This textbook was so littered with spelling and grammatical errors I was embarrassed for the authors. It’s the seventh edition, there is literally no excuse. Reading something so carelessly put together really devalued the entire textbook for me.
Once again, Nelson publishing knows how to design a textbook. The layout is clean, case studies are relevant and helpful, information presented in logical order.
It's not the sort of thing I'd read for fun, but it is well-done.
In my opinion it did not cover workplace harassment in enough detail. Another gap was in the Emergency Planning chapter. They really should have had more information on "Getting back to Normal" as this is a key issue in Emergency Management.
Typical textbook read. Anectodes are interesting and layout better than most. Recommend for Human Resources specialists and all employees interested in health and safety at work.
