One wrong text puts her body, her job, and her heart in his hands.

Lila is barely holding her life together when one accidental sext lands in the hands of Ethan, her billionaire boss and the last man who should ever see that side of her. She expects fallout, but gets focused attention, dangerous heat, and control that makes her feel seen.

Ethan is controlled in every room until Lila gets under his skin. At work, he stays cold and untouchable, but in private he wants her honest, open, and aware of what she’s choosing. Lila has survived control before, and wanting him forces her to ask whether surrender can ever be safe.

Then the threats begin. Someone is watching, pressing on Lila’s old wounds, and turning Ethan’s past into a weapon. As danger closes in and the secret she’s carrying changes everything, Lila has to decide whether running keeps her safe or leaves her alone.

When Ethan finds her again, the story shifts from obsession to accountability. He can protect, but he has to learn how to listen. She can survive alone, but she has to decide whether she still wants to. Together, they stop mistaking silence for safety.

Lila grows from guarded and survival-driven into someone who can name her boundaries, own her needs, and choose intimacy without surrendering herself. Ethan shifts from possessive protector into a man who learns love requires restraint and listening. Their relationship evolves from accidental sexting and power exchange into a high-heat partnership built on consent, trust, and honesty.

An ultra-steamy, billionaire boss romance with accidental sexting, age gap tension, workplace taboo, secret pregnancy, dominance and surrender, protective obsession, and second chance heat. It’s about wanting without disappearing, protecting without owning, and choosing love without letting fear make the rules.

The Elevator Pitch: A guarded assistant accidentally exposes her hunger to the billionaire boss who rules every room but loses control when it comes to her. What begins as a private game of rules, surrender, and dangerous want turns into something far more vulnerable when her past starts closing in. As desire becomes trust and fear becomes a secret she can’t outrun, they must decide whether love can be claimed without becoming another kind of cage.

Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥 Ultra-Steamy / Erotic Romance

Sexting the Boss by Sofia Summers was so much more than just a simple workplace romance. The story mixes office tension, accidental sexting chaos, emotional vulnerability, and slow-building attraction in a way that kept me completely invested the entire time. From the first message mistake, the tension between Ethan and Lila only kept growing, and every interaction between them felt loaded with chemistry and anticipation.

Ethan starts off with that classic powerful, intimidating boss energy, but as the story unfolds, you see how deeply attentive and emotionally invested he becomes when it comes to Lila. I loved that their relationship wasn’t only built around attraction. Beneath all the teasing, tension, and flirty texting, there’s genuine care, emotional support, and growing trust that slowly develops between them. His protective side especially started showing more as their relationship became more complicated, which added a lot of depth to his character.

Lila was such a fun heroine because she felt relatable and real while navigating all the awkwardness and emotional confusion that comes from accidentally crossing professional boundaries. She’s funny, independent, and emotionally cautious, but her connection with Ethan slowly pushes her outside of her comfort zone. I really enjoyed watching her balance embarrassment, attraction, and vulnerability while trying to figure out whether their relationship could actually become something real.

One of my favorite parts of the book was honestly the texting dynamic itself. The flirtation, emotional honesty, and accidental intimacy created through their messages made the chemistry between them feel even stronger. The story balanced humor, emotional moments, and romantic tension really well, which made it incredibly easy to stay hooked chapter after chapter.

Overall, Sexting the Boss was a fun, emotional, and surprisingly layered romance that blended workplace tension with real emotional connection. Ethan and Lila’s story had humor, chemistry, vulnerability, and enough tension to keep me turning pages the whole time.

Some Dreams do Come True -
Lila had been lusting after her boss, but she never did anything about it, as she didn’t want to jeopardise her job. Ethan’s life had been all about his company ever since the debacle with his ex, but he felt a connection with Lila, that made him take a really big risk. The agreement between Lila and Ethan was meant to be a BDSM relationship, but no everyone was happy with them being together, which led to her finding herself in a difficult situation.

Unfortunately, not long after Lila and Ethan changed the dynamics of their relationship, she made the decision to walk away from after she found out her life was about to change, which caused him anxiety when she disappeared. Fortunately, Ethan received information that led him to find Lila, where he discovered the reason she left. Once Ethan and Lila reunited, they took the opportunity to work together to resolve the situation permanently, so they could get back on track towards building the life they deserved.

Without saying too much, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this fantastic story with wonderful characters who went through a few hurdles and found love, whilst building trust. Grab a copy of this book now and you won’t regret it.

The best thing about this book is Ethan’s respect for boundaries and consent. The writing itself is also pretty good. But the way the story unfolds? I honestly just didn’t get it.

Ethan is a billionaire, much older than Lila, and she also works for him as his assistant. Their relationship begins after Lila drunkenly sexts him, which eventually leads to a secret relationship complete with an NDA.

From there, the story starts feeling increasingly unrealistic. Somehow Ethan’s ex and Lila’s ex are connected and involved in this strange manipulative game, and it all felt unnecessarily dramatic. I also couldn’t fully understand how Lila’s trauma was supposed to align with Ethan’s kink. To me, those elements seemed more contradictory than emotionally compelling.

What really didn’t work for me, though, was the romance itself. Ethan and Lila suddenly declare their love for each other, but I never felt like their relationship had enough emotional depth to justify it. Most of their interactions revolve around sex, while meaningful conversations or genuine emotional connection are barely shown. They had chemistry, sure, but I didn’t really see the substance behind the love story.

Get comfortable you won’t put it down until the last page has been turned. Lila has been through it with her ex-works as an assistant to her billionaire boss during the day, very good at her job, fantasizing about him every night, and everything changes one drunken night out with her girls. Ethan sexy as all get out billionaire own a company that requires all his attention or so he thinks, he is a workaholic who doesn’t know how to slow down until he receives a text message from his assistant the women he has secretly watched but of course that is a line he would never cross, and his path changed as well despite the business he had to run. The magnetic pull between them couldn’t be ignored and the more they both tried to remain professional the stronger pull between them grew so much that it led to a relationship throw into that both of their ex’s. Lila’s came looking for her wanting her back and Ethan’s ex. well she is a piece of work and a horrible person especially when connects with her ex’s and when they start to undermined his company where are they headed, will they be honest with the world about their dating, where are they headed, and can they find happiness somewhere along away?

Lila is slowly becoming more like her old self, but still lacks confidence. Her ex did a real number on her and she ran and has been hiding since. Ethan is her boss and hides what he's thinking. She is smart, quick, efficient and always anticipates what he will need. Ethan has started to rely on Lila, his assistant for accurate information even when others fail. One night after a few to many drinks with friends Lila accidentally texted her boss a slightly racy photo. Ethan immediately responds but not in the way she feared. Ethan loves control and instinctively knows Lila craves it. Sexting also leads to actual encountersthat definitely border professional boundaries. Unexpectedly they face a common enemy whom they don't know is connected. But Ethan craving for complete control is close to her exs obsession and someone is stirring the pot creating new fears and hesitation. Despite this the sexting has become complex but never stops between the two.

Poor Lila, whilst texting with her friends she sent a sext to her boss by mistake.
Lila is a complex character, extremely efficient and in control at work, despite her feelings for her boss. But as the story unfolds a different side to her character emerges which she tried to keep covered.
Ethan, her boss, is definitely dominant both at work and at home. Surprisingly though he does however accept boundaries from Lila.
In between their growing attraction, a face from the past appears to cause anguish to Lila. The suspense side of the story comes to the fore linking everything from the boardroom to the bedroom. A steamy read in between putting the wrongs to right.

Lila... I love her friend group... and their group texts that they send... so many LOL moments there!! And it's a great set up for her to accidentally send a naughty pic to her boss... 😅

Ethan... I love how he just jumps right in & responds to her text in a sexy way. 😍

They have chemistry.... and still have to work together... there's a good balance between the tension & spice and there's even a bit of light suspense & a bit of laughter.

I enjoyed the primary characters and their interactions. The part I had a hard time with is the troublemakers who want to ruin things for them.

Because of this, I had to read the story in spurts. This is the time I miss print books when I skim and flip forward to make sure things work out - at least in particular sections. Instead of just freezing and setting aside then reading a few pages - freeze, repeat.

Took me much longer to read than it might have if it had focused on a different time of their lives. If you do not have the same triggers as I, I think you will read more quickly than I did.

I thought the story was interesting and a bit different. It wasn't all about spice and sex, even though that part was definitely on point! The story developed quickly and easily. There wasn't a dramatic or tense ramp up to some scene where everything goes sideways. There were clearly good guys and bad guys, and the vibe each character put out was easy enough to read. I really ejoyed the characters and the story, it took turns I wasn't expecting when you've read as many books of this style as I have. Sofia definitely thought this one out, so it would remain something new, fun and interesting!.

Another great addition to Summers' Billionaire Baby Daddies series. This book features main characters Ethan and Lila. Summers delivers an emotional workplace romance that is well balanced and captivating. I loved the texting elements since that's such a modern use of communication and I love the banter, flirtation and humor mixed perfectly with sweet romance and steamy chemistry. A great read and I'm excited for more from Summers!

I am a huge fan of office romances, and this book definitely hit the spot. It delivered on the classic tropes I love—the tension, the power dynamics, and the secret baby element added a layer of emotional stakes that kept me turning the pages. The chemistry between the leads was palpable, and the "silver fox" dynamic was handled perfectly. It was a fast-paced, enjoyable read that provided the exact kind of escapism I look for in this genre. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a bit of workplace drama mixed with sweet romance.

I like Lila very much!
She is smart, hard working and try to not depend on anyone.
And she is strong in her own way - even when inside is fearful, even when she run away.
I liked how she put boundaries and demand Ethan to respect them.
And I like that he do just that. A powerful man who give her the power.
A wonderful love story!.

Flirty

This a contemporary workplace romance that blends flirty digital miscommunication with emotional vulnerability, offering readers a light, fast-paced escape. It’s very much in line with the author’s signature style: playful banter, high-heat chemistry, and characters who grow through their mistakes.

Sometimes you just want to run away and start over. But when is it time to stop running away?

I loved this book. Started off strong in the spicy category and continued till the end. The story had a great plot and resolution. I enjoyed reading Ethan and Lila story, and at times the story was rather predictable, but it was a great read for two days. I will have to read more by Ms. Summers.

This book is so good and it is boss and assistant taboo, younger woman and older man taboo story that will definitely have you engrossed from the beginning until the end. When Lila, accidentally sends a picture to her boss Ethan and sexting happens can they leave it away from the office? Or will both their crazy exs try to destroy them? Plus a surprise pregnancy happens. I throughly enjoyed this book.

One night while texting with her friends, Lila accidentally sends her boss an inappropriate message. Lila has had a crush on her boss for months, but nothing happens until an accidental text. The photo was supposed to go to her girlfriends but went to her boss. Ethan has been noticing Lila for sometime not realizing that she has been feeling the same. The road to happily ever after has bumps in the road that the pair will have to navigate, an ex that she ran from.

This was a good read. Liked that the getting together was straight forward. Didn’t like that Lila ran instead of telling Ethan what was happening. Bit if a mystery about what is going on towards the end but that is well resolved. Well written with interesting characters and good steam. Another entertaining book by the author.
