Not worth your money.
If you like a book that is nonstop violence then this is a book for you. If you're looking for a book that has likable heroes or heroines this is not the book for you.

Great read
Follows book 1, book 2 continues the story tying story together all the subplots. Will this continue? I hope so, it is a good story.

This second book in the series is better than the first. I very much enjoy the characters. They are complex and are driven by multiple traits. However, the book still has difficult time with consistency. In the next to last chapter Edmond gets up and walks, but in the final chapter, he’s still in a wheelchair. This type of thing happens throughout the book with some facts or happenings where something shows up or happens in one chapter and then its totally contrary in others. It’s disconcerting, and distracts the reader from the story. However, I’m still enjoying the telenovela drama. So I guess I will be buying Book 3.
