Overall, this was a solid 2.5-3.00 for me.
Initially I was hooked and cheering for Iman to get her HEA. But it didn’t take long for me to become annoyed with her and the lack of healing over the Girard thing. Kai deserved better.
Definitely wasn’t a fan of the Dream and Dez storyline. I think it’s because what happened between them didn’t occur often enough in front of the audience. And the two week jumps ahead wasn’t enough for me to believe in their connection. It was a trauma bond.
Also the gotcha moments were too obvious, not my fav.
Overall, this was a solid 2.5-3.00 for me.

Yes!
This book was so good. My heart hurt for Iman. I wanted to jump in the book and fight those fools for her. I’m so happy she had a great support system. Reese was surely my kind of friend. Everything happened shush how it was supposed to. Definitely recommend!

This was a good time. Poor baby Iman got left at the alter on her birthday. After that my girl was Jaded but a one night stand left a lasting impression on both parties. I loved Kai. He was intentional and bout his business. Iman did take too long for me to get it together. I understand her hesitation but girl let that man love you!
Dez and Dream met due to a tragic incident. A connection neither one of them expected was formed. I enjoyed watching these two friendship grow but some side forces made the road rocky. I was so glad when they got it together cuz Dez was not about to play bout his kids.
Overall enjoyed reading this. Loved the sides characters. Malaysia was crazy crazy. There wasn’t enough karma for the ex and his girl. I needed them to pay heavily. Otherwise I would recommend.

Iman got on my nerves with her wishy washiness towards Kai when he was showing her that her was nothing like her ex. She had a right to be cautious but holding on to past trauma was affecting her relationship with Kai when her ex fiancé and friend went on with their lives. I was glad when she got it together so that she could experience real love from a real man. Dez was blessed to have Dream behind him when he had his accident to call for help, give him CPR, and pray over him……His saving grace🙏🏽 I’m still wondering why Kai didn’t do a background check on Malaysia and why her mom didn’t warn him about her mental illness because she was beyond cray-cray and needed to be monitored to make sure that she was taking her medication. I knew Jalil was a snake from the beginning and had a hand in cutting Dez’s brake lines when he went behind Dez’s back to make that deal with Ace when Dez had shut business with Ace down. It’s sad that Ace’s kids didn’t even miss his absence after he was unalived because he was an absentee parent. I like the fact that Dez kept in touch with Dream’s kids even when they had fell out and he swallowed his pride and apologized to Dream so they could get back on track together. I did want more of a downfall for Girard and Jasmine thought. Overall I enjoyed the book.

That’s A Good Man Savannah🤭
This was my first book from this author and now I have to go through her catalog..this was definitely a 10/10!
This book had me cackling and also tearing up at times.
Iman surely needed therapy and I probably do now because really sis?
Kai, you gave Malaysia way too many chances. After she made those comments at the hospital, that should have been it. Way too many private chats in the studio for me.
Every woman needs friends like Reese and Dream. Not only were they ride or die but they held her accountable and didn’t sugarcoat things.
My favorite character was Dream! She was that woman. Spoke up, was loyal but didn’t take sh** and was an excellent mom. Loved this book!!!!

Love me a secret baby❤️
This was a new to me author & this book was pretty good. I love a good secret baby book and I feel like this author did good with it.
- Iman did work my nerves at least twice while I was reading this but she got it together
- Malaysia was beyond off her rockers, but the girl had me cracking up especially with the “Dr. B***”😂
- Reese was hilarious and just said whatever came across his mind
- Des almost had me ready to jump through the book and shake him for not taking a minute and thinking, but he got it together
There were a couple grammar errors and a few times when the author might’ve forgot which point of view she was writing in but would switch back to the correct one. Other than that I really did enjoy this quick read

Unexpected
Wow, this was a great read. I loved the humor mixed into this story. That damn Reece made this book worthwhile and had me in tears laughing so hard. The only downside of this story was having a friend that you considered a brother turn against and a woman acting so crazy over a man. Why was it not written for Kai to find out what crazy woman did to Shameka. I was a bit turned off with Iman, but the other characters made the story worthwhile and I would recommend this book.

Same stories
I love all the books I read from K. Renee. My only problem is that I feel like all her books are the same with the same story. Most of her books talk about people meeting then hiding a baby years later or a aunt,friend or sibling are the running comedian in the family. I just want her to write something different for a change, because out of all her books maybe one or two are different but all the rest of her books are similar. Please do something different but really good in the future. It's all love tho and I will still support.

Dr Bailey’s one night out changed her life
One night changed everything. Iman decided to be spontaneous a year after being heartbroken. 2 years later and she’s runs back into Mr One night (Kai). Kai is that guy… Mr BDE! I love everything about him! He didn’t play at all! I love me some Dez too. Reece is a darn fool. I’m glad Iman and Dream have a friend like him. He kept me laughing. Wish there was more! Job well done!

This was so beautifully written. We learned about the characters and how the intertwined. Imani worked my nerves some, but glad she got it together. I loved Zai for her and she deserved all the happiness after she was played by her ex n friend. Dream with her kids was everything and glad Dez was on her immediately because Grace deserved happiness. Malaysia was just crazy. Jalisco and Ace deserved everything that happened to them. This book was everything.

This was such an engaging story! The character development and the plot kept me turning the pages nonstop. This was my first time reading work by this author, and it definitely will not be my last.
I loved watching the characters grow and evolve throughout the story. The book had the perfect mix of drama, street justice, spice, deception, and pure delusion lol. Every chapter kept me invested and wanting more!

The way Kai and Dr. Bailey met was crazy and then she was a little green to it all because she had only been with one man and then he did her dirty with her “best friend” and those are the ones you have to look out for! I love her support group especially Reese. He was the best kept me laughing. I love the way there love story came about and blossomed. It flowed naturally and it kept me from beginning to end. I didn’t read the first book but after reading this book I’m mad and glad because that book was on 🔥 but that’s to be expected coming from you that dam Malaysia was bat shyt crazy lol and her being related to Jasmine is crazy but Imani finally got to put them 🐾🐾🐾🐾 on her was the best way to get her lick back lol

Beautiful
I enjoyed everything about the story. The main characters were perfect each other. Then you got true bestfriends that got you covered from all sides. Love, craziness, drama, action, family and so much love. K Renee didn't disappoint... well lets be honest.... She's NEVER DISAPPOINTED ME!

Love All Around
This story was so nice. Had just enough of the cray crays, betrayal and situations that without communication could go all kinds of wrong. A one night stand turned out to be two people locked in for life. A tragic accident turned out to be, life is but a Dream. The flow, the outcomes and ending is everything. Loved it all.

I knew this would be a great read. K Renee can do no wrong in my book. I’m an was getting on my nerves like she was perfect but I’m glam she got her wake up call. Dez went back and got his woman and it didn’t take a long time to be in his feelings. I just wish these stories didn’t end. This was great but o expected nothing less.

Good Read
This was a good one but just a little different than her previous works. Don’t get me wrong K. Rene Still has a magical pen. I’m used to Ma, Gabe and Nas crazy butts. The way these men loved their women and children was beautiful, but the punishment to their enemies was soft, but good. I continue to read her books .

Great Love Stories
I really enjoyed this book and was very impressed with the fact that the typos were minimal. I would like to add: The word is “wrath” not raft. I often wonder if authors are using software that allows you to use your voice because some of grammatical errors are hilarious.

an okay book, just not my preference
An okay book. I wouldn’t read again, lord knows Iman worked my nerves. I can’t stand women like her who makes a good man suffer from what someone else did and her comments about drug money without even listening to him. I was ready for Zakai to find his queen who deserved him and didn’t play no games but then Iman got out of her own way.

It was EVERYTHING!!!!
I really enjoyed this book. The story wasn’t predictable and kept me all in from the beginning. Malaysia should’ve gotten a lot more than she did. She was on one forreal. I loved Reece..everybody needs a him!!! He was my favorite cus baby he reads down everytime! I loved how everything came full circle. Highly recommend 🔥

it took only one night
Iman threw caution to the wind after a tragedy occurred the day she was supposed to get married and her life flipped upside down. The Chemistry between Kai and Iman was undeniable. The way they then reconnected after that one night was destiny, if I may say so.

I don’t feel like waiting for the MFC to heal. I don’t feel like reading about a man that deserves better than what he’s chasing. Let him move on i dont care that she is the MC ONE man broke your heart. But that should not dictate the future for you. Uggghhhhhhh it started out real good though.

Great book
I like how K. Renee didn't have Kai chasing Iman to be with him like some of the other authors do in their book. He gave her what she wanted and let her come to her senses and come to him. I also like how Dez manned up and went back for his woman and how Dream wasn't a bitch about taking him back. Overall it was a good book and ended well with no spin off needed.
