As soon as I saw those teasers dropping I knew I had to grab this, love the tropes, love the cover, love the author, no brainer to read it..

God where to even start with this, I grabbed my coffee, sat down on my comfy couch and before I knew it I'd finished this, this author has such an uncanny knack at pulling me in, everything I've read by her are unique, unforgettable, unputdownable and leave you craving more.



She was there (wrong time, right place) to get the story of a lifetime, only to be smack dab in the middle of a riot, men in there for unthinkable crimes have one thing they want...Her...And they will stop at nothing to get her. Her only salvation is to rely on Stone the notorious killer to save her..

Stone Blackthorne, is currently serving a life time sentence for murder but his story isn't so cut and dry, there's many holes in his story which don't add up, and like a dog with a bone Aria is going to prise them out of him. She's followed his story since his incarceration and is prepared to throw some hard questions his way.



I loved these two, the banter, the twists and turns, the reconnecting, on the run, dodging cops, this threw everything it could at me and I lapped up every second of it.

I really liked this one! It kind of has an abrupt ending and less rom com feel for me but I really enjoyed the storyline and both main characters. Definitely worth the read!

Oops! I’m Wanted Again might be the perfect dark romantic comedy. Sheridan Anne mixes a prison break, a wildly devoted murderer, sharp banter, and lots of spice into a romance that feels fun.

Junior journalist Aria Ashford walks into a prison expecting an interview with convicted murderer Stone Blackthorne. A prison riot leaves her fleeing alongside him as his very attractive and mouthy hostage. Stone’s interest in Aria is more personal than she realizes. Their escape soon becomes a dangerous trip filled with police, secrets, sexual attraction, and questionable decision making.

Aria's mouth never stops. I laughed out loud at several of her comebacks. Her introduction of an elderly woman to alien smut was so on brand for her. Her response to stumbling across a pentagram might have been even funnier. Telling a possible barbed demon that it could watch her and Stone, but could not participate was perfectly suited to her personality.

Stone brings exactly the level of devotion I expect from a dark romance boyfriend. He is dangerous, obsessive, protective, and completely gone for Aria. His devotion gives the darker material a leg to stand on while Aria’s humor keeps the book playful. The spice appears at just the right moments rather than overtaking the plot.

The romance had me kicking my feet by the happily ever after. I even caught the earlier foreshadowing for the renovation and farm revival. I can tell that Sheridan Anne spent time with some post its and a timeline to plot the clues.

The paperback deserves some appreciation. The character art and Polaroid sticker were such fun personal touches. They made the physical copy feel special. The Britney Spears reference in the title was the final little treat.

Pick this up if you are looking for a dark romantic comedy with a criminal on the run, an outrageous heroine, filthy humor, surprising sweetness, and an Oops!... I Did It Again wink? Sheridan Anne knows exactly what she is doing.

After about 40% I skimmed this pretty hard. It started out promising but the characters just didn't do it for me and the whole Amnesia storyline wasn't all that interesting. Honestly one of my most hated tropes so that's on me, but either way I already wasn't enjoying the writing of these characters before that came into play.

If you ask me what made me add this one to my TBR, I wouldn't be able to tell you. But my best guess would be the cover and the fact that it was marketed as a a dark rom com. Other than that, I had absolutely no clue what this book was about. I went into this one completely blind, and all I am going to say is, SHAME ON ALL OF YOU FOR NOT RECOMMENDING THIS BOOK TO ME!

Like why is no one talking about this book? Some of y'all call yourself influencers but not a single one of you influenced me to read this book and that was a damn shame and since no one influenced me, I'll just be the one to influence you!

Like I had mentioned, I went into this book completely blind and I am so glad I did because it was like a box of chocolates, I didn't know what I was gonna get and what I got was a journalist who nailed THE interview of the century with a ruthless prisoner who is serving several life sentences behind bars after brutally killing six men only for there to be a prison riot during the interview which results in a prison break. Now the journalist is on the run with this prisoner only to find out they have a past! PLOT TWIST! When I tell you, this plot gave me life! I was living for the plot. I thought the plot was unique and fun. Yes there are dark elements in this book but it definitely learned into the rom com side with snarky banter that made me giggle.

I did listen to the audiobook for Oops! I'm Wanted Again and what I tell you it was absolute perfection! It is duet narration by Brooke Daniels and Lee Samuels and these two did a fabulous job at bringing this book to life. By far my favorite thing about this audiobook was Brooke. Her narration was so beautiful. Her inflections and how she narrated felt very conversational which made you almost forget that you were reading. Not to mention I felt like her voice was very soothing.

Overall, this will go down as one of my favorite reads this year! So please put this one on your TBR!

I listened to the audio of this one and it was sooo good.

This follows Aria who has just got her big break and secured an interview with convicted felon Stone Blackthorne, currently serving life for murder. But Stones story has holes and Aria is determined to find out the truth. Imagine her surprise when she finds out she’s top of his murder list for reasons unknown to her and oh yeah, she’s currently helping him escape prison!

Not your usual story line which I LOVED as it leaves you guessing how Aria and Stone are getting out of their situation.

I really can’t say much more about this without spoilers but you have to read this.

That title plays for both characters 🤌

Stone in prison for life but with a vendetta to uphold. Aria, a journalist gets the scoop on his story and then their world is turned upside down. She is the top of his k!ll list, though once you start reading you get the reasons why. Her banal banter is amusing, her non stop chattering in order to antagonise him is great. Stone spent 7 years building himself up and as such is a big, wall of muscles not to mention his height too.

It was a relatively quick read, that flowed well within the parameters that gives us a plot with some amusing moments, spicy times, violence/m^*der leading us toward their HEA.

Sheridan is an expert at writing hot, dangerous men. In whom, by 3 or 4 chapters have me and the FMC in a literal chokehold. Stone is 6'7", a beast locked up to serve 190years, give or take, and in the end you will be rooting for his HEA.

Sometimes people do bad things for good reasons. Sometimes people get dealt crap hands. This is a book of unfolding truths, healing and new beginnings. Lots of laughs and struggles, she said dark romcom and well it was. I laughed, I swooned, and I got a little grossed out.

There's a few spicy scenes that are incredible. The danger, the living and loving in the moment.

It sounded good. The first chapter was loud, thought maybe it was a cover but up until I called it quits, this was read with a grimace. I found Aria to be the one that you hope dies in a horror asap. Stone was alright. The illustrations cut off any character imagination. I was curious about why and what happened that night but it was loud and Aria gave me a headache. Not for me.

Interesting book with a plot that definitely kept me reading!
That being said, the humor just didn't really work for me. I know it's supposed to be a rom-com, but I honestly didn't find it that funny and never really got those rom-com vibes 🥲

I also felt like something was missing when it came to the characters.
I wanted more emotions, more character development, and more meaningful moments between them. A lot of their relationship seemed to revolve around sexual tension and spicy scenes, and I never fully connected with them as a couple!
And I don’t get why she suddenly after being obsessed with him for years that she gets her memories back!!
They had some cute moments and they would do anything for each other!
The writer makes the mmc out to be some beast with super strength and I didn’t like it, it was hot but unrealistic😅😂

The ending also felt a little rushed, and there were several moments throughout the book where the plot moved very quickly 😅

Overall, it was an entertaining read with an interesting premise, but I was left wanting more depth, more feelings, and a stronger connection to the characters!

As always, Sheridan has killed it again with this one !! First of all, she didn’t tell anyone she was releasing it and then BAM, amazing dark romcom. I have loved every Sheridan book I have read. They are always dark and make you connect with every single one of her characters. This one was no different, but she added some amazing humor for a twist. The build up of enemies to lovers took a whole new level because the two main characters have a twisted past you don’t see coming. I loved everything about this one !

The tension, action, angst, humor, and spice were top notch.
Stone is now at the top of my list for book boyfriends lol.
There was enough going on in the book that I was entertained & wondering what would happen next throughout the whole book, which I finished in 24 hours.
Also, if you read it on Kindle, there's a link at the end to get a bonus ending and I highly recommend reading that if you enjoyed the rest of the book.

This was a fun read that kept me on my toes the entire time, I was rooting for Stone and then I wasn’t again and then I thought one or both of them were going to die but I was also so confused in the beginning but it eventually did make sense

The way that Aria slowly remembered things and who Stone was to her was interesting, and how her moral compass changed from the beginning of the book to the end. Or at least the way it seemed like it did when the book continued to have you second guessing with her😅

But the action, the mysterious past, and the romance between Aria and Stone made for a wild ride from start to finish and it was just what I needed right now🤭

It flowed so well with twists and turns. I love a sassy FMC and protective MMC.
If you are looking for a book that delivers on ups and downs, banter, tough love and sweet endings this is for you!!

I’m a lil disappointed in this one I won’t lie.
I went in with high hopes, and was so stoked to get my hands on the SE of this book from an event last month however it did not wow me at all.
Overall it was just average, the banter really wasn’t all that great and the spice didn’t win me over either.

I’m not sure I’d call it a rom-com more dark romance 😅 between the prison riot and all the murder, there was no lightening the mood. I did enjoy it, though. It just felt like there was something still missing.

All through the prison riot and the subsequent escape, I was all in on this. However, everything after that section of the book kind of went downhill for me and I just found myself having less and less fun as the book went on.

The ending though was the absolute killer for me. I'm sorry, but the entire part with Aria and Stone stumbling upon this town where apparently no one cares they're on the run was so bizarre that it had me thinking this had to be some tie in to another series the author wrote because on it's own it made zero sense. The worst was the elderly sheriff and his wife who strangely decided to basically adopt them as the children they never had or whatever. I did not buy that whole 'found family' type of relationship at all. Also, are you seriously trying to tell me that the two leads end up just living in this weird ass town for the rest of their lives becoming farmers? I mean, while I didn't expect them to get off scott free legally, I would've taken them reuniting after 10 years in prison over this. At the very least the author could have made them run off together overseas or something. I don't know, words can't describe how unsatisfying that conclusion was.
