The Luminara Series. Box Set – Volume 1 Books 1 - 3 Lussuria – L’amore – Lucca’s Lust
Dark. It’s all dark. Darker than you could ever possibly imagine. Not even a candle can flicker an incandescent light in front of me. Even now, years after I escaped, I’m still living in darkness. I’m still running. I’ve spent my entire life gazing at the stars, wondering if I’ll ever get to live in the light. It must be dazzling and wonderful. You’ve read about tortured souls, but you’ve never read about mine. I was taken before I was even born. It was my destiny and written in my stars. My soul’s not just tortured, it’s unrepairable and hollow. I left part of it back in Hell, and I can’t go back. I won’t go back. Not ever. You think you’ve read it all? You haven’t. And sadly … it’s all true. It happened to me. And I hate that it’s my life.
I shouldn't be alive. Life was never my own. Nothing was given to me and everything was taken from me. I ran. I fought. I stayed alive. Well, my body survived, my mind didn't. I’m damaged beyond repair. I live on my nerves. I feel emotions bigger than myself, and I am many things. Vulnerable Anxious. . Paranoid. Guarded. . Ashamed. Dirty. Exposed. And I feel alone.
I pray that one day I will be free. But that means placing trust and letting someone in. Would they make me brighter? Would they make me believe? Would I make them dark? I’ve never wanted to feel for someone else because I’m far too broken and deep. It scares me. I don’t trust easily. I’m curious, but I’m nervous. I’ve never felt lust, or love, or light.
Until now.
I feel Lucca Caruso, and everything he symbolises. He desires me. He wants me. He worships me. He loves me. He protects me. He makes me feel alive. He sets my body on fire. He melts my heart. He gives me him. All of him. He is lust. He is love. He is light. I trust him. I want him. I need him.
He is everything I have fought my entire life to avoid. He makes me feel. He is taking me places I never imagined could be possible. He is giving me new life. He is keeping me in his light. He is giving me his heart, body, mind, and soul. I love it … I love him. And there is no other place I want to be other than in his arms.
With Lucca … I feel like I can breathe. I’m alive. I need him to keep me here.
I’m Lexi and this is my story about a world of darkness and a journey towards the light.
SJ Molloy, British Author of ‘The Luminara Series’ was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. She currently resides in Scotland with her husband, two daughters, and loving gun dog who is utterly spoiled. Along with writing and publishing romance fiction, SJ is completing her MLitt Creative Writing, Crime Writing and Forensic Investigation postgrad at Dundee University, Scotland.
SJ loves well-developed, multi-layered stories with moral complexities in various genre's. SJ will be splitting her time between writing and publishing crime fiction; namely: Tartan Noir, Mystery Suspense, and Psychological Thrillers along with various genre's of romance fiction, script writing, blog posts, and freelance creative writing.
When she's not writing, reading, studying, enjoying family time or walking her dog, SJ loves all things practical and creative. Dancing, music, cooking, travelling, good food and wine are her favourite past times along with laughter, lots and lots of laughter.
Lexi is a very insecure woman due to her painful past. With a history involving abuse, it is no wonder why Lexi avoids physical contact with strangers. However, she is able to overcome her fear when her patients are in pain. Her skills in physiotherapy is the reason why Lucca walked into her office for back pain.
Lucca falls in love with her instantly. And he always gets what he wants. Fate had then meeting again in Tuscany. While Lexi was there on vacation, Lucca was there for business and family. He notices Lexi's insecurities and is very patient with her. He is the perfect gentleman, and he also spoils her with riches.
The relationship between them moves very fast. I really enjoyed the story and erotic moments. I also enjoyed the supporting characters in the story. They have a lot of personality and seemed more realistic. My only issue was the overly fluffy dialogue.
L'amore (Book 2)
The story continues! Lexi and Lucca try to work things out after their romantic holiday in Tuscany, but there's a lot of drama because of Lucca's past.
One of my favorite things about this story was getting to know more about their family and friends. There are a lot of touching moments that will warm your heart. I loved this story more than the first!
Lucca's Lust (Book 3)
This is the third book in the series, and it is all in Lucca's POV. The story flows so nicely that it almost feels like a standalone. The majority of the book takes place in Tuscany (Book 1). And then SJ Molloy brilliantly ties it back to the end of Book 2.
I normally don't have the patience to read books that are in the other character's POV, but I do not regret reading this because there were some new events (and some new enemies) in the story. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book.
The Luminara Series: Box Set Volume 1: Lussuria - L'amore - Lucca's Lust by SJ Molloy is delightfully dark and erotic. There are three books in this box set which is one of the reasons I love box sets is because you don’t have to wait for the next book. There are some stark themes in these stories with abuse, kidnapping and imprisonment which some readers may need to be aware of and be careful with. The first book starts out as little fluffy but as it goes on the writing gets stronger and more fulfilling. SJ’s descriptive writing gives us something that is gut wrenching, heart pumping and edge of the seat intense.
Together can they put the dark and harmful past behind and forge ahead into the light and sunshine of love and life?
The Luminara Series: Box Set – Volume 1 (Lussuria – L’amore – Lucca’s Lust) by SJ Molloy - Review by Krista Vaughan
Having lived in my own darkness I understand the fear and the need of the light. I need a Lucca in my life! So understanding, supportive and loving. Protective. Intense. Lustful. Someone to make you feel loved, wanted and accepted despite the broken pieces that you are made of. A relationship that holds together by lifting each other into the light. This is not 1 but 3 books about of that love and life together. I cried, I daydreamed and I wanted... Please read this series!
Very very very good read! May I say......... Oh Lucca!!!! These books are so full of pure raw emotion. Lucca makes my heart swoon! The love between Lucca and Lexi cannot be denied. The emotional roller coaster ride that Lexi went through, especially as a child growing up, just tore at me. Her strong, sheer determination to get through is just wow! I am very excited to see what happens next. If you are looking for love, lust, twists and a strong story, this series is for you!
5 Stars The Luminara Series: Box Set – Volume 1 (Lussuria – L’amore – Lucca’s Lust) by SJ Molloy
The Luminara Series (Boxset 1-3) by SJ Molloy is a Dark Romance that once you start reading you will find yourself lost in the pages and wont want to put it down. I truly enjoyed this Boxset and reading about Lexi and her journey from dark to light. I found myself on the edge of my seat throughout the books and my emotions were all over the place. There are dome scenes that may be a trigger for some and a couple times I had to walk away for a bit and then picked right back where I left off. Can Lexi and Lucca together get past the dark and into the light together? I highly recommend reading this Boxset and I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
I am so glad to come into this series with a boxed set of the first 3 books! I devoured them!
Lexi - is a girl with a past a past that would kill most people but she saved her family and is making strides to improve the quality of her life. The day she is setting up her new massage therapy suite, she meets Lucca for the first time in her life she feels something for a man. Lucca has a past as well and he is working through issues. When Lucca shows up at the Villa that she and her friend have booked their holiday in Italy she thinks she is being stalked. But, it is the beginning of something lovely.
Ms. Molloy, drags you in and slowly builds the story and introduces us to Lexi and Lucca's sordid pasts. The story pulls you in and have to keep reading to ensure that Lucca does what he has to keep Lexi from running again. As the series suggest will Lexi and Lucca bring each other light or burn themselves out. The book is dark and forboding and hits on a lot of hard subjects, it is dark and ugly at times, but they were dealth with empathy and as kindly as possible. I shed a few tears for both of them, but mostly for Lexi, Cameron, and thier Mom.
If you are looking for a series that will hold your attention, make you feel, and pray for light and happiness, with some rocking sex along the way - I highly recommend the series - can't wait for Book 4! Be warned it is a cliff hanger, one that will leave you screaming!
This book is only suitable for those over 18 as it contains adult themes and content which could trigger some readers.
Lexi is a woman who has been to Hell and back again, but the things she experienced there have broken her in more ways than one and she is mired in darkness, but she is also afraid of her own shadow, afraid that she will be dragged back to Hell and she is terrified of what will happen if she is. At night when she sleeps, she has nightmares where she relives everything she has been through, she is closed off and anxious about everything and uses her medication and therapy to try and just survive her everyday life, but when Lucca walks into her life out of the blue, things will never be the same again.
Lexi is preparing for a girls holiday away with her best friend, but before she can get home to pack, she has to finish unpacking the moving boxes in her new physiotherapy office in a leisure centre, the lease has just been agreed and she needs to prepare everything for her business partner when he opens up while she is away. She is also trying to field messages and phone calls from her other friends and family, but she hasn’t got the time or energy to deal with all that drama as well as everything else, however when she does acknowledge them, it leads her into a panic attack and just as she is going full pelt into it there is a knock at the door. She jumps up in shock and turns her back on the Italian voice she hears, but he ignores the request to give her a moment and comes straight over, lifting her chin up to look at him and asks again if she is ok. As she slowly raises her eyes, she cannot help but admire his physique, he is tall, muscly, domineering and very masculine, but the moment that their eyes meet she cannot look away, he is gorgeous and has a warm aura, but the intensity is off the charts, never mind the sex appeal.
After he introduces himself as Lucca, it turns out that he is there for a consultation as his back is hurting him, but she is finding it so hard to concentrate, as she hasn’t been affected in this way by anyone in this way before, however, she manages to get through the consultation, despite trying to ignore the fact that he is most definitely aroused and that it is affecting her in the same way and it terrifies her, especially when he asks her to dinner, but she refuses and just about maintains her professionalism until he leaves. When she eventually finishes work and she goes home and discusses it with her girls, they are all happy that this has happened and help her to get to grips with the feelings, she also deals with her family and the news they have for her, then she focuses on her girls night in and preparing for her holiday the next day.
The next day dawns early and she finialises her preparation, she is looking forward to the three weeks away she has planned, when she does set off on the journey, she is nervous, but excited, especially when they are traveling through the countryside and see the hotel for the first time. They are warmly welcomed with food and drinks and given time to freshen up before heading down for dinner with the other people who are staying there, however, when she entered the room and sees Lucca, her brain goes into panic mode, fight or flight sets in and she does what she always does and runs away. She feels like she is being stalked and just wants to go straight home, however she finds out that it is an accident and that it is actually the hotel owner's grandson. It turns out that he wants to see her and apologise for the shock, she reluctantly agrees and is happy when her friend supports her with the decision, but when she finds that she finds comfort in his touch and is not acting in her usual way she is shocked, but when she starts to open up and agrees to spend some time with him to get to know him because he is persistent in his requests and this is the start of something neither of them is prepared for.
Will Lexi be able to spend time with Lucca and feel comfortable doing it, will she spurn his advances or will she let her walls down and allow him to see her and everything which she is holding behind those walls and will Lucca be able to accept her as she is, baggage and all, or will this just be something to break out of her shell? This is a story of trauma, emotions, love, acceptance and finding light in the darkness which will pull you into their lives and keep you there as you go on their journey with them.
Book Review: Lussuria; The Luminara Series, Book 1 Author: SJ Molloy Four Stars This book has many triggers. If you have any history or suffer from domestic violence including molestation, rape, abuse etc I would recommend you not read this series. With that being said, Alexis has met her Italian God and she is being spoiled and loved deeply. Lucca and Alexis are a match unlike any other. Despite her history and inabilty to trust, Alexis finds herself drawn to Lucca and really hates being away from him. SJ Molloy is a good writer. You will find yourself not being able to put this book down and you will just keep reading and reading. There are very descriptive sexual activities that happen VERY frequently. I honestly do no think I have ever read a book that has had this much sex in it. This is a lengthy read but it is worth it. KLH
Book Review: L'amore: The Luminara Series, Book 2 Author: SJ Molloy FOUR STARS
This book continues with Lexi and Lucca's story. In this book Lucca's jealousy and Lexi's insecurities have about done me in. I do love their chemistry and passion for one another but my goodness they have a lot of issues. Ms. Molloy does really have a very descriptive way of writing. You can visualize everything and you feel like you are right there in the middle of everything. Hazel and Cameron, Lexi's best friend and brother are amazing people and so protective of Lexi. There are so many secrets and the way Lucca tries to control every aspect of everything is maddening. KLH
Book Review: Lucca's Lust: The Luminara Series Book 3 Author: SJ Molloy FOUR STARS This third book in the Luminara series is from Lucca's point of view. Very different perspective than the first two books but just as good as the first two books. Getting to know Lucca on a much more personal level makes you understand why he has acted the way he has in the first couple books. Lucca has a much darker past than he has even let Lexi now. I am really enjoying this series. Yes the books are lengthy and very detailed. But it is all very much part of the story. KLH
The Luminara Series: Box Set – Volume 1 (Lussuria – L’amore – Lucca’s Lust) by SJ Molloy. This boxset contains the first three books in The Luminara Series: Lussuria (Book #1), L’amore (Book #2), and Lucca’s Lust (Book #3). I was drawn to the series by the beautiful covers and the promise of a “an emotional erotic heart wrenching story of lust, love and light.” Seeing that there were more books in the series, either published, or soon to be released, I snapped up a copy and dove in. I love a great series you can sink your teeth into and get lost in- and that’s what I was hoping for here. But I am so sorry to say that I felt a little disappointed in the end. While the story was okay- it didn’t pack the ‘punch’ I was hoping for – and for me it just didn’t live up to the promise or expectation. I really wanted to love this book/series so hard- but just couldn’t connect with the characters and their story in the way I had hoped. I also felt that the story was really drawn out and could have been condensed into one or two books. For the size of the books/boxset and all the words- there isn’t a great deal of development or the substance I would have expected- so I was left feeling disappointed. If the story had been condensed a little and had some ‘meatier’ development- then this could have been a really stellar read. There is a lot of potential here- but just failed to hit the mark for me. Added to that, some of the dialogue/situations really felt forced, awkward, and stilted- they didn’t flow well or seem ‘natural’- which made for a bit of an unsettling read. I also note that there has been nearly six years between the previous books’ release and the pending new release. That’s a LONG wait between books- so I am very glad that I didn’t start this series sooner. The story/series did get a bit better the further in to it I got- so I am holding out hope for the next books- and yes, I will be finishing the series- I always finish what I start. So fingers crossed. I really did want to love this series so much more than I have (so far) and I am sorry but I just didn’t connect- but maybe it’s just me. Maybe next time I will?
Lussuria Lexi Robertson believes she has it all. She has a new practice as a physiotherapist, a loving brother, a protective, if not overly hyperactive dog, Doris, a wonderful group of friends, and of course, her best friend, Hazel. Where Hazel is outspoken and fun-loving, Lexi is reserved and distant. Their opposite natures bring them together and have since their first day at university.
Hazel and Lexi are off on a vacation in Tuscany, Italy. They want to learn to cook Italian cuisine and bask in the lovely Tuscan countryside. Lexi loves the villa, and their hosts, Sophia and Franco. Little does she know that her life is about to change. Lexi finds herself in the same villa as her mystery patient from before she left. She’s terrified that he stalked her there. Finding out that this is his grandparents’ villa, Lexi learns to trust Lucca Caruso.
Follow Lexi’s story fighting off the darkness of abuse and insecurity, to finding light in love and lust.
L’Amore Lexi and Lucca have discovered that they are each other’s present and future. The second book in the Luminara series focuses on how that love grows.
Suddenly their love is challenged when a ghost from her past begins searching for her. Life drastically changes for her and Lucca as well as anyone with whom they are closely acquainted. Can their love prevail? Or will darkness consume Lexi again?
Lucca’s Lust The third book of the Luminara series focuses on Lucca’s past. SJ Malloy does an outstanding job of describing how Lucca deals with life and tragedy. From his past to his present, the story of Lucca is an outstanding story of how a man deals with life, love, and tragedy.
This is a true story about overcoming your past to find love and light. I was captured by the stories of the characters from the moment I begin Lussuria. This is a true love story.
When your whole life has been in darkness can a light seep through the cracks and blast through the darkness, that's the hope Lexi is looking for.
Lexi has had a dark past, full of hurt and evil but as she is trying to piece her life together she stumbles upon someone who could ignite to spark that has been buried so deep she feels she may have lost forever. Until Lucca walks into her office and then all bets are off.
Lucca is not particular looking for the one but when he walks into the physiotherapists office that day he did not know that it would change his life forever and meet the woman of his dreams.
This series is in three stages like a play, the first book introduces us to Lexi and the hideous life she has been through until this time and you truly cry inside for this woman, with her feeling so closed off and existing not living until one day Lucca walks in and then her feelings change. The story is pretty fasted pace from then, there relationship is in warp speed and very sexual which was a joy to read.
The stories were well written and I am glad I got to read them one after the other and fully appreciate the chemistry burning between these two character was a pleasure to read. As each book progress you get to see more into this beautiful couple and slowly see the boundaries that Lexi had built up breakdown with each confidence and trust she has with Lucca. I also loved that although through the first two books we see it from the prospective of Lexi the third book is written in Lucca's prospective and is a brilliant counter to the thoughts and feelings you read within the page of the first two books.
This is the first books I have read from this author and would love to read more of them in the future.
The Luminara Series: Box Set Volume 1: Lussuria - L'amore - Lucca's Lust By SJ Molloy
Wow this series was such a great read. The first book gripped me from the start and as I read this book my heart broke for Lexi and her mom and brother. This family has been through some horrific stuff and the author handled these things very well. There are definitely some issues in this story that can be triggers for some people. We get to meet Lucca, the hot Italian man who wants to bring Lexi into the light. In the second book we get to watch both of these characters love grow and it is heartwarming to experience. There are also other wonderful characters in this story. Lexi and Lucca go through a lot of trials and tribulations in their relationship because there are people that don't want them together and because both of their pasts bring its own problems emotionally for both of them. The 3rd book is Lucca's pov and I thought it was going to be a repeat of the story but it was so much more than that. We find out some shocking things from Lucca's past. I feel like it also gave me a better understanding of where Lucca is coming from and why he is the way he is. These books were an emotional read for me and they are full of romance, family, steamy moments, friends and more. I cannot wait to read book 4, I highly recommend this box set, you will not be able to put it down.
The Luminara Boxed Set by SJ Molloy contains the first 3 books in the Luminara series by SJ Molloy. It contains the full length novels; Lussaria, L’Amore and Lucca’s Lust. I had never read and of SJ Molloy’s work but the blurb of the boxed set had me very intrigued and looking forward to reading these 3 books. I am so glad that I chose to read these books as they totally captivated me and had me hooked from the very first pages. This series is definitely for those aged 18+ due to the adult nature of the content. It should also be stressed that these books could be triggers for some due to some of the darker content. The Luminara series is dark, very sensual and erotic and a fantastic read. Lucca and Lexi are amazing characters that I loved reading about. Lexi had a very traumatic childhood and has never gotten over the horrors that she had to endure as a child. Lucca is totally enchanted with Lexi and is determined to be the man to heal her. I absolutely adored Lucca and loved that we got to revisit some of the story from his POV in Lucca’s Lust. It made a huge different getting to know his past, his own demons and what makes Lucca tick. I really can’t wait to read the 4th book in this series and I’m so glad to already have it on my kindle waiting for me as I really can’t wait to see what’s in store next for Lucca and Lexi.
The Luminara Series: Box Set Volume 1: Lussuria - L'amore - Lucca's Lust by SJ Molloy. This series is one of my top picks for 2021. I’m a girl who loves a story about people mainly women living through awful things and rising above it all. Throw in a guy who makes me swoon all that much better. Lucca and Lexi are a couple of main characters that will pull you so completely into their world you won’t even know the time passing. Books one and two are a continuous of their story and book three is Lucca’s view of book one. My only complaint is that I had a hard time getting through book three simply because I wanted the furthered storyline quicker. Don’t get me wrong I loved getting Lucca’s point of view but I’d have liked it a bit later but please don’t take that as a hit against this amazing series because even though I didn’t like the timing per say I still absolutely loved Lucca’s point of view. This series is definitely not for the faint of heart there’s situations that could trigger some and be uncomfortable for others but if you love a strong character who fights hard to live her life I highly recommend this series. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m so excited to get more time with Lexi and Lucca. Five great big stars!
It was nice having the first three books in the series so I could continue on without having to wait. I do have to say that the first book was a bit slow for me in the beginning but I eventually got pulled right in.
Lexi has a terrible and scary past that she continues to have nightmares over. She is moving forward with her life and getting her new office set up before she goes on holiday. This is when she meets Lucca for the first time. There is something about him that ignites some different feelings in her. When she runs into him again while on holiday things take an interesting twist.
Overall this was a great read that leaves us with a heck of a cliff hanger leading into book 4. We get several hot and steamy moments. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I will warn there are some dark moments that could cause triggers for some. If you like dark reads this is a great series for you to read. I can’t wait to get my hands on book four.
This is a collection of 3 books that follows the story if Lexi and Lucca. It is a dark romance that keeps you gripped from the first book. The characters are so well written that you can help feeling like your going through every emotion with them. Parts of the story are hard to read due to Lexi's abusive past but really well written.
Lexi has had a terrible past which has now made her an adult that is untrusted, suffers bad with anxiety and she can't see any way she will let another man near her.
That is until Lucca comes into her life. The attraction is instant but she is so scared of what could happen between them.
Can Lucca be her light out of the darkness she has been living in? Can Lucca help her overcome her past and open herself to love? Or will Lexi push him away and not give him the chance to prove he can be trusted?
The Luminara Series: Box Set Volume 1: Lussuria - L’amore - Lucca’s Lust by SJ Molloy is the first 3 book in the Luminara series. These books follow the story of Lucca and Lexi and it is a story you will really find yourself hooked on. There is such a raw and intense connection between Lucca and Lexi, it can felt in absolutely everything. You cannot help but connect with them yourself and feel everything about their journey. I was a little less taken with the overall story - it was good and I enjoyed it but I didn’t quite connect with it in the same way. I thought it was a great bonus that the third book is Lucca’s POV. I prefer books that are dual POV so to get his was something I really liked. This is an overall great series and I am looking forward to the next ones!
While I thoroughly enjoyed the books 1-3 and the rawness of Lexi's and Lucca's love for each other, I couldnt finish the rest of the series. The writing was really good and it brought you literally into Lexi's mindset. The abuse scenes got to be a little much for me and i had to skip some parts of it. I would recommend to my my friends, but I wouldnt recommend it to those who have gone through abuse. Lexi's development through all 3 books was nicely paced out. You could see her growth and there were some parts that weren't realistic, but still added to the story. Overall I enjoyed the Authors storytelling and her writing style.
Book one- Oh my goodness. This book has it all. Definitely want to be gentle if you are a person with triggers, otherwise it was so well worth the read.
Book two- And the story continues. Holy snot. Lexi is such a strong character, and I love her even more in this book. NOT a stand-alone, not by any means.
Book three- Oh Lucca... this series is ripping me apart so far... but I can’t pull away from it. Lucca and Lexi’s story so far is not a light story. Again, this is not a stand-alone, definitely recommend reading the first two books before this!!
50 Shades of Gray.... with some Italian sexiness. This is the first time I'm reading something by S.J. Molly, she brought an interesting new take on the dominant and submissive nature of some relationships. I was really intrigued by their backstories especially because they first met outside their therapists office. The characters are well developed and I liked the different perspectives of the story. My only critique is that some of the dialogue was a bit repetitive. I also wish that the 4th book was also in the series.
Intricately woven and creatively written novels. I enjoyed these novels immensely- I appreciated that each novel depicted various aspects of Luca and Lexi’s relationship. Love is patient, which is a predominant theme throughout this series. Luca’s love, patience and devotion to Lexi enabled her to be receptive to intimacy not only on a physical level but also emotionally. Readers beware of the erotic scenery that jumps off the pages at you. A promise is a promise.
The first 3 books in this series were quite powerful and the love that you see between Luca and Lexus is absolutely beautiful. They really do seem to be made for one another. While there were some parts in the books that I felt that the plot slowed down a bit much, these two really give a good meaning of the love of family and having faith in your partner.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I enjoyed this novel by S.J. Molloy. The novel really touched onto some dark and intense topics. The subject of abuse and how recovering from it can be intense and take time. The story of Lucca and Lexi proves that out of darkness light can come. Lexi’s journey to discovering love was intense and full of many twists and turns. S.J. Molloy writes with passion, and I don’t think that her stories are for the faint of heart. It is an interesting read and I look forward to continuing the journey in future installments.
L’Amore by SJ Molloy
Once again SJ Molloy did not disappoint. The continued story of Lexi and Lucca continued on its journey exploring a dark and intense topic. Lexi and Lucca proved in this latest installment that finding love is possible but keeping the love takes a lot of work. The passion of the first novel continued in this one and I look forward to the future novels in this series. SJ Molloy is a good author and I really enjoy reading her books
Lucca’s Lust by SJ Molloy
The third installment of this series was also very good. I liked the fact that this one was seen from Lucca’s point of view for most of the book. Lucca and Lexi have to overcome a lot of obstacles as they try to make a life together. The subject matter is intense and very interesting. I look forward to reading more.
A fantastic box set which allows you to immerse yourself into this world filled with emotion, suspense and intrigue. The author crafted a fascinating world, fantastic characters and an engaging drama. I loved it.
I requested a copy of this book and am voluntarily writing a review.
I absoulutely loved this book. It was so surreal. Provoked some deep emotions for me. Was very hard to put down when it was time for bed. So excited to read whole series.
This is the first three books in The Luminara Series. The stories in the boxset are well written with amazing characters. There are several triggers found within. The writing is descriptive with detailed development in the relationship between Lexi and Lucca, the plot and emotions.
This is a dark romance box set that I enjoyed. This is a collection of three stories about Lexi and her journey from dark to light. Each book is well written, engaging and page turners. Lexi is a character that is connectable but also she brought the stories to life for me. The story was an emotional roller coaster but that just added to the stories. Lucca is everything she thinks she needs and wants but is he really that good for her? I highly recommend this box set. I am glad I picked it up and so will anyone who enjoys dark romance stories.
Really enjoyed this book, there are so many twists and turns you risk whiplash at times, but it is these twists and turns which kept me fully engaged (I finished book one and went straight on to book2). Lexi has had a really crappy start to life, finally things start to look up for her. She has a great bunch of close friends and her small family whom she loves dearly. Nothing could be better until one day a gorgeous Italian walks into her physio office needing treatment. Love at first sight?? Well it was definitely something at first sight. Lexi does not want a relationship, the thought makes her sweat. But who can say no to Lucca Caruso? Apparently Lexi can. When Lexi bumps into Lucca again whilst on vacation in Tuscany, she panics, hinting at troubles from her past she doesn’t want to share. But Lucca is kind and patient. Explaining why he is coincidentally in the same place as her, which seems highly unlikely. Finally Lexi starts to drop some of her walls, allowing Lucca in, her friend Hazel is shocked to watch this transformation but openly encourages it. I LOVE Hazel! She is loud and has no problem telling it how it is. She only ever wants what is best for Lexi and even she can see that Lucca is bringing her out of herself in a way no one else has ever managed. Lucca is the perfect gentleman, only wanting to spoil Lexi, which she really doesn’t want, but you try arguing with a stubborn Italian. He offers her kindness, patience and love with the occasional disagreement along the way. Really, I could not put this book down and had already started book 2 before writing this. It grabs you and you need to know what is happening next.
L’amore (Luminara #2)
Wow, after reading the first book in this series I could not wait to return to the lives of Lexi and Lucca. It picked up right where the previous left off (FYI if book 2 had not been out I would have gone insane waiting for it). Lexi has to face up to the fact that Michael is not only out of prison, but he feels he has unfinished business with Lexi. He wants his revenge and is prepared to wait to get it. Can Lucca keep Lexi and her family safe from this twisted individual? Really intense read, it grabs hold and does not let go. I really need to know what happens next with this couple. This is one series which always leaves you not only wanting but needing more!!
Lucca's Lust #3
This books was written from Lucca’s perspective, so the first three books got a really good recap ready for the fourth one. It was interesting to be able to understand some of his perspectives into some of the events which had happened over the course of the series so far. I really need to read the next part though, I need to know what happens. It really is killing me to not know now!!
Lussuria I fell in love with Lucca and Lexi's story from the very first word. Their love, lust and light for one another has captivated me and kept me spell bound throughout.
This story has been beautifully written and I can not wait to see where it takes them.
Superb writing, thank you very much SJ Molloy for bringing their story to us.
L'amore What can i say? SJ Molloy has done it again!!!
I am absolutely loving Lexi and Lucca's journey into the light together and can not wait for the next instalment.
Thank you xxx
Lucca's Lust Lucca's Words. Lucca's Heart. Lucca's Life. Lucca's Lust.
Lucca's Lust has so far been my favourite in the Luminara series. Lucca's insight into their love, broke my heart, made it bleed and then put it back together, piece by piece. As he and Lexi made their journey into the light together.
Well done S J Molloy for this wonderful story. She is a truly talented writer who had me laughing and crying along with Lucca and his dolcezza and I can not wait to see where their journey takes them.
