This book had me locked in until about the 80% mark, and the ending really pissed me off! Rayzor and Eris were both immature and honestly don't need to be with anyone.

******Cliffhanger Ending*******
I’m so angry st myself for not doing my usual research before starting this book like if it’s a standalone or cliffhanger and if a cliffhanger what’s the normal turnover time before the next release. It seems like it will be a couple of months but hopefully it won’t be.
The book was very entertaining. At times everyone’s level of maturity and immature actions really grated my nerves. I liked how Rayzor and Eris was vibing being a family with her sister Erin and son Levi and then all the drama started doing too much in my opinion. Eris ended their relationship because she found out that he’s in the streets as well as being a professional boxer. I don’t know ANY millionaire professional boxer who would risk his future nor brand to sell drugs so I don’t like that storyline. Eris, Suki, and Rhea supposed to be best friends but Rhea just seems to give off jealous hater vibes from the beginning like she felt some type of way about not being chosen at the fight on Eris’s birthday. I don’t understand why City and Suki were acting like they didn’t know each other but I do like how Suki be on the same type of time that City be on. City has realized that Suki is him in female form. I don’t like how Rayzor’s mom keeps blaming him for his father’s deáth and how Rayzor and his brother Leek have to sneak to spend time together.
Cliffhanger Key Points(So I don’t have to download the book again when the next book drops):
*City last thoughts/actions at Suki’s hair shop: I didn’t think I’d see her and I was about to pull off when I saw her appear from the back. I thought about going in then I thought about how the bad Rayzor’s ass was out here behind Eris. I had time to stop my shit and pulled off. That lil’ mouthy mothafucka has some shit with her. We clashed. I hadn’t gotten serious with a woman since my old bitch cut a nigga deep and got pregnant on me by the nigga she crept with then tried pinning the kid on me. I see a lot in her, but Suki and I were the same people in different fonts. That shit won’t work.
*Rayzor’s ex Naya rolls up on him after his fight in Vegas. He leaves with her and wakes up the next morning in a room Theresa.” with Naya, his old recruiter Celine, á dude in a suit he didn’t know, and the dude .who had been following him around in the silver car. Whatever reason they were there had something to do with Rayzor’s mom Theresa.
*Naya texted Eris the video of her and Rayzor sleeping together in Vegas along, an old mugshot picture of Rayzor being charged with murder, and old pictures of her and Rayzor together.
*Eris went out on a date with Trevon who just wanted her to introduce in to Rayzor so she ended the date early to arrive home to Rayzor in her house covered in blood.
Cliffhanger conversation between Rayzor and Eris:
Rayzor: “You think I’d hurt my kids or a fuckin’ babysitter?”
Eris: I wanted to say no but couldn’t. “Rayzor. I just want to go check on them,” I replied, playing calm.
Rayzor:“For what? My word ain’t good now?”
He shook his head. His voice sounded different. He felt different. Like he wasn’t all the way there upstairs. His eyes were vague. Lost. Darker than usual.
Eris: “You’re supposed to be in Vegas.”
Rayzor: “I’m supposed to be wherever you are, baby.”
He tried to touch me, and I flinched. His eyes grew darker.
Rayzor: “You scared of me now?” I glanced up into his eyes.
Eris: “Rayzor. What happened?”
I referred to the blood and article. He reached out, caressing my cheek.
Rayzor: “If I show you my scars, will you still ride?”

Rayzor: Tell Me It’s Mine by Myia White absolutely had me in a chokehold from start to finish. I’m talking stayed up way too late because I was locked ALL the way in and couldn’t put it down.
The suspense? Chef’s kiss. The character development? So well done it had me fully invested in every move, every decision, every messy moment.
Now let’s talk about Rayzor… wild AF doesn’t even begin to cover it 😭 the things that man said and did??? Unhinged. But Eris?? Oh she matched his energy every single time—just as bold, just as wild. They were chaos in the best way.
And Suki and City?? Easily the most delusional duo in the book. Their dynamic was hilariously toxic—like you know it’s a mess but you cannot look away.
That ending though??? I did NOT expect things to escalate that fast. Just when I thought I had a grip on where things were going, boom—twists, turns, and then a cliffhanger that left me sitting there like “EXCUSE ME???” 😩
The “to be continued”??? Yeah… I’m on edge and already counting down for the next book because I NEED answers.

If you’re reading this prior to reading the book, this book does end on a cliffhanger.
I went back & forth on what to rate this book but overall the book isn’t bad but thinking of the plot throughout the book it does give chaos & confusion. Rayzor was this boxer who went through something traumatic as a child. Eris is a single mother & also raises her teenage sister. Apparently Rayzor is tied up into some dark shit but in my opinion the way things were placed & set up in the end it don’t make sense nor did it flow. I would’ve appreciated if we got a little bit more background into the shady shit that was going on & if it was kept consistent throughout the book. Also I could’ve done with the chapters from City & Suki cause Suki gives confusion & is the epitome of miscommunication.

I thought this book would be a quick, steamy read… but this book RUINED me in the best way possible…. This book grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go from page one.
Eris wanted one night. One escape.
But that damn Rayzor!!!!! He’s not a man you walk away from he is definitely a force, a problem, a whole storm you don’t survive unchanged.
The tension is suffocating. The chemistry is addictive. And the deeper you go, the more you realize this isn’t just a romance… it’s a trap.
And that ending!!!! Ummmm Myia come outside cause a CLIFFHANGER?!?!? Is you cool???
I need answers. I need the next book. I need to know what happens when everything finally explodes… 🔥👀

Omg this series is gonna be lit and off the chain. My boy Rayzor is going through it. People coming from his pass and everything I believe one of them is who did something to his pops. My girl needs to stop running he’s tryna protect her from the other side. Rhea is jealous of my girl badly. And my other girl sukie and city needs to get it together. I can’t wait to read book 2. U did good on yet another book and I’m looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read

E was really her and I loved her strong spirit .
Suki a good bff but her family story really threw me off.
Both the leading guys need growth but I understand its from trama...but the mom with the brother need a sofa with the doctor...I will be reading book to I hope it gets back on track

Despite the typo's, I still gave it a 5 star, because it keep me turning the pages.

Whew, come on with book two.

Rayzor had me conflicted but I’m still on his side. He moves with a sense of protection and loyalty that really stands out, even when things get messy. I understand why Eris was upset but sis I’m in bookland. The way he shows up for his brother, and for the kids, adds a softer layer to his character that I liked a lot. And his mama!! Yeah… something about her had me side eyeing from the start. Overall, it pulled me in and Im ready for book two.

Thoroughly enjoyed it! Rayzor is such a trip and I loved him down. Cant wait for book 2❤️.
Side note. There were a few typos with Eris’ name. And it was mentioned as Erin’s name for eg that Rhea situation at the house and when they were holding hands at one point

This book is so good. And I'm ready for the next book. Rayzor is a complete crashout behind those he loves. I just wish Eris would just go to Rayzor and talk to him when people come to her about him. Like he asked her..."If I show you my scars, will you still ride? "
