needed more

I hate saying this because I usually love Corinne Michaels, but Destined for Me just didn’t hit for me—2 stars.

The biggest struggle was the lack of character development. The relationship felt like it went from zero to one hundred in what felt like two pages, and I never really got the chance to connect with them or believe in what they had. It needed more depth, more buildup, and more moments that made me feel invested.

I kept waiting for that emotional pull or substance that her books usually deliver, but it just fell flat for me. I really wanted more from these characters and their story.

Loved this! It was a great little novella filled with lots of feels. Having read Hadley and Cayden’s parents stories and knowing them when they were children, it was great to have them get together and have their happily ever after. What a great way to combine the Arrowood and Hennington’s together. Their stories were so good and combined with this one and its ending had me sobbing.

This is a sweet love story. The story itself holds your interest throughout. The characters come across as real people that you'd like to know in real life. And, it has a happy ending....what more could you ask for. It's a good read--just enjoy.

Love coming back.

I loved reading the first child of the brothers story. I loved how all the kids grew up close. Hadley is a great person and she really found her equal in Cayden. They had a wonderful story and I'm not surprised how the brothers responded.

Fast paced read that you won't be able to put down.

Two lawyers, Hadley and Cayden have a history and now they are they are on opposite sides of the same case. While they may act like they hate each both really do not. Cayden decides to come over to Hadley's house to talk about the case and after too much wine, it's on.

Hadley still is resisting but Cayden wins her over and now they just have to navigate the case without revealing their feelings for each other.

It's tricky, it's going well and then, well then the pregnancy, Hadley is all in and she is afraid Cayden will not be, not the case! In a lovely enemies to lovers story, the two old friends, are now having a baby and going to get married!

Their families are thrilled and the wedding is emotional. Great book, you won't be able to put down! First read for this author I already know there will be more!
