This full cast audio with music and singing is absolutely incredible! “What were you like before you became a mom? What were your dreams?” These are the questions that drive the personal film project for Katherine (Kat) Dempsey. She is a talented photographer and documentary film maker who completed the film program at University of Southern California. During a moment of cutting loose in college, she gets pregnant. Kat raises her son Tate, by herself with little support from the father. Currently, she is living with her mother in LA and her son Tate is age six.

Kat works nights at a coffee shop/diner so she can spend days with her son. She puts her career on hold to focus on family. Famous singer/songwriter Nico Todd walks into the diner and is immediately attracted to Kat. She knows who he is and his reputation as a ladies man, so she protects her heart and ignores him. He keeps coming back and trying to get her to go out with him. They run into each other outside of work and Kat starts to let him into her life. Nico is about to go on tour across the U.S. and decides to ask Kat to travel on the tour bus over the summer to create a behind-the-scenes documentary film about him. This is her dream come true – a chance to bring her career back to life! However, she can’t leave her son behind for that long. Nico invites Kat’s mom and son to attend the tour also. Their adventures are very entertaining, and the banter is so funny!

This is a heart-warming romance that acknowledges the challenges of a mom trying to have a full life without guilt, and a famous singer who has much more integrity and emotional depth than first believed. I fell in love with all of the characters and enjoyed the happily-ever-after!

🩷 I fell in love with this story and every character while listening to the audiobook 🥰 Jason Clarke and Emma Wilder, along with Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton, truly bring this story to life.

🎧 I honestly think Kayley Loring created the character of Nico just for Jason Clarke. When he sings, I smile (and often laugh)—the ease and lightheartedness between Nico and Kat really shine through. No matter the emotion, Clarke makes you feel it.

🎧 Wilder fits Kat’s personality perfectly. She delivers a strong portrayal of a single mom who constantly feels pulled in more than one direction. Still, Kat is a strong character with a determination flowing through her personality. I love it! Wilder captures it all.

🩷 The singing, songwriting, and love story between Nico and Kat along with the sense of a new found family made this such a great listen for me! I know I will be listening to this one again 🥰
