This book isn't something that we expect from this author but it had me hooked, line, and sinker!

Blooming heck, where to start?

Nathan is a part of a network, a gun for hire, no morals, no guilt, each kill precisely as it should be.

Until one day that changed everything.
A job that should have been easy until it wasn't, the mark that he was going to kill suddenly had a complications and a border that he wasn't willing to cross.

His kill partner Marcus for six years had a different approach and still wanted to take to target out.
They fought each other and and thinking that Marcus had taken Nathan out, Marcus declared that Nathan was dead.

Over a year later Nathan is now Ethan, a bartender with skills, he is trying to blend in and forget his former life.

But life has a way of turning it back to the start.

Naomi is a former journalist turned YouTuber and wants to uncover the truth regarding big corporate companies.
She first came across Ashford when one of her fellow journalists died, and with a heck of alot of digging she discovered that he wasn't the only one to 'accidentally ' die.

Once her evidence goes viral and something happens beyond her control, she heads to Atlanta thinking that she might be safe.
Little did she know that walking into the bar that Ethan works in would change both of their lives for ever.

A fantastic pulse pounding, high octane thriller that is extremely addictive from the first page until the last full stop.

Great story! Usually I don’t care for bad guys as heroes, but this one twists the other direction right at the beginning. As a contract assassin, Nathan Crowe fails to shoot a small child and his whole life is changed in an instant. Excellent story of redemption. Plenty of twists and turns to make the story hard to put down. Even though this is a single, I would definitely follow this character if another book was released. This author’s writing is fantastic.

If an assassin steps out of the game for several years, can he pick it back up in a heartbeat and do what needs to be done to save the life of somebody he feels needs to be saved? Can he redeem himself from being the one pulling the trigger to being the one in the line of fire? For Nathan Crowe this is something that he must find out. Will he survive? Or will the organization take him out?
