Wild Moon #3

Bloodbound

Rate this book
Ronan was supposed to stay dead.

Instead, he wakes in a field full of bodies with blood on his hands, missing memories, and something vicious moving beneath his skin. Drawn back to Hollow Pines, he finds himself face-to-face with Gideon Ward — mechanic, witch, and the one man he has never been able to stay away from.

Gideon knows Ronan is hiding something. He just does not realize how deep the damage goes until buried memories begin to break open, exposing a past someone went to great lengths to erase. A past where Ronan and Gideon were never meant to become strangers.

Now Ronan is caught in a curse he does not understand, hunted by forces determined to use him as a weapon, and tied to Gideon in ways neither of them can ignore any longer.

As old secrets rise and Hollow Pines is dragged toward bloodshed, Ronan and Gideon will have to decide whether love can survive what was done to them… or whether some things, once broken, are meant to stay buried.

Bloodbound is the explosive final installment in the Wild Moon series — a dark MM paranormal romance filled with memory loss, fated connection, found family, hurt/comfort, danger, desire, and a bond that refuses to die.

This final instalment delivers exactly what you’d hope for such a powerful and fitting conclusion to the series full of high emotion, intense action, and a relationship that’s been pushed to its limits. From the start, Ronan’s return sets a darker, more urgent tone, and the mystery around his missing memories and what’s been done to him adds a constant sense of unease.

The connection between Ronan and Gideon is at the centre of everything, and it’s anything but easy. Their history, slowly coming back into focus, brings both tenderness and heartbreak, and the way they’re forced to confront what’s been lost—and what might still be there—gives the story real weight. Their journey feels messy and painful at times, but that’s what makes it so compelling.

There’s plenty of action woven throughout, with rising stakes that keep the pace moving and the tension high. At the same time, the emotional moments hit hard, especially as past truths come to light and everything begins to collide.

What an Intense, emotional, and at times devastating, but ultimately rewarding read and i highly recommend you follow the journey from the beginning of the series.

I would like to preface this review with I have not read the first two books.
This book is not something that could be a standalone. You need to know what is going on to know people and places and characters.

The spice is long-winded but nicely written. A few lines even warmed my core.

The truck scene is dope. The action is well spaced, has a decent flow but we get it they disappear in shadow.
There were a few instances where that happened. At one point two long paragraphs was repeated word for word with two sentences separating them.

After the surge, the death broke me. Didn't know the character but everyone else's responses tore my heart to teeny tiny pieces.

If you love M/M, shifters, witches, mystery missing memories, tethered by fate, and my dad's a monster you'll like this. If you like small town, evil within, second chances, and found family, you will probably like this.

It was not my cup of tea and I might sit on this series and come back to it.

Bloodhound is The final book in the wild Moon Series and what an amazing series it has been the conclusion to the story was everything it could have been. I loved every second.

You must read the previous two books to have any understanding of what is going on as echoes one starts off right after the previous book.

Ronan and Gideon went through so much to get their happy ending and no couple deserved it more. I felt myself tearing every time Gideon did and felt every ounce of pain Ronan went through not remembering so much of his life.

Every character plays such an important role and I will miss them all.

I Had a lump in my throat for the last half an hour trying to stop the tears from rolling down my face. I failed this was a beautiful story in every way.

This is a must read series and one of my favourites.

Thank you so much for the honour of arc reading.

I went into Wild Moon expecting a solid paranormal romance. I came out emotionally wrecked in the best way.

Ronan is a dire wolf on the run from a dark compulsion he can't control. Gideon is a witch whose magic is literally tearing his soul apart. When their paths collide again, the connection between them isn't just chemistry. It's fate. And it hurts.

What I loved most is that this isn't a story about perfect people falling in easy love. It's about two survivors who keep choosing each other even when it costs them. The pack dynamics feel lived-in and real. The action hits hard. And the quiet moments—a shared coffee, a hand on a shoulder, a confession under the stars—will stay with you long after you finish.

Wild Moon Book 3 came to bring the series to an end in a huge way. If you are not caught up turn back now. This story was everything I never knew I craved in an ending. Still, it is lust, battle, finding oneself, a battle of figuring out who you are and your role, then a battle of finding that two is better than none. Ken managed to weave a web of life in the past and the present with a love story, putting a bow on an ongoing disturbance. Two outcasts who find acceptance and love in the most unlikely of circumstances. Ken gave us the perfect conclusion and reminded us of how important the pack is to the well-being of its members.

With the release of Wild Moon Book 3, the series reached its climax. Go back now if you haven't caught up. The story's conclusion satisfied every need I had for a finish. The struggle to discover one's identity and place in the world culminates in the realization that any number is preferable to the absence of lust and conflict. To put a bow on an ongoing problem, Ken skillfully wove a love story into the fabric of past and present existence. Two social misfits who, against all odds, discover love and acceptance. Ken provided the ideal coda, stressing once again how crucial the pack is to its members' survival.

The characters were very complex and compelling and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and impressive. All in all a satisfying conclusion to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

What an epic ending to a spectacular series!!! ❤️

I would start by telling you, that only reading this book? Not worth it, you need, I repeat, NEED to read the whole series, to understand the pack, relationship and fight dynamics of the story. Otherwise I think the reader will be confused with the book.

Having said that, I had a bit of a hard time finding my way into the book, but as soon as I was in it I devoured the whole thing. I loved it.

Amazing story of Ronan, a werewolf and Gideon, a witch. These two have a past but will they have a future? Loved these characters and the side characters, human and wolf. Revenge and hate is strong but this story shows how much more powerful love can be. Loved it!

This is the most painful book to read in the series. Be aware it’s dark and the name of the game is pain but it’s so worth the read. I love this story and couldn’t put it down.

Read the first 2 books first!

Once again, I saw wow. I can't believe this is the finaly book, I love these stories to much. This one was just as intense, the action top tier, the spice is so good. Ugh Ronan, he's definitely my favorite, the fight Gideon and him go through is a lot. I cried multiple times, got some major goosebumps and again just in awe.
