This latest story focuses on Keel from the Delta Force Team. Frankie and Keel are both damaged by previous relationships and they move forward together very tentatively as friends. Keel comes across so kind and caring to Frankie although he feels he would not be good enough for her. On the other hand Frankie is coming out of an abusive relationship on top of the way she lost both parents and needs someone to be gentle with her which Keel recognises and steps up. There are some instances throughout the story where I just wanted to laugh especially the comments where Frankie’s ex pulled out a gun on Keel. I found this story to be tender and emotional at times especially as I learnt more about Frankie’s previous relationship and the abuse she went through but there were also lighter moments to add balance. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

Logan, or Keel as he’s known by his fellow army mates, is on a short break when he ends up stepping in to help Frankie, who is dealing with an abusive ex. What follows is such an honest story as the author shares Frankie’s healing process, while we also learn more about Logan and his backstory. The reflections on what Frankie is going through feel very real, and the way it’s written builds an authentic friendship that gradually grows deeper. The action keeps things moving, especially with everything her ex and his brother continue to try. I loved how Logan is there for her, helping her find herself again, and then introducing her to his friends and their partners, which allows her to start building a new life. The story has some spice, action, and relationships that rebuild into a HEA, along with strong, solid friendships.

This is a tender, emotional romance that balances softness with moments of real tension and danger. Keel and Frankie are both carrying scars from their pasts, and watching them slowly build trust and find comfort in each other feels genuinely heartfelt. Keel’s quiet protectiveness and self-doubt make him especially endearing, while Frankie’s strength and vulnerability give their connection real depth. The story moves at a gentle pace, letting their relationship grow naturally, with a mix of heavier themes and lighter, even slightly humorous moments that keep it from feeling too heavy. Overall, it’s a warm, comforting read about healing, safety, and finding love when you least expect it.

I really enjoyed the danger in this, the romance was heavy but so was the suspense.
On holiday, Logan Aka Keel rescues Frankie who was being attacked by her ex.
The attraction was instant but the connection was slow to proceed but it's the threat that's holding her back. Soon Keel shows that he is her protector through and through.
I enjoyed the writing style. And the easy read. But it's was the pact they made that builds the romance. This plot really connected with me and I'll looking forward to the next. It's a fairly new author to me and I'm loving the journey.

Book 3 of Delta Force Protection. Can be read as a standalone.
'Together, they decide to take it slow, but the connection between them grows, bringing them together. Just as everything seems perfect, her ex shows up, determined to ruin everything. Will Keel be able to save Frankie, or will her ex win?'
The characters were very complex and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Another great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend.

Keel is a second-chance romance where a rescue turns friendship into something more. Keel is the dependable alpha operator you can always count on, though beneath that strength are vulnerabilities when it comes to matters of the heart.
After barely escaping an abusive ex, Frankie is looking for a fresh start. When her world collides with Keel’s, it isn’t an explosive whirlwind romance. Instead, their relationship develops through a slow turning of the wheels as friendship, trust, and feelings steadily grow.
The attraction between them is sweet and natural. Along the way, Frankie finds not only love but also new friendships and a chance to rebuild her life.
When danger eventually comes knocking, Keel and his team step up to protect the woman who has become everything to him.
A smooth, sweet, and enjoyable read filled with healing, romance, friendship, and just enough danger to keep things exciting.
Keel and Frankie both experienced bad relationships. Helping her is helping him recover from the scars it left. A friendship to lovers story, about abuse, recovery and accepting help.
