Sure, Harley and Ivy’s friendship warms to a romance, but Catwoman and millionaire Bruce Wayne go ice cold when Bruce attempts to define the relationship— wasn’t he supposed to be a playboy? And then there’s the matter of Black Canary’s bachelorette party, where the Sirens and the police commissioner’s daughter, Barbara Gordon, are all on the guest list. Tensions ride high…and Gotham’s most elusive serial killer, Horoscope, is happy to cut right through them. Literally.

Babs Tarr absolutely carries this one for me — the art is stylish, expressive, and just pops on every page. The character designs and panel work give the whole book a slick, almost neon Gotham vibe that fits Harley, Ivy, and Selina perfectly.

Story-wise though, it didn’t hit the same level. There are some fun moments and the character dynamics are solid, but the plot feels a bit scattered and never fully locks in. The mix of romance, humor, and the looming threat should work better than it does, but it ends up feeling more surface-level than impactful.

Glad I read it, but mostly for the visuals — hoping the finale brings a stronger payoff.

A combination of great, stylish art and fun dialogue make up this issue. The killer is making their move and things are getting intense.

*4.5* Throwing a fit on Barbara’s behalf because if my best friend tried to fire me from being maid of honor a couple months before the wedding for “security reasons” I’d do a lot more than say “well I already have a dress so you can’t fire me”, take my bf and leave the bachelorette party I planned for her!!!! However I’m still quite obsessed with the way that Barbara and Dick are a matched set in this series. He doesn’t need to appear for any reason, but we like him and he’s cute so we’re all glad he’s here anyway.
I really like seeing Harley and Ivy’s relationship take shape, but Bruce and Selina are less comprehensible. It was also cool to see some of Dinah and Ollie together.
As expected, Babs Tarr’s art is the star of the show here. It’s dynamic, bright, and expressive. I love the fashion and the distinct style each of the girls have, which are also statements on their personalities. I think I shouted out colorist Miquel Muerto last issue but whether or not I did it’s worth doing so again. The beautiful, fun colors breathe even more life into Tarr’s already lively art.
Just such a gorgeous book, and so so fun, especially for the comic book girlies.

I think the one thing everyone can agree on is that Horoscope is an AWFUL therapist, lmao. But I was hoping this would thrill me a bit more, I still continue to enjoy the art and character work as everyone has very defined and unique personalities that work well together even when they are butting heads. But I can’t help but feel like we are on a collision course for a fast paced just wrap it up finale as the primary purpose of this issue seemed to be just getting everyone in position for the final showdown at Dinah’s wedding. The issue starts once again with the sirens being contentious towards each other as ivy, Harley, and Selina have basically cut Dinah out all while Selina is catching on and despises being around Harley and Ivy’s growing love for one another. So this sends all of them back to their partners. Dinah and Ollie start going out on patrol more, even though they end up screwing around on rooftops more than we see them actually patrolling. And the night Ivy and Harley go back to investigate the Scorpio bar for any clues on horoscope, Selina goes to a fancy dinner where Bruce where she ends up walking out because she can’t stand any of it. Ivy and Harley’s trail led them up an elevator shaft where they found the actual apartment for horoscope, it’s pretty obvious when there are a bunch of star signs written out in blood on the windows, and thankfully Harley was met enough to take some pictures of it + the note on the center marking the day of Dinah’s wedding. Unfortunately they set off an alarm, pulling Horoscope away from her “therapy” session where she just sat there mind numbingly agreeing to everything her patient said while she focused solely on the patient’s birthday, to go and attend to her intruders. Somehow horoscope was able to hire some private mercenaries which engaged ivy and Harley in gunfire first, which fortunately happened while Selina was on the phone with Harley…allowing Selina to hit up Dinah for extra help to run in and back them up. Dinah ended up abandoning Ollie to do this, and as everyone met up to fight back against these mercs…suddenly horoscope herself joined the party. At the moment her target would be a Sagittarius and luckily none of our sirens are…unfortunately one of the private mercenaries is. So horoscope decided to stab her own guard to death, somehow knocking Dinah away in the process to throw her out the window. Luckily through the power of friendship all of the sirens dashed out the window after Dinah to save her, solidifying their friendship…but letting horoscope get away in the process. Honestly ivy was the only one who really needed to go after her, but the group is way closer because of it.

Harley and ivy of course retreated home where they immediately got back to spending lots of time closely together as they don’t have much of a trail to follow. But the one thing to finally get them back out of the house is an event Dinah invited them to…none other than her bachelorette party! Of course being hosted by Barbara Gordon. Dinah genuinely invited them because they are her friends, much to the disbelief of Barbara, lol. Dinah had another unfortunate bombshell to drop on Barbara during this party, she needs to cut out all the current bridesmaids over a security matter. Obviously Dinah isn’t going to tell Barbara about the horoscope threat, but even accepting getting rid of Ollie’s cousins as her bridesmaids to be replaced with the sirens…Barbara refused to stand down as maid of honor as she takes her duty very seriously and honestly Dinah you are going to want Barbara there as well. Now for all the fun and games of this party, besides all the upsets to the wedding itself, there is a bit of trouble as this party takes place on New Year’s Eve and as the clock ticked down Harley decided to find a random smooching partner instead of Ivy…immediately making Pamela stick to her stomach as she tried to not make such a big deal about Harley’s very open nature. Harley of course drunkenly followed Ivy to the bathroom and while searching for her under the stalls accidentally came across a dead body in a different stall…horoscope struck while all of their guards were down. No much else they can do than call the cops so Dinah can continue to give them info, but she is thoroughly sick of how this case has been treated by the GCPD. Renee and her have continued to try and get more eyes on this as the bodies pile up, and now it’s up to the sirens to truly take care of this. Dinah and the rest of the sirens vow to spend every night patrolling together until horoscope is taken down…which ultimately leads them all the way into the cold fringes of February with 0 sign of horoscope. Unfortunately the sirens just need to go back to horoscope’s apartment, as she has returned to the scene for her next kill including the patient we saw her with earlier in the issue… I don’t have much hope for the sirens catching up to this villain, leaving them no choice but to coax her out to them.

I have reached the point of hate reading hence 1 star.
Why does everyone act like children? Why does Dinah start fucking her fiance in public while patroling when there's a serial killer on the loose? Why is Harley Quinn written like a fucking 8 year old? Why is Selina mad Bruce invited her to his friend's and fellow hero's wedding because he's rich? Why does Poison Ivy have Harley Quinn chipped? Why are the sirens the only people, save Barbara and Dick Grayson for some reason, invited to the bachelorette? Why is Selina ok with the bachelorette but not with going to the wedding with bruce? Why didn't she invited the birds of prey? I don't know and at this point I don't care to.

Oh my god is the italian stilted. Like technically correct, but so stilted. Why is she saying ciao to everyone? And "Ciao troie" is not how a person would say it. The villain, who I thought would be interesting previously, just has a stupid motivation of making people be born under "better" signs, it seems so at least. LAME.

Nice start but slow finish.

I got excited with the opening of this issue. It started with a nice punch. The ladies are chillin, doing their thing... trying to make some semblance of plans when Dinah walks in like a crazed lunatic because she hasn't been able to get in contact with any of them. Selina is avoiding Batman's texts, Harley and Ivy are obviously a thing now and everyone appears to just be watching the days go by...hunching in between. Which, by the way, actually worked for me where everything else sort of fell flat.

I was loving the bachelorette party and vibes there. I thought the dialogue was good and the drama with the last minute switch of bridesmaids had potential and then "femicide" entered the picture and I found myself rolling my eyes. Boring. Even the return of Porsia was flat for me. I hope this picks up again next issue. Of course the artwork was amazing, but the story is lacking.

This is the 3rd installment of this 4 issue miniseries, and I am loving it . . . The story focuses on 4 strong, witty women (Super Heroes / Antiheros) who are solving an ongoing mystery (there is a "horoscope serial murderer" afoot).

When it is clear that the men of the Gotham City Police force are slow walking the investigation of a misogynistic serial killer -- women victims, gruesome crime scenes -- the Sirens (Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn) take matters into their own hands. They and Black Canary are determined to find the serial killer and protect the women of Gotham before tragedy strikes yet again.

Oh, and the 4 women are also planning Black Canary's wedding at the same time -- and don't get me started about all the drama over who gets to be a bridesmaid!

Harley and Ivy flirting is gold. I'm eating it UP!
Also, Ivy having Harley chipped is HILARIOUS. I love that Selina has the tracking info too!!! I can totally see Harley getting into unexpected trouble regularly enough that the other Sirens need it.

This issue sees Dinah finally admitting the police haven't done anything about a serial killer on the loose targeting women, and she's ready to go full vigilante. She also admits she sees the Sirens as genuine friends now, even if hanging out with them only started as a cover to investigate a gang.

I love this run!

Another good issue! More drama! More murder! More romance? Lots to love in here. I'm enjoying this series a lot. Especially this new villain. The more I see of her, the better. Let's hope our girls can put an end to her evil-doing though!

“I’ve studied this particular haven for mad souls and weak wills for a long time. But like many strong men before it, Gotham is fascinated with its worst women. Star-cross’d if you will.”

And here I was under the impression that Ivy and Harley were already an item! Deducting one star because I feel like writing did my girl Babs dirty. Otherwise another fun issue!

Amazing art, and the character dynamics are fun, especially the Sirens and Dinah. The romance is a bit too much at times overpowering the mystery, which is a pity.

LMFAO Harley’s a SuperBat shipper? Loved the art and coloring as usual. I am getting annoyed with how infantilized Harley is like “uppies?” really?? Her and Ivy aren’t even officially together for her to be baby talking like idk -_- also crazy that Dinah wanted to fire Barbara as her maid of honor for “safety reasons” like I get firing Ollie’s normie cousins that she doesn’t even know but like ?? Barbara? Fucking Batgirl? 😭 and her bf Dick/Nightwing right there ?? I’m sure she can hold her own like tf ??? Also I just still don’t get why Dinah doesn’t really gaf about her wedding like does she not have any friends and family whatsoever ?? Even her engagement party was full of people she didn’t know and they were all Ollie’s family and friends. Idk it’s just weird to me and honestly I don’t know Dinah lore so is she really just that alone that she would be fine with whatever ?
