Review of advance copy
DC KO is very concerned with what's going on on the cosmic stage, but the Titans tie-in volume is much more grounded (or as grounded as a story about the Titans evacuating the entire planet can be). It's very much about what's going on back on the ground, as the Titans try to corral every human on earth, including some of the villains, and make sure they're all safe.
Unfortunately, taking some of the villains causes problems, such as putting Terra in Gemworld, but that's all the fun, isn't it?
Layman's team dynamic has been pretty solid since Tom Taylor handed the reins over, and he leaves the team in a good spot for the New Titans team that takes over after this volume. It feels like he manages to get to the end of the arcs and stories he wanted to tell even while DC KO runs roughshod over the place, so this serves as a good event tie-in and a good final volume for his run.

Review of advance copy
I think the stand out star of this book is defiantly The Annual, Donna's story is handled so well and the supporting cast is both in character and ties her story together very well. I especially loved how much Phil Jimenez seems to value female relationships and both Donna's platonic and non platonic relationships with men throughout her life. I wish the rest of this run reflexed this level on maturity of our now ADULT Titans but sadly I find this run to not reflex their ages life stages very well leading to the issue of them never evolving within the Titansphere

Phil Jimenez’ annual that closes out the book brings it up at least one full star. Just lovely stuff.
