The Shadow World series has been contracted by Wild Rose Press's fantasy line and will be re-released in the near future under my name, Gwenan Haines. Sorry for the delay!
The novella was so captivating that I went ahead an picked up the novel. There were a few places throughout some chapters that needed editing but wasn't too bad. It was nice to see that the characters from the novella carried on into this novel. The story started off very interesting but then the action slowed down as the book progressed. This would have been a great solid five stars if the author kept the same excitement throughout the novel. I'm contemplating whether or not I want to continue the next book when it's released. Cody and Haley are quite the pair. Their relationship isn't quite as strong as I would have liked to see for the main male and female characters. The storyline is an interesting one to say the least. It is worth the read if you don't mind the areas needing editing and the slow progression of the main characters relationship, they just need ed to have more depth, more feelings.
