A short story in the “Seasons of Magic” world about Prince Thomas and his challenges of finding a cure for the illness that took his older sister.
“The crown on my head was seen as a prize rather than a responsibility.”
There is so much pressure on the second son to find a cure for the Quiet Death, and to help his younger brother with his mental illness. Thomas needs his family, a hug, and a new pair of glasses to see that beautiful ladies want to dance with him, not the knight in the corner.
I enjoyed this read, and I am excited to get my hands on Prince Thomas' full story with Lyra in “Princess of Curses & Croaks”.
