"Elaine Levine is a wonderfully fresh and original voice in western romance.
RACHEL AND THE HIRED GUN is full of fast-paced action and powerful emotions. I loved it!"
-- Joan Johnston, New York Times bestselling author of A STRANGER'S GAME

"A pair of appealing, well-matched protagonists (with a bit of a history), a slimy villain, well-drawn secondary characters, and plenty of action make this rough-and-ready Western one that fans are sure to enjoy."
--Library Journal on AUDREY AND THE MAVERICK

"A beautiful romance…keeps the reader hooked from the first page to the last.” -New York Times Bestselling Author Catherine Anderson about LEAH AND THE BOUNTY HUNTER

Though this is the third book of a romance trilogy, the story stands quite well on its own. Elaine Levine gives us a multi-level story about trust and being able to overcome personal fears to achieve a goal. Set in the post-Civil War era, Leah and the Bounty Hunter gives us a window into the rough-and-tumble lives of our settler-forefathers and what they did to succeed against lawlessness and the incredible challenges to settle the old West. An enjoyable read, recommended. --Monica E. Spence, Historical Novels Review on LEAH AND THE BOUNTY HUNTER

ABOUT ELAINE:

Elaine Levine is an agoraphobic who lives in her son’s basement and runs doggie daycare for his pack of hounds. Her mind, however, is irrepressible, and she fills the endless moments of endless days crafting romance fiction from dystopian headlines she reads online. Be warned—her stories are addictive and dangerously appealing to those with similarly twisted minds and hopeful hearts.

In Shattered Valor, Blade and Eddie found in each other their own oasis regardless of the horrors and unfairness of their past. Blade's love for Eddie reminds me of how I think a Fairy Prince should love like, so pure, fearless, valiant and all consuming fire. Their wedding was a reflection of their fairytale romance, while sharing it with their friends and families. The mystery continues as the team keeps discovering new information that will lead them to the terrorist head leader.

was disappointed in this book, liked the wedding part but the love triangle, yeah never been into that. Owen and Val need to kick Selena to the curb. Not sure about this series, don't want it to turn into a soap opera.

I can't begin to say how much I love this series. I've been hooked from the first book and each book since has only proven to me that great writing can make you feel emotions for characters that aren't real other than on the page and in your mind. Because of the depth and strength of these characters, to me, they're as real as you or I. Ty and Eden had their story in the second book of this series, and Ty's awful beginnings broke my heart. I'm not ashamed to say I cried like a baby during the reading of that book, so it's great to see in this novella what has become of him and how being in love with, and being loved by Eden has helped to heal those wounds and enabled him to move forward. Although the memories remain, the darkness didn't seem to surround him this time, and the joy and emotion between him and Eden was truly lovely. The moments when they're together are sinfully sexy and delicious and completely heart warming. I would want nothing less for this couple. We also get a little bit more information and clues to the ongoing storyline that surrounds the characters, and a hint of what is to come between Val, Owen and Selena. This authors novellas are always a little longer than most and full of detail so you more than get your money's worth. You will need to read this series from the beginning to get the full benefit of this novella, but with a story this wonderfully written, and with characters that will steal your heart you can't go wrong.

Often, when a romance series contains a wedding novella, that's all it is, just a little treat for the fans to follow up on an earlier couple. And that's all well and good. But the wedding novellas Elaine Levine is including in her Red Team series do more than just showcase the wedding. They advance give important glimpses into other characters and advance the storyline in small but significant ways. None of the books in this series are standalone; they must be read in order, though the cliffhangers are not with the couple in each book but with the overall conspiracy storyline. But oh, what a story and what a world Levine has created. If you like your romance flavored with ex-military and suspense, then this is big time for you.

Ty and Eden finally get their HEA after a difficult beginning in 'Shattered Valor' but not before dealing with some struggles along the way. You see a side of Ty that could quite simply be the most romantic thing I've read in a long time and a vulnerable side of Eden in which she has to come to terms with.
While the point of a wedding novella in the middle of a series is about just that, Elaine takes it a bit further. There are new characters, twists and turns at every corner and you learn more about our favorite team members... a whole lot more! Do not skip the novella's if you are in love with the series as I am!
This is not a stand alone, start this series with The Edge of Courage (Red Team #1) and you'll be hooked!
Looking forward to Greer's story....

I love this series, and although this is shorter as a novella, it doesn't disappoint. This is for anyone who loves romance with believable characters, tough alpha leads, strong women who take them into their lives in love. Ms Levine has woven this series, it's characters, the situations together with skill, humour and doesn't shy away from the difficult, giving the reader a glimpse into the Red Team world/family. Highly recommended

Ty and Eden are my favorite! This novella could have been as long as all of Encyclopaedia Britannica and I would have enough of their story.

Romantic and happy little book

Obviously this is about Ty and Eden as they marry, but it also contains the story of Ty's Dad, Cord and that made it such a sad but happy tale.
We get to catch up with previous characters Sherri and Trudy who we met in an earlier book in the series.
The stage is set for future books as the backstory continues and pulls each book together.
Selena continues to build interest from within the team, who captures her own interest?
The dance performed by the girls was good reading, I found the book held more than a few funny one liners and more than one or two sad moments.
Personally, I would have given both sets of her parents a swift kick goodbye after the most intense come to Jesus talk they ever heard, but that would be me imposing my personality upon Eden so I bit my lip instead.
There is appropriate swearing, these guys are military after all and it's not excessive.
The sex scenes are well written and proportionate as well as loving.
Excellent addition to the series.
You really need to read the books in order of publication to get the best from the storyline.

Another wedding and another parental scene...

However, smart man that Ty is, he nips it in the butt pronto.
I don’t care much for Eden and disliked both set of her parents even less.

Meanwhile, leave it to a woman to come between friends...I’m not liking the Val-Selena-Owen triangle and guessing that the only female member of the Red Team will send herself packing to avoid a “situation”. Which sucks because Selena is a mysterious and interesting character with a unique skill set and Levin could do a lot with her in this testosterone laden series in contrast to the usual guilelessness with the female leads thus far.

On a positive note, Max is back with the team and away from that awful WKB gang. As per usual, he’s found a woman and brought her back to the ranch no worse for the wear. It’s getting crowded at Ty’s house and as much as theses guys like to fool around, I hope the walls are soundproofed!!

Ho-hum...Nothing too exciting and mind bending. Good to have a bit of downtime for the team. They need it.

Love for the Red Team

Many of the men of Tramaine Security(all formerly Red Team) have coupled up with the women of their dreams. This moving novella brings them all together to celebrate the wedding of Ty and Eden. Ty has mostly overcome the gruesome, abusive childhood he had at the hands of his tortuous step father, thanks to his relationship with Eden, the team's dog handler. Ty and Eden's wedding is the backdrops of several interesting and scintillating side stories. Possible love triangles, interfering families and family reunions are some situations that add depth and mystery to the glorious wedding. Beautifully orchestrated, this is a story of love.

A terrific story

Ty and Eden have been through so much in their short time together, and have certainly come out stronger as a couple for it. After all of the unimaginable horrors that was Ty's childhood, as well as the complicated emotional mess that was Eden's, these two deserve all of the happiness, bliss, and love that they create together.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

In this novella we are introduced to Ty's bio dad, Cord which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed getting look at Ty's romantic side and Eden's more vulnerable one. They are so good together.
We finally got to meet Eden's parents, although it did take almost the whole novella for me to warm up to them. It was also great to see Sherri and Trudy again and see how they are recovering from their ordeal. Hopefully they will make appearance in future books.
The one thing that ruined the book for me was Selena. After reading this novella, I can honestly say that I hope that she doesn't get together with neither Owen nor Val. They both deserve so much better. I just hope that she won't ruin relationship between these two.
Overall this is sweet novella, though I do hope that Selena will make herself scarce in the future books.

I was waiting for this book and to see how this was going to be done. I loved it. It was believable and down to earth. E knew the heroine and hero because of the prior books.

It was a short but sweet book. It helped you see more of the tangled web plot of the series.

Elaine Levine - Ty and Eden Wedding (Red Team Series - Book 4.5)

I was happy to find an announcement that there was a Wedding Novella for the Red Team Series. Ms. Levine's books are on my "must order/preorder" list.
When we begin, we find Ty Bladen at the State Prison in Colorado picking up his Bio-dad, Cordell Ryker Cordell did not know that Ty was his bio-son until Ty tells him at the prison gate. His father had been wrongfully convicted due to Ty's evil Step-Father Phillip Bladen. Ty hired attorneys and could get the convictions over turned and Cordell was a free man now.

Prior to this Novella in book 2, Ty found out that Phillip Bladen was not his bio-father and had made Ty's life a living hell because Phillip knew it, but Ty didn’t know. Ty also found out that Phillip had killed his mother, the women that Cordell Ryker loved and was trying to take care of her in the terrible situation she was in with her husband Phillip Bladen. We watch how Ty and his father find their way into each other’s lives.

Even though this is a Novella, Ms. Levine does not forget to give her readers an insight to all the characters that have grown fond of. There are additional "clues" to the mystery of the White Kingdom Brotherhood, prison motorcycle white supremacy gang. The Red Team has been chartered to take down the Gang so any information may help them to accomplish this goal.

The Wedding, of course, turns out beautifully, even though Eden's parents, at first, is less than thrilled that she is marrying Ty after only knowing him for such a short time. Of course, her parents have never saw her for who she really is, so this did not surprise Eden. In the end, they are married and ready to go on their honeymoon. As always, Ms. Levine's characters have so much depth and character that you are turning each page to find out what happens next. As a romance reader, you will be glad to know that there is some HOT Sizzling Passion that will cause you to swoon.

I enjoyed this book and of course it is only 120+ pages so you can read it in a couple of hours and enjoy catching up with the characters from the series which by now feels likes old friends. I appreciate the fact that Ms. Levine reminds her readers of where the last book in the series left off. I find that very thoughtful and refreshing from an author. Thank you, Ms. Levine.

This little quick one made me want the next full length book.

I loved Ty and Eden together, loved how their wedding came about. Eden's parents were pieces of work and I kept waiting for Ty to kick them out. I was amazed that Eden was as normal as she is. Ty's dad will be an interesting mix, especially once they get to know each other better.

There was some small things that make me worry about some other teams. Things still seem off with Rocco and Mandy, I hated seeing that. I worry about things between Val and Owen, feel like the looser in that situation will be Selena. I hope we get more with all of them.
