Outstanding, funny and informative, not often you can say that about a book!

I so enjoyed Emily’s style of writing, the colourful language at her frustrations, and frequent life analogies were superbly placed and entertaining.

The content is brilliant (for reference I’m 60, returning from injury and been heavily advised by my physio to reduce my previous “over activity” of too many gym days, and very active lifestyle) Actually a complete change in how I train is now required, no more thoughtless classes for me , other than a treat with friends 🤣

I’m searching for the how’s and why’s of precisely how that should look. Of course the physio has helped me with that, yet understanding the why gives me wider ability to work that through, planning longer term. Emily’s book delivers exactly what I want.

I have read it once, already dog eared! I’m going back through it now with a highlighter and note pad to pull my specific learns to my further attention to help me compile a plan for me, and my body.

I’m strong, old and happy 😃 and want to stay this way 💪🏼

Off to buy a couple more to send to my daughters .

Could have done with some pictures of the top 5 exercises.
It seemed aimed at younger people, not those of us who are already old.
