An interesting take on where the world is headed with war and intolerance for each other creating a dystopian style, but still working, society. When things come crawling out of the night, all hell breaks loose and everyone needs to come together.
This was an enjoyable story but had a lot of technical military jargon in it that I needed to look up. There did end up being a glossary at the end of the book though. So that is a helpful tool to add.
I enjoy the dystopian war style and the added apocalyptic stuff. I did not understand the connection of Rosie the Riveter til the end.

This is not the book I was expecting when I started reading it. Good grief, there's a lot going on here! I felt like the writing could be tighter overall, but the concept and execution of this story was fantastic! You'd think a Rosie the riverter story would be kind of boring and focus more on war than on Rosie. This is not that story.

This is Rosie's story of survival amidst death and the destruction of her world.

It is essentially a good vs. evil story with some religious theme interwoven. I hesitate to even say that, because it's definitely NOT RELIGIOUS. Except for the demons and people questioning if this is the end of times, without anyone actually saying that outright.

There is non-stop action through the whole thing, leaving the reader gasping for breath along with the characters and turning the pages as fast as possible. An excellent horror story!

Excellent horror fantasy. Rosie finds herself helping friends for survival against demonic creatures, crawling out of a rift in droves. They are tearing their way through the town and the people, literally, and the descriptive scenes are not for the feint-hearted. Definitely my kind of horror and very highly recommended.

Well, let me start by saying I’ve never heard of Rosie the Riveter let alone read the book. If it was anything thing like this one it was very good. I have to say I liked this, what with monsters etc. it was very action packed with something happening all the time especially when least expected. Recommended read.

Since I was unfamiliar with the source material, I had no idea what to expect which was nice. This was a very visceral, disturbing, and gory read which I loved. It reminded me of short stories by Stephen King because it featured a rag-tag group of survivors pitted against some type of evil creatures and had excellent character development. I really enjoyed it!

This story was definitely not what I was expecting, but I loved it. The Sci-Fi/fantasy aspect with the monsters really reeled me in. I was rooting for Rosie and her friends the whole time in this dystopian world. I loved the use of military jargon and the inclusion of a glossary at the end. I feel like it really added to the atmosphere and immersion of the story.

I know who Rosie the Riveter is, but I've never read her story. This retelling is a horror and science fiction mix that follows survivors as they battle demonic creatures in a gripping yet gruesome tale.
