He needs a wife to save his business. She needs a husband to escape her past.
Someone I loved betrayed me. She committed fraud, nearly destroyed my company, and tried to pin the blame on me. Since then, trust has come hard. Connection has come harder. Which is why I’ve kept my distance from the gorgeous woman who cleans my office every day.
She’s everything I’m not: warm where I’m guarded, quick to laugh where I’m calculating, able to make strangers feel like family with a single smile. Being around her feels dangerously close to peace… and I don’t do peace. Not anymore.
But a major investor is forcing my hand. To protect the company from being handed to someone who would burn it to the ground, I need a wife, fast. And my cleaner’s the only woman I can imagine standing beside me.
There’s just one problem: as soon as we say “I do,” I realize she’s hiding something. I don’t know what it is—only that whatever she’s keeping from me could destroy us both. *** Please note: This is book two in the Married Series, featuring Quentin and Rei! For the best reading experience, start with the first book, Married to Secrets!
Hi! My name is Kelsie Hoss. I'm an author of relatable, heartfelt spicy adult romance. Being an avid romance reader myself, I always wanted to read books about women like me with curves and stretch marks and flaws that make us beautiful and unique. Even better than that - I wanted a woman like me to get a true hero. Someone worth bringing home to mama! Since I couldn't find those books... I wrote them. It was so fun that I now have multiple stories available with more coming all the time! When not writing, you'll likely find me hanging out with my three boys, obsessing over sourdough recipes, or channeling my inner goddess in the garden.
Welcome back to Dallas and our favorite online boutique real estate company, MyHome, and all its calamity! Kelsie Hoss is back with the second installment of the Married series. I said in my review of Married to Secrets that you didn't need to read the Hello series beforehand, but I don't think that's true here. Married to Lies is a true sequel. Previous conflicts come back to haunt our characters, and without the context from book one, you might find yourself hating characters who don't necessarily deserve it. Hoss does provide enough explanation to follow the story, but I can't imagine getting the full experience without reading the first book. Fortunately, Married to Secrets is great, so that's hardly a hardship. Read that one and come right back. This volume focuses on the CFO Quentin and the chipper janitor, Rei. They are taking on the challenge that Simon, the chief investor of MyHome has proposed (or lose voting shares to his insane kids…) that they get married before his death- which seems to be nigh. They are also facing unresolved hidden issues from their past. We were introduced to them in book one- you may remember Rei as Jade’s best friend. Like all fake dating/marriage of convenience romance tropes, our characters struggle with the false turning into real relationships. Like all Hoss books, the couple ends with the HEA (we all deserve), even if the situations aren’t resolved. We still must find Aaric, Cruz, and potentially Jude wives, after all. Tropes: Fake Dating/Marriage of Convenience, Both Keeping Secrets, He Falls First, Billionaire MMC, Black Cat(ish) FMC, Past coming back to haunt you, False Identity, Found Family. What I did like: The inclusion: Plus size FMC, nonbinary character, Chinese FMC, Black MMC and his family, adopted FMC, Hispanic C-Suite member, interracial relationships not seen as a big deal, Quentin’s vulnerability, ESOL representation (I’m an ESOL Coordinator). Hoss uses sensitivity writers; I’m in her FB group and distinctly recall her asking for people who fit the identities of some characters to ensure she got it correct. She is a blond haired, blue eyed White woman – so the fact that she’s trying to do the “write thing” (see what I did there) is important to me. I’m Puerto Rican myself and am very protective of how we’re portrayed in popular culture. I also enjoyed the callbacks to the Hello series and getting more information about the C-suite guys. The Jude interludes were probably my favorite—I remain extremely interested in his character development. Cruz continues to be the unapologetic consummate playboy, while Aaric is still our good-natured vegan. The pacing, outside of the spice, was quick. This is an easy one- or two-day read. And while this series is darker than the Hello books—with poisonings and secret plots—it still felt lighthearted compared with a lot of what I've been reading in 2026. Maybe I just needed a chillaxed book with a few sexy scenes. I just started the latest Brynne Weaver, “Harvest Season”, the morning my ARC was sent to me. I think the book gods were telling me that I needed the sunshine of Rei’s personality and Quentin’s hidden smiles before I started the serial killer romcom.
What I didn’t like: I'm NOT a slow-burn queen. If something is marketed as spicy, I want something happening between the MCs well before the 70% mark. If this is supposed to be spicy rather than steamy, I wanted more, sooner. Yes, yes, it's a Hoss book, so of course we're getting “folds” and “slick.” Quentin did call her a “good girl” and made her use “Husband” to get what she wanted. He was a generous and sexy lover who understood the need for a little dominance and praise … but it took forever to get even a kiss on the cheek. I don't want YA-level romance until the characters are already married. This could just be me, and I totally understand that. I also struggled with one of my least favorite billionaire-romance plot lines: the FMC keeps dangerous or damaging information from her billionaire “I'll eliminate this problem in five minutes” partner because of pride or trust issues. Some readers may interpret that as an FMC trying to handle her own problems and responsibilities. I'm over here thinking: what's the point of fake-marrying a billionaire if you're not going to reap some of the major benefits, like protection? It's like marrying Bruce Wayne and having someone mess with you. Let Batman out of the cave. I love some vigilante justice. AGAIN…That could just be me, which I totally understand! Don’t come for me- or do. You don’t know who my husband is. I’d have my billionaire eliminate problems discreetly and then ask what he wanted for dinner without thinking twice.
Book: 4.25/5 Spice: 3/5 (when she lets us have it)

I’ll admit that I may not have been in quite the right headspace for Married to Lies when I started it, as I had just begun a Regency series that I was completely immersed in. That said, I still found a lot to enjoy in Rei and Quentin’s story.
I really liked the marriage-of-convenience premise, and I especially appreciated having a plus-size heroine at the centre of the story. I love that the book reinforces the idea that a woman’s size does not determine whether she is beautiful, desirable, or worthy of being loved. That representation was definitely one of my favourite parts of the book.
For me, personally, the main thing that was missing was a little more development between Rei and Quentin themselves. A lot of the focus was placed on external conflicts and challenges, which didn’t always feel quite as significant or satisfying as the amount of attention they received. I would have loved to see more of Rei and Quentin simply spending time together, getting to know one another, and allowing their relationship to develop more gradually.
I also found myself thinking that, at least from my perspective, the central conflicts felt more like secrets and things left unsaid than actual lies. There were things the characters weren’t telling each other or that weren’t fully elaborated on, rather than them actively deceiving one another. So personally, I found Married to Secrets to be a slightly more fitting description than Married to Lies.
Because Quentin’s feelings for Rei are established quite early on, I was also expecting Rei’s feelings to take a little longer to develop. Instead, she seemed to fall for him relatively quickly, considering how little time they actually spent together. This also made the transition to “I love you” feel a little sudden for me. I would have loved a bit more of that gradual emotional build-up before reaching that point.
I also found some of the additional POV chapters from other characters a little difficult to get into. I personally tend to prefer staying with the main characters, but I can definitely see the value in these chapters. They give us a better understanding of the other characters’ motivations and perspectives, and I imagine they will make their stories in the upcoming books more interesting. I especially noticed this when listening to the first book as an audiobook, where keeping track of multiple names and POVs could occasionally get a little confusing.
Overall, I enjoyed Rei and Quentin’s story and thought it was a good introduction to the series. The ending did feel a little more like a setup for what is still to come than a big, satisfying climax to their particular story, but it definitely left me curious about the other characters and where the series will go next.
A sweet marriage-of-convenience romance with a lovely plus-size heroine, plenty of potential for the series to build on, and characters I’m interested in getting to know better. 🌿
ARC review Anecdotal thoughts while reading Well that's not good Simon. Oh, I remember these kids from Married to Secrets released this past May. The premise is coming back to me. I'm excited to see how Quentin fares. Oh, didn't the guys work off a timeline for each other? I think I remember that. Wait a minute here ...isn't that how it started for Jada too? 🟨 Wait...wait....wait...from cleaning cart to town car? Are we in an episode of Undercover Boss? 🥸 Why would returning to your role ruin the company? 💒 💃 🕺 🤰 I remember Vote??? Adoption Oh Glamma ....swapping DNA 🤣 What a first statement to utter in the IMCU ... poor Q More and more, I kind of like the idea of a 🟨 wall. It really could be just the thing someone needs to "hear" on a rough day. Well, using Daniel is interesting. What were Daniel's thoughts on this?? Is Jada going to tell her the secret before Quentin can? Beef between Jude and Bryce? The vote? I can't remember why.... Oh, is that the Jude/Simon connection and why Jude is butting heads with Bryce??? Jude, that sounds like a miserable family visit. Your anxiety must be through the roof with Conrad and Jada. ⛳️ 😂 Was Quentin just shook that Rei had a lawyer, much less on speed dial?! 🥸 Oh 💩! Will Q piece it together? Will her prints be on it?? Jude, that was sweet. There is a good ❤️ under that bluster. I'm confused all over again about the deeper Jude/Simon connection. My guess was wrong. What was Conrad doing there? What was he up to? Papa Kelly...we don't "need" a man in order to succeed 😡 Is Conrad trying to sabotage Q's business? Takeover? Dirty definitely though Was Conrad stalking her? Witness protection program? Domestic abuse? Will it be Rei's part of her "renegotiated contract"? Keeping all this a secret from Conrad, right? Why is Jude trying to keep Jada and Twyla safe. Does it have to do with the daycare? Clever way to reinvent the business name and personal name. Now you are thinking Rei! Go get him Easton! Q, your thoughtful teddy bear self is awesome! "Is my job to manage emotions"... "not try and make you do something different so I feel more comfortable." It doesn't surprise me that Simon showed up .... but, his daughter?? She is the only one who hasn't tried to off Simon yet. She is up to no good while at this retreat that doesn't involve her. Mystery ✉️ How can you get to Q to tell him the truth while he is on the retreat with a 🔒 up 📱? Jude, are you trying seduction? It's this new with her or is there history? Is Courtneigh also Claire? Is Claire getting nack at Q amd this is why Conrad thinks things are being hidden? Claire/Courtneigh and Conrad could be in cahoots PLUS is she showing Conrad how to skim his own money? Could the PI help with this? Dang Rei!! You 🪨! You get more badass the sentence! Rei, are you going to comment and state your truth? Or expand upon it at least? Well, that wasn't who I expected to be served.

Ohh, my goodness I knew things were gonna really pop off with simon's kids from the last book but seriously. I really hope in the next book. We see that Simon is a feeling bad about his choices. Because of his choices, there's some seriously twisted things going on. Because he did not get the children, he deserved from what I can tell. He tried to be the best dad, but as it sometimes happens. Children don't always do what we tell them to and they become evil, little monsters. And unfortunately, he has 3. Well, maybe only two, i'm keeping my thoughts reserved on the one and you'll have to listen or read this book to find out which one i'm talking about. That might not be as bad as the others.
So this story is about a guy that has a self esteem issues because of a stutter, how many people you know that could relate? Because I know at least too. And so he writes her notes for months months before simon decided to do his wackadodle thing. And so he was already working on at least dating someone, but this was a long-term plan to him. And she decided to speed that up going Nope, you are going to talk to me in person. If you want to talk to me anymore. She put her foot down. I love it and because she put her foot down, she a little bit steamrolled him into fulfilling simon's wishes. A little faster than he intended, but it turned out. Okay. There was definitely some what the heck moments and oh, he did not kind of things, but this was a side character. Anna oh, she did not and that was another side character. Oh, yeah, I normally don't ramble on on my reviews. But I'm really liking this series. I bought the first one I got this one as an alc. I bought all the rest of the hello. Series, working my way through those. I'm loving this author's writing
I received this as an ARC from the author, and I’ve been on Kelsie Hoss’s ARC team for a while now. Ever since I came across the Hello series, I’ve been hooked on her writing — and once again, she did not fail in her quest to make me devour a book.
This is the second book in the Married To series. The first gave us Bryce and Jada, and this time we get Rei and Quentin.
It had been quite a while since I read the first book, so it did take me a minute to get myself back into the world and remember exactly who everyone was. But once it clicked? That was it. I didn’t stop reading.
I absolutely loved Rei and Quentin’s relationship. I loved them together, but I also really enjoyed getting both of their backstories and understanding everything that had brought them to this point.
I will say Quentin’s backstory caught me out slightly. It’s touched on fairly briefly before the story shifts its focus much more towards Rei and everything going on with her. So when Quentin’s story came back into play towards the end, it took me a minute to remember exactly what had happened. Once my brain caught up though, I loved how it all came together.
And then there are the other three men still waiting to get married…
There have been enough sly looks, suspicious comments and quiet little moments throughout these first two books that you just KNOW things are going on in the background. There are secrets sitting there waiting to unravel, and I have a feeling we’re only going to discover exactly what they mean when we get each of their stories.
Basically, Kelsie has already planted the seeds and now I desperately need to know what they all mean.
A great read that I completely devoured in around 48 hours. I absolutely cannot wait to get into the rest of the Married To series.
Man, the SECRETS they keep! This book had me on the edge of my seat and screaming, **“TELL HIM ALREADY!”** 😂
*Married to Lies* has so many amazing tropes: marriage of convenience, secret identity, billionaire romance, workplace romance, and grumpy/sunshine. Quentin and Rei both have troubled pasts that have left them with some serious trust issues, making it even harder for either of them to let their walls down.
It comes as a huge shock to Quentin’s friends when he actually takes an interest in someone—and an even bigger shock when that woman ends up working for their company and happens to be best friends with one of the co-founders’ wives.
As Quentin and Rei are thrown together, they’re forced to confront their pasts, work through their trauma, and figure out whether they can actually trust each other. And let me tell you… these two had me wanting to shake them more than once! 😂
There are SO many twists and turns throughout this story, with plenty of moments that had me thinking, **“No way! That cannot be happening!”** Just when I thought I had something figured out, Kelsie would throw another surprise at me.
I’m not usually a huge fan of cliffhangers, but somehow Kelsie managed to pull this one off without making me mad about it. Instead, I’m sitting here thinking…
**BUT CAN THE NEXT BOOK BE HERE ALREADY?!** 😩
If you love billionaire romance, marriage of convenience, hidden identities, workplace romance, secrets, emotional baggage, and a story that keeps you guessing, definitely add *Married to Lies* to your TBR!
This is such a fun series! I love the mystery behind the couples and I love trying to guess who the villain is, fairly certain I'll get it all wrong in the end anyway. I am excited to continue this series, and am SUPER excited to watch the character arc of Jude and see how his character fleshes out. Rei and Quentin are so dang cute together! Quentin is DOWN. BAD! for Rei and has been for sometime now, and now, he gets to make her his wife. I adore Jada and Rei's friendship, and who could forget Glamma? She is a riot, I am so happy she made a cameo in this book! The third act in this book WAS SO FREAKING FUN!! I didn't see it coming AT ALL!
This book can be read as an interconnected standalone, however, I strongly recommend and encourage you to start with book one, Married to Secrets. You will get a more in depth understanding of the characters and series plot that will enhance book twos reading experience.
Cindy Kay and Jakobi Diem narrate this book in DUET and they did an amazing job! I loved this listen!
Thank you, Kelsie Hoss, for an advanced copy of this eBook and audiobook. I loved this immersive read and can't wait for the next book to release in early 2027.
Obsessed is an understatement. Married to Lies by Kelsie Hoss got me bad. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Vibe Billionaire MMC x Plus Size FMC | Hidden Identity | Marriage of Convenience | Grumpy x Sunshine | Workplace Romance What I Loved The Tropes: Kelsie Hoss took some of my absolute favorite tropes: fake marriage, hidden identity, grumpy/sunshine and executed them so well. The tension in this was insane. The Lead Characters: I am a sucker for a curvy heroine and a protective, grumpy billionaire who loses his mind over her. Their chemistry and banter carried the entire book. The Pacing: The hidden identity aspect kept me turning pages way too late into the night. Every time they got close, I was holding my breath waiting for the secret to drop. Who Should Read This If you love workplace drama, secret identities, and the "we're only doing this for convenience" lie that immediately falls apart because they're down bad for each other... go grab this right now. Final Thoughts Seriously, do not sleep on this one. It’s out August 25th and it is worth every single page! It’s better than Married to Secrets in my opinion! Every single page left me wanting more!! Couldn’t put it down!
When I tell you that this book had me in a chokehold?? I went through so many emotions:stress, anxiety, fear, anger, joy, fear, stress, anxiety 😂😂😂😂
I loved Rei from how supportive and protective she was of Jayda in the Married to Secrets. I wanted to wrap her up in the tightest hug because she really was between a rock and hard place with the position that rat Conrad put her in, and her family is God awful. If her parents have no haters, I’m no longer in existence. Quentin is such a sweetheart and I love him for Rei. His family was so warm and supportive and welcoming and that’s exactly what Rei needed. Now onto the mess, what a mess omg. Jude is unhinged and he needs to tell the others the truth but he refuses and he is going to lose them all because of his behavior. I actually have so much beef with Simon because all of this is his fault and when I got to the end? I actually screamed in rage.
I genuinely cannot wait for the next book because I know Kelsie has more mess up her sleeve.
Married to Lies is book 2 in the Married series. I really enjoyed this ARC/ALC. Rei and Quentin had good chemistry and fit each other well. The drama to romance ratio was the perfect amount for me. One of the reveals actually had me surprised!
I liked seeing the snippets from the other POV's from past and future books in this series. It gives us a chance to look into the minds of the guys still to come. Kelsie has it set up in a way that has me really intrigued by how the rest of the story will unfold. Hopefully, Simon doesn't have any more surprises. 😬
One thing that annoys me with the miscommunication trope is when the person has tried telling the other character what's going on multiple times and they keep saying later, later, then they get angry because they didn't tell them sooner! Like, come on, seriously? 😒 She tried to tell you, shut up, and let her.
I'll definitely want to read this again when the rest of the series comes out. It looks like book 3 will pick up right where book 2 ended. I can't wait!
Thank you, Kelsie, for this ARC.

Quentin and Rei’s story is the continuation so to speak of the marriage clause of Simon’s will for the shares of MyHomes for 5 co-Founders from Married to Secrets (you need to read that first).
I loved that even though this is their story you get additional POVs from 3 other characters. Jude being one. Who from the first book for me I really hated but being able to start piecing who is, that is starting to chip away. I kind of want his book to be the last book we get.
The amount of ‘I didn’t see that coming’ moments Kelsie had in this book were quite a bit for me. Conrad had a bad taste in my mouth from the moment I met him. Same with Courtneigh just based on how her name was spelt.
Quentin is so gone for Rei from the beginning. I would definitely describe him as a shy teddy bear. Rei and her secret past so scandalous. I love their past overlapped.
Spice be spicing too. And even though it is a slow burn it didn’t bug me one bit.
In married to lies we follow Quinn and Rei. Quinn a successful CEO of My home company along side 5 more partners. Tall handsome and quiet. Rei a hidden successful maid company owner who hides as a maid just to make sure her company does its best. Both unknown of the secrets they hid. But the attraction between both is un palpable. The journey that brought them together is definitely a fairy tale one. A contract marriage to save a company and one that has saved both of them. But the secretes where to hard to keep when people where out to black mail Rei. But in the end they both overcame the obstacles and regained there life, love with no more obstacles or secrets. It was so perfect because no relationship is perfect you work hard on it to make it work.
I love Kelsey’s books this is the 4th ARC for me and trust me when I say I had to get the hello collection when I first read Hello trouble and now will get the married collection.
Lies, Lust, & Love A “marry or lose controlling stock of your company” ultimatum from a well-meaning, dying investor. A man with an injured heart who courts with post it notes on a company bulletin board. A woman trying to keep who she was hidden so who she is can have a career and a life. They take the matrimonial leap at the Eiffel Tower but their secret pasts begin to shine from the shadows and with corporate intrigue, attempted murders, and a story that has more dangerous curves than the leading lady, it’s a bumpy road to wedded bliss. A well-written page-turner. Keep a cold drink nearby or maybe just a bowl of ice so you can drop a cube in your shirt (or pants) after the scorching scenes ;-). This is the second book in the Married series (FYI: I have not read the first book however this works as a stand-alone). I received a free advanced readers copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review. @KelsieHoss
Quentin - he didn’t want to follow Simon’s rule but he didn’t want to lose the company him and his friends built, so he stepped up and decided the only woman he could ask to marry was the one that he had been leaving sticky notes (on the office building wall) … the one woman he didn’t actually talk to be kept admiring from a distance.
Rei - her secrets stayed with her, always, but she put on a face, she put on an act, no one would know who she really was, who she was behind the uniform she wore as a cleaner. She saw the sticky notes and finally one day decided to take action…dude…call more/text more or stop leaving notes, now the ball was in his court.
There is so much to this story that if I said any more would take away the surprise factor, like HOLY COWPIES, shock, surprise, you are not gonna believe it…so I’ll just leave you with this.
I truly enjoy all of Kelsie Hoss’ books and own them all so when I got selected to do an ARC I was stupid excited. I have to admit, this is my new favorite. I haven’t read the first book in the series but it was easy to step in with book two. Book one does star Bryce from the Hello series.
In this new series she changes up her style and adds some mystery and I love it. I’m so ready for the next book.
Without giving away too much, five guys and their investor form a deal in which the guys have to preform certain tasks to get the shares of their company back from their investor before he dies or those shares go to his *unique* children.
The relationship that emerges between the mmc’s mother and the fmc absolutely made my heart happy. They deserved each other.
Like all of her books there is a plus sized female main character, a sexy male character and a happy ending.
Since finishing Married to Secrets a few months ago, I had some pretty mixed emotions about where the series was going, nothing bad, just different from most of my reading. I loved how Married to Lies picks up at the cliff hanger of the last book and the story continues, we are already built up and we keep going. You can't help but love Rei and Quentin. Each have such loving qualities but each are carrying so many secrets that turns into some pretty serious omissions. The interwoven POV from others ties the story together and moving forward, creating a lot of intrigue of what is coming. The spice is the perfect amount, an absolute chef's kiss! And that cliff hanger... how can we be left hanging like this? Guess Hoss did what she needed as we will be sitting on the edge of our seats until the next book!
Kelsie has done it again! Had me hooked from the first chapter, as usual. When the lies and twists start on the first page, how do you put the book down?
The whirlwind romance between Quentin and Rei has to be my favourite (though I may say that after every book of Kelsie's I read). The dynamics of a marriage of convenience with a foundation of secrets in the past... what could go wrong?
I love that we don't just focus on the couple. Though their love story really makes you want to believe in romance, second chances and success though the world is against you, it was nice to tie in friendships and families.
you will definitely find at least one character you can relate to. I can't wait for the next book in this series!
“The hard thing about mistakes is it’s impossible to know you’ve made one until you’ve seen the outcome of your decision.”
I love how all these stories are leading up to the bigger picture. As much as cliffhangers kill me with this series it leaves you thinking and anticipating the next book that much more with theories. Starting out I kept thinking gosh the title is lies so this going to be hard to push through and not yell at them while reading but it was all very well laid out and I only got a little frustrated with Rei here and there. Rei & Quentin story was so sweet though and I cant wait to see what personalities the other founders end up with. I recieved this book as a ARC from the author and this is my honest review.

Book #2 Married series
Kelsie Hoss is an amazing author that writes curvy girl romances because yes us curvy girls deserve love too. She writes such amazing and captivating love stories for all romance lovers to enjoy.
This story keeps you invested in the story, with the captivating characters and the plot twist you will be on the edge of your seat waiting to see what is happening next. I really liked the characters and their story. i found it to be easy to follow and enjoyed.

Every single book I read by Kelsie Hoss leaves me sighing in a happy, contented way, and Married to Lies is no different. The easy, comfortable writing style makes the story move quickly and the characters easy to enjoy. Love the Rei/Quentin dynamic. They are great characters separately but together, they will be a force. Both have reasons for their walls, but there is just something about the silent, gentle, big man, Rei can't resist. Quentin has always admired Rei from afar, but if it wasn't for Simon's ultimatum, would he have ever made a move. They agree to the terms for the marriage of convenience. The walls start tumbling and that's, of course, when the world interferes.
Save the Date - August 25, 2026! You won't want to put this book down, so take the day off, get cozy and grab your copy of Married to Lies. This book will have you on the edge of your seat to see where it goes. Kelsie is amazing at giving us characters who are easy to fall in love with while also making them complex and extremely relatable. Quentin and Rei are perfect for each other, she's bold and feisty where he is quiet and reserved. This book will have you questioning if their marriage can survive the truth of their pasts but also cheering them on because we all deserve to find our perfect match.
Rei has a secret admirer pen pal who when he finally comes out of the shadows, pulls her into the race to meet the conditions to save the co-founder’s control of MyHome. Rei and Quentin both have pasts that might be catching up to them before they can.
I have loved the Rei character from the first book and getting to know her better did not disappoint! I wish she didn’t rely on her secrets, that was kind of frustrating but the whole host of mysteries was super compelling and really sucks you in. Great spice and I absolutely love the dynamic between Q and Rei, they are adorable even with such a quick timeline. Can not wait for the rest of this series!
I've been anxiously waiting for this book, and Kelsie Hoss hits a home run for the 2nd time in this series of the five guys who own MyHome. This is a great story about the relationship of Rei and Quentin, a self-made billionaire and the owner of a cleaning company who is hiding her identity and posing as one of the cleaners for their biggest client. This book has well-developed characters who melded well together and the backstories of each were so helpful and made for an enjoyable story. The good, bad and ugly were written about and the author made this an easy, well-paced read. I am so looking forward to the next book so I can follow along with their stories.
I was lucky enough to be able to read an ARC for Married to Lies. From the first page I knew this book was a winner. Rei is a funny, smart woman who has secrets. Quentin is a founding member and doesn’t easily trust. Grab some sticky notes and enjoy the ride. Such a good book and easy read Romance, Lies, Fake Marriage, SO MANY twists I absolutely didn’t see coming!!! Get ready to lose some sleep because you will not be able to put this book down!!
PS. Am I the only one hoping Simon is tricking us all!! I love that old man and love what he is making the founding members do!! (No spoilers here!!)
4.5⭐2.5🌶️ ARC Dual POV First Person 371pgs Married series, book #2 🇺🇸 Author, characters, and setting Quentin and Rei I loved each MC, Quentin is such a sweetheart, his crush on Rei is so adorable. Rei is so strong and sadly has been failed by so many people in her life, she deserves to finally have someone really see her. Rei while mini golfing ⛳ = 🤣🤣🤣 And her rant about woman's fashion - accurate. Her family sucks. Q's family is delightful though. And we get to see glamma again! 💕
While you *could* read this as a standalone, it would be much better to start at book one and continue on. It's mostly dual pov, but there are a few chapters from others pov sprinkled throughout.
This series has so many twists and turns, it's crazy! Every time I think I can see where the story is going, Kelsie throws something else at us that shocks me into gasping out loud, complaining to my partner about fictional characters being jerks, or gushing at the absolute sweetness. An absolute cracker of a story, with yet another strong FMC I can relate to and a MMC I fall in love with. I particularly liked the storyline about Rei's family, especially the end - even though it wasn't a happily ever after. I can't wait to read more, and I'm definitely going to re-read this again and again!
This book is soooo good! I loved it even more than the first. I'm obsessed with Rei! She's so sassy and fun. Quentin is the total opposite of her but somehow they fit perfectly together. I love the way he sees her for who she really is! I enjoyed following their journey and unraveling the lies as the story went on. My jaw was on the floor multiple times! And that cliffhanger ending has me ready to dive right into the next book. I can't wait to see where this series goes next! If you like romance books with a side of drama, this one is for you. I highly recommend Married to Lies!
