Wonderful writing
A well written story. It's clear this author spent significant time creating this story with good pacing and dialogue.
There are a bunch of triggers here, especially with references to prior childhood abuse, prior rape, current multiple mental health issues, etc. so I wouldn't even dare to call this a light read.
The story does put a lot of focus on character development, learning lessons and growth. One great thing to note is this is a story about mid-40 year olds growing, loving and still figuring out life.
It is a trople love story with open doors but it's definitely not smut as the love scenes aren't significant portions of the book.

Amazing
An amazing book about love, connection and being seen. Check trigger warnings for references of past SA. This book is everything I hoped it would be and more. It’s unique and the characters are so authentic. I can’t wait for the next installment of these three!
