Although I myself have yet to have a real romantic relationship, I can understand and relate to a lot of the passages in this book. I can also see it being more helpful and uplifting to those who have had bad experiences with relationships.

I would like to think I know what I deserve and what I want and what I also should be willing to give in a healthy relationship but this book certainly solidified some things for me as well as enlightened me on others.

There seemed to be a heavy sense of female empowerment in this book, which is fabulous but I think the man in a healthy relationship should be treated just as equally. Which the book does not disapprove that at all, I just found it didn't have much towards a man's emotional needs as a woman's; but it does have some. And the way I look at it is that a lot of what I read in this book that a man should do for a woman, a woman should also do for a man but I think this book implies that.

The author of this book must have a wonderful, loving heart and soul and anyone, man or woman, should aspire to be just as insightful, loving, soulful, and intuitive to their significant other.

Some of the later passages read like poetry to me and overall, it's a beautiful and inspiring book. Love, love, love.

There are also so many quotes and passages that I plan to reread over and over again.

3.7 Rating.

This book comprises of lots of Relationship Tips for Both men and Women.
The language was Lucid , the author put forward his thoughts and opinions in a neat and simple manner.
Authors who usually write books about relationships often beat around the bush and fail to hold the readers interest. But, Amari Soul was so Clear in his messages and the tips that he offered were crisp, clear, thought provoking and Useful.
One must read every topic slowly and try to understand what the author is trying to convey instead of just flipping the pages by reading fast.

Reading such tips and guide is never hard, but Following them is !

I first found out about Reflections of A Man when I was scrolling in my Facebook and saw a sponsored post by Mr. Amari Soul promoting his book through highlighting a quote from it. Advertising done right.

I was moved by his words. This guy sure knows about how a woman thinks and feels. Well not literally but figuratively. He must have done a good observation with women, I presume. And to read about his reflections about men added my knowledge about how they should think and move while pursuing a woman.

While reading the first part I felt like someone was tugging a string directly in my chest pulling it hard and so much that it really really hurts. Amari caught me right there.

“You can measure the true strength of a man by how well he controls others, but you measure his true power by how well he controls himself.”

I actually really enjoyed this "book". It's really refreshing and so easy to read with it's amazing tiny quotes and the short but powerful description of the author about the topic that this quote touch. After awhile it does have a certain pattern and the things start to blur and look all the same, but the advices are good and helpful at some situations.
I can't say that they are always true due to certain circumstances though.
But overall it's a really good and helpful read.

I’ll be your breath when you
cannot breathe…I’ll be all you’ll ever need.
Through the good times and the bad,
through the happy times and the sad,
though I’ll sometimes make you mad…I’ll be the best
friend you’ve ever had.

It says it all. The give, the take, the understanding, the equilibrium.

We all have a moment of doubt. Even if we know we are right, we wonder if we might wrong.
This is when you should reference this book. This book will inspire you to think for yourself, for your man (woman).

I will keep in touch. Thank you author for collecting these mental notes in whole.

Absolutely loved this book! I wish I would have known about it sooner. It would have saved me a lot of headaches. I'm not a big reader either, but this book was different. Very easy to follow and straight to the point. You don't have to sit and read for thirty minutes to finally understand what point the author is trying to get across. Pick a topic, any topic, and in 5 minutes you know!

Dear Men :
whoever wondered “What women want?” , here comes the answer in less than 269 pages !

Dear Women :
Whoever wondered about her “standards”

Dear merely couples :
If you find it is not too late to save the relationship ,
this is a brief capsule to make it work , or just give up on it.

It was the best book I've ever read about relationships, men and women's perspectives.
I can say only one thing about this book: Perfect!

Edit: I saw some interesting comments about this book. So I need to say something. If you have never met a 'wrong man' and had a good relationship, you cannot understand this book clearly. That's very normal and happy for you. However, if you met with a wrong man who is mentioned in the book, you find yourself and your memories in the every single line in this book. So I wan't to say thank you to Mr. Amari Soul to explain wrong relationships, the key points of relationships and help to feel better myself.

Caved in because of the hype about this, especially from girls on Facebook. Bought the ebook and read it in one sitting today. I still don't know how I feel about it. It had its good points, I must agree, but it just didn't make me FEEL anything. I think there are a lot of things lacking. I read page one and already thought "Okay. This is good. A man uplifting women by teaching men how they should treat women and making women realize how they should be treated." But I want it the other way around? *sighs* It's hard to explain. I feel like I had such high expectations for the book. But anyway, it was still a nice read!

Why would anyone rate this collection of crappy and dumb old facebook quotes so high??

I don't know how or why I came across this book but when I started reading this I instantly knew this was pure feminist crap... And then... Just for fun... I kept reading it.. :D

So, if you're a good/okay person and not an asshole there is nothing new in this book for you.. The book should have started and ended with "Try not be an asshole". That's the gist of it.

Now I know I'm not the target audience ( strong, confident, overly sensitive and fragile woman :D :P ) for this book but I'd still leave a review just because I'm so tired of stupid people making all the men look bad without any strong arguments...

Now let's come to the real part and here it goes...

The only good thing about this book is that it's short and written in a language so simple that everyone can understand how pure fuckin shit this book is...

The guy is soooo biased and keeps bragging about how great the woman are without acknowledging a single thing that's wrong with them... It depicts them as PERFECT goddesses.. Not even a single fucking instant in the whole book where he states a fact or anything crucial to the argument of why he believes why they are perfect..

HOW COME EVERYTHING THAT'S WRONG WITH A RELATIONSHIP OR THE WHOLE WORLD IS BECAUSE OF MEN?? HOW??

Keeps justifying every petty detail that's wrong with woman and somehow twists and molds it in a way that it's the man's fault! (just like a woman :D )

The book is so full of conflicts that are hard to wrap your head around...One example.. Keeps saying stick to REALITY and then jumps back into stupid FANTASIES at the end with a whole section enforced by dumb cheesy poems...

When are people going to realize that this is exactly the kind of shit that promotes the "blame culture". The shit that promotes you standing in front of the mirror and saying "I am beautiful, I am strong" just so you could hide the fact that you won't accept a fact.. No beautiful person ever goes in front of the mirror and says that crap.. They just know they are..
It's making everyone so fragile and overly sensitive that they won't listen to the facts.. When did people start becoming so offended and sensitive to the hard truths..

GROW THE FUCK UP PEOPLE!!
TOUGHEN UP A LITTLE!!
And stop promoting shitty books like this!

Initial rating: 2 stars

This book is made of results googling "be yourself quotes" "strong woman quotes" and "self-worth quotes" merged together.

I saw quotes of this on social media quite a lot. I actually thought it was those quotes with a couple of paragraphs after. Some high quality motivation. Turns out it‘s just 240 pages of quotes, one a page, font size 476.
I guess the quotes are supposed to be made up by the author himself. I wish they were more original. I wish they would teach something more than the stuff you read on inspo insta accounts.

Ukh. Maybe I‘m too privileged to need those quotes to help me.
Then again I know awesome examples for non fictional/self-help books on topics that don‘t affect me at all, I love beyond words.
Unfortunately I can’t even find literary beauty here.

Guess this book is just shit not for me, even though I see why people might like it. Maybe.

Edit: Nah forget about the second star. I forgot to mention... this book contains all the wrong type of feminism. All these advices (let them be helpful or nah) might be given to men just as well. They, too, deserve only the best. They too can suffer from unhealthy relationships. They too can be emotionally and also physically abused. They too should never take second best.
I appreciate the few chapters you dedicated to men, Mr Soul, but I can‘t befriend the number of times you stated the women as the victims and the men as the wrong doers in here.
Unconditional, healthy and good love for all. Women and men. We can all do wrong, we can all do right.

Corrected and final rating: 1 star. Sorry not sorry.
