If it was possible to give it negative stars , i would give it a -10.. it feels like a 12 year old girl has written this love story with no knowledge of the world or intelligence...the main characters are dumb beyond belief..They just cant seem to see what is infront of them(the person trying to keep them apart).. they is no explanation for the horribly written characters like their parents. At one point i really really wanted to bang my head on the wall.. Please save your precious time and avoid this book....
I GAVE UP after a few chapters. The sub character of the father was so unbelievable i just could not get it out of my head every time Jillian brought him up. the main characters seemed very child like. GREAT STORY LINE ZERO EXECUTION. The story was just very rediculous.
Manho, and you still want to marry him? Find him deep in plus balls, nigga plié that shit don’t change. Obviously his dick gets hard for dogs and cats. That is one sic story she should never marry the manho.
This book has a bit of everything a man with no morals that is lazy and spoiled, an extremely jealous and unscrupulous brother, a mother steeped in tradition and a father who loves his daughter but would never stand up to his wife.
If I could give this a -10 it would have a -10, rotten tomatoes, thumbs down and bright neon flashing lights as a warning (you're wasting your time). This story was beyond ridiculous from the heroine who had to be a pre-teen to the obsessed mother. Initially when I read the negative reviews, I thought that's not really a reason for a negative rating in my opinion. So, I went ahead and gave the book a try. However what they failed to tell me was that the heroine had the mind of an 11 year old and the author tried to write it as Asian culture. It wasn't authentic and I wasn't convinced.
It was beyond ridiculous to read a book like this and I hope to never come across a book like this again. Best of luck to the author but she is now on my do not ever read this author list.
Repetitive, lots of errors, and when the writer can't find the perfect words to say, she just tosses anything in to complete the sentence! I know it us not fair to compare writing styles, and this book had major potential, but in the first 58% she kept repeating the same old stuff! waste of time! move on you said it already! Then in the last of the book when it got good, the wording doubling up to mean what? I had to read and reread what the writer wanted to convey, I still gave her a four, feeling, because all in all, when you weather a storm and survive, it's great, well these two found love so I guess it's alright. Feeling generous.
I really want to give this book 3 stars but I'll give it 4 stars for the steamy sex scenes !! I really wanted to shake Jillian and tell her to " Man Up" and get control of her life. I didn't like how Reed was a man hire in the beginning of the book, even up to his engagement with Jillian!! Anderson got his in the end, so did the Daisy. This book will show you how far people will go & what their willing to do for the love of money!!
I really love the way the events of the book was written. There were times I want to throw my kindle because of what was happening but it made it believable. I like the fact that it was drama and and in the end everything work out. I read these books because I need a break in my life and right now things are not the way I want it to be and it gives me hope. Thank you so much for giving me an escape from my life. Keep writing
Ok! This book had a great plot and the wake up call for Reed, was a good start, but to have people so dang on clueless and Naïve! That was so frustrating and not just one or two times..but multiple times! I would have gave it 5 stars if the two main characters weren't so clueless and kinda dumb!
I thought this was a good book, but all it was all over the place. Between Jillian's mom, Reed's dad and brother, they were a hot mess. Reed is a player and a-hole at the beginning, but he changes over night. He is one of those adorable, but not to bright people in the book. I didn't care too much about Jillians character, but I liked she was forgiving after everytime she walked in on Reed.
It just wasn't all over the place, to much back and forth! It should've been longer to incorporate all of the angles. I wanted to learn more about the characters, more back story but I just didn't get that. It felt really rushed!
It was rather repetative and I think both the hero and heroine were a bit stupid not to know the brother wanted to break them up. Not the best st0ry I have read but it was OK
