Rate this book
"One step. That’s all it would take to close the distance between us and take you into my arms, into that bed. But then there’s no going back."

After their parents got married, Drake and Emily became the best of friends. They shared everything - their secrets, their hopes, their dreams for the future. The one thing Emily couldn’t share with Drake was the truth about her growing attraction to him. She always thought there would be more time. But then their world came crashing down around them, and Drake vanished… leaving Emily alone to pick up the pieces of their broken home.

Five years later, Emily is struggling to pay her law school tuition, and lands a coveted job as a summer associate at a high-powered law firm. With a promising career ahead of her, she’s finally ready to forget about the boy she grew up with and move on with her life. So when Drake suddenly shows up and reignites her feelings for him, will she be able to resist the hold he still has over her heart? Or will she risk everything for a forbidden romance with man she’s loved for so long?

I'm with the previous reviewer, Jana. This was very confusing! It had the potential for a good story line, but seemed the author wanted to keep it short so jumped timelines quickly with little explanation. Also it seemed at many points the author forgot what or where she was in the story line, most significantly the fact that the MC lost her virginity to her stepbrother than later says she still has her virginity than even later in the story she states to her stepbrother she lost her virginity to him. Was the MC/author confused, because I surely remember a sex scene?! Also it really bothers me when some sort of protection is not discussed. If more thought and time went into it then I feel this would have been a really good read, but just fell flat.

The parts of this book that weren’t predictable, ended up being confusing and not really entertaining enough for the ready to want to sort through. I guess it is an okay book to pass the time away but one you can barely get sucked into.

a little confusing

*contains spoilers*

The storyline, as short as it was, was a little confusing. After Emily and Drake get together, it picks up 5 years later, but it's not evident that Drake left Emily and 5 yrs has gone by until 3 pages into that chapter. Also, Emily states that she was still a virgin, but didnt I just read in the chapter before that she and Drake had sex? So I guess they didn't really....oh but wait. Now he's back in her life and she tells him she gave him her virginity. So I guess they did have sex. I'm confused. And he had to have 5 yrs of booze, cocaine and women to realize he loves Emily and she "the one." Lovely.

Good story, but...

Good story, but a bit predictable. Also a bit rushed at the end with the proposal, especially after the author had Emily flipping out and yelling at Drake.
Maybe it's because I read 'heavier' novels with more graphic sex scenes, but I felt extremely let down with the scenes in this book. It's was almost as if the author was nervous about writing more detailed and graphic scenes.
I would recommend this book, but don't expect your kindle to be steaming from the sex.

I'm just not going to read anything with Billionaire in the title again.

This was bad.

At the beginning the girl (and I can't even remember her name, nor do I care anymore) loses her V-card to her step brother. Years later (yet just a few pages later) she says she's a virgin. But then at the end she mentions to the step brother he took her virginity. HUH? Did the author forget what she was writing. Was there no proofreading or editor?

This book might be one of the most atrocious books I've ever read. It's not even the fact that the hero and heroine are step brother and sister (although that played a slight part) but the real crux is the story is laughably unbelievable. The plot is paper thin and the dialogue is reprehensible. I would give it one star but even in all of that I was still compelled to complete the nonsense that is this book. So two stars is all I can muster.

Ehh...

Was ok for me. It just needed more...more of what you ask? Everything. It just seemed the author wanted to throw out some designer names and added words to make it a story. Sorry wasn't for me.

So So

The story was going ok got sad but then ok again....then boom she went from wearing a Pants suit to a dress without her ever-changing her clothes.
I did like the ending. But some errors just ruin it

Well written

This story has a good story line, the obsession with each other isn't that serious. I would have liked for her to experience life instead of being stuck on a dude.

There was absolutely no story line to "Billionaire Stepbrother's Offer." It was strictly sex with no true plot.

Wished it was longer, got a bit confused on chapter 3, turns out that is 5 years after the end of ch 2. But other then that is was a great but quick story.
