Benjamin Slater has never felt like he fit in anywhere. Not growing up, not as an adult at work, and not even amongst the kink community where he generally feels most like himself. Maybe it’s because he's drawn to both Little and Middle headspaces...Or maybe it’s because he's a brat. A brat with a thing for watersports.
No one has ever really wanted to be close to him.
When Benji attends a camp specifically organized for age play enthusiasts, he meets camp counselor Kris, a sweet but firm Daddy who seems to know exactly how to handle Benji. It makes Benji want things he's never allowed himself to want before.
Kristian McNamara is equally drawn to Benji, despite having zero intentions to connect with anyone beyond a scene or two. The timing isn't great, since he's in the middle of some big life changes right now, but everything about the adorably feisty blond twink calls to him like a siren's song. It's almost like the universe created Benji just to tempt him.
And man, is he tempted. The things he wants to teach that Boy...
Unfortunately, poor timing and other factors cut their time short…until a chance meeting sees them reunited.
But is this obvious kismet enough to convince them to set aside their fears and trust that, sometimes, when something feels right, it actually is?
NB - Kristian's Kismet is a sweet MM age play romance with elements of ABDL, but does contain hurt/comfort themes, deliberate wetting, watersports, holding/desperation play, bratting, and some mild miscommunication driven by low self-esteem/low self-confidence.
Benji has never felt like he truly belongs, even in the spaces meant for people like him. At a specialised camp, he meets Kris, a calm, steady caregiver who understands him in a way no one else has. Their connection is immediate but cut short by life getting in the way. When fate brings them back together, both must decide whether to trust the pull between them and believe that something that feels right might actually be meant to last.
Benji’s story really struck me with that deep sense of not belonging anywhere, even in the spaces meant to feel safe, which made his connection with Kris feel all the more powerful. The bond between them is immediate and unmistakable, the kind of spark that feels like recognition rather than discovery. I loved that fate didn’t just nudge them together once but twice, giving them another chance when the first slipped away. Both men needed to be in the right emotional place, and the book does a lovely job showing how they slowly settle into trust, friendship, and eventually something much deeper. The feelings throughout are clear, heartfelt, and easy to understand, making their journey from loneliness to connection genuinely satisfying. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
Kristian's Kismet, book 4 in the Kinks & Conundrums series, follows Daddy Kris and Little/Middle Benji as they first meet at an age play/regression camp and later again at The Grove. Both start out completely opposed to a relationship - Kris in the middle of a job transition, and Benji due to heartbreaking issues with self esteem and inadequacy (despite his bratty and bold persona). I absolutely loved seeing the growing connection between these two, as Kris creates a safe place for Benji and they finally embrace their connection. Despite the instant attraction, this is a bit of a slow burn romantic story, but was so incredibly sweet and heartfelt. Absolutely loved the whole ride - Kristian's Kismet was probably my favourites in the series so far.
Anna Sparrows was the first daddy/little author I read ages ago, and though I've since read many others, she remains unmatched in the quality and depth of stories she provides. Absolutely can't wait to see what comes next!
I really enjoyed this book, I found it to be a quick read, very entertaining, both spicy and sweet, and it has two MC's who connected so thoroughly you could feel it. Benji and Kris are very likeable and fully developed MC's who find themselves instantly attracted to one another and the beginnings of a connection being forged between them - initially through their mutual kink interests before they restart as friends. Benji is definitely a sassy brat who loves 'watersports', but I wasn't expecting the other emotional aspects to him, or to feel such heartbreak for him once more of his true self was revealed. Kristian is a caregiver Daddy and for whatever reason, he is able to see beyond Benji's surface level actions to the hurt Boy beneath, and is able to instinctively know what Benji needs. Their timing isn't good, but fate or whatever intervenes to reunite them both at a very dramatic and emotional time. Next is a lot of healing and good communication, followed by a heartfelt love and a fun and satisfying HEA.
I received an ARC, this review is my honest, unbiased opinion.
You know Anna is one of my favourite authors and I just know I’m always going to love her books! This is book 4 in the Kinks and Conundrums series and is another amazing daddy / little-middle book. We meet Benji who is a middle, but sometimes a little, he really doesn’t know why. He also likes being a brat and has a kink for watersports! Being finding a daddy who wants more than just one night is impossible. In fact, he’s never met anyone who wasn’t fed up of him sooner rather than later. Cue Kristian- brat-tamer and a watersports loving Daddy. He immediately realises that his kinks align with Benjis, but it isn’t smooth sailing for them. This book was so good- at one point I was crying for poor Benji- he just wanted someone to stay! But it is also funny, has found family and the spice is spicing! I loved seeing all my favourite characters pop up this book; all my favourite daddies & Littles! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kristian's Kismet was such a sweet, emotional read. Benji's struggle to find a place where he truly belongs made him incredibly easy to connect with, and seeing Kris offer him the acceptance and care he'd always been missing was heartwarming.
I loved that their relationship was built on trust and understanding as much as attraction. Their reunion felt natural, and watching them slowly build something real together was my favourite part of the story.
The age play dynamic is handled with care, emphasising communication and mutual respect while supporting the emotional journey, which is what i always expect from Anna. Overall, this was a warm, heartfelt romance about finding the person who loves you exactly as you are. Highly recommend I received a free arc and this is my honest review
I’ve been loving this series since the first book and I’m so happy there’s a new one out. Kris and Benji are great together, but I especially loved how mature they were about their relationship. Benji made the moves to be sure he was in the right headspace and had worked through some of his self-esteem issues before embarking on their relationship, which was so refreshing to see in a romance (usually you get a boring third act breakup instead). Kris is also great, and was so supportive of Benji. I’m not the biggest fan of brats, so I was a little apprehensive at the beginning that I may not like this one, but there’s so much more to it than just the roles they play within their relationship.
Thank you Anna Sparrows for the ARC. This review is honest and voluntary.
Review: I love all of Anna’s books; Forever a go-to author of mine. This book was a joy to read. It was a bit heavier; Benji had some things to work through, but they are so good together, and Kristian was so supportive. Although bratting isn’t my favorite kink, this book was so entertaining, and I am obsessed with watersports (to an extent), which this book portrayed so well in my opinion. I was like freaking out just like the characters were during those scenes. I also, of course, loved the flashbacks to characters from her other books. Can’t wait to see what’s next. This book may not be for everyone, but I loved it!

4.5 Stars Benji and Kris were perfect together. Neither Kris nor Benji were looking to date but neither could stay away from the other. Benji has also been a brat and is used to people leaving. Kris is starting over with his promotion. These two spent a couple of months apart but one night, they are thrown back together. Both Kris and Benji work on themselves for a but before jumping into a relationship. These two get a wonderful HEA and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Meeting the right person that just clicks is rare, but happens... and it can take time to recognize what you're seeing... especially if you're always feeling like you really don't fit in... and you might not trust it either... and even if you run away from it, meeting again might be kismet..\
This was a well developed story with a bit of angst, a dash of trepidation and lots of kink including watersports, ABDL, bratting, little/middle and more! IF you like complex Daddy/little relationships with a lovely HEA, you'll want to add this book to your tbr.
This was an adorable Daddy/Middle story that really touched me. It was very sweet, but the self-esteem issues that Benji had were tough. It actually made me cry a couple of times. I loved Kris, how he really saw Benji, and even respected boundaries when he knew it wasn’t what Benji needed. I also really loved the time they took to get together, which you don’t see often in these books. I understand why, of course, with the nature of the relationships. It was just a refreshing change. Low angst, moderate heat, HEA.
This is my honest review of an advanced reader copy.
This book was so so much fun. It was sweet and very naughty and I really had a blast reading it. I adored Benji, he was so cute and bratty. He was also a very interesting character and he surprised me a couple of times with his reactions. He wasn't perfect but he really grew and I loved reading his journey. I admired Kristian's patience. He was very clever and insightful, he really saw Benji. And the man had some super fun ideas when they were exploring their dynamic. A fun and steamy story. The perfect escape.
Anna is one of the authors whose books I read when I want to be sure I'll have a good time reading, and when it needs to be a story that isn't too profound. You know, the kind of book to read in between other things to make you feel good.
This is certainly one of those books. A cute and sweet book. You just have to grow to love those two, whether you want to or not.
💞Thank you to the Author for the opportunity to read and review this ARC💖
This is such a soft and sweet book. I absolutely loved these two. Benji is probably the brattiest boy I have ever read and I loved him. Kris handled him perfectly. I felt so bad for Benji with his experience with Becky because she was honestly the worst and deserved some punishment. But all in all this was such a sweet story.
I loved this sweet but steamy story about Daddy Kristian and the bratty Benji. I especially loved the way Anna Sparrows included the kink making it a way the couple bonded without being gratuitous. I appreciated the growing that both men went through in this story too.
Kristian's Kismet is the fourth book in the Kinks & Conundrums series and can be read as a standalone. This is a hurt/comfort, age gap, daddy/boy, found family read about Kris and Benji. I really enjoyed this story and all the wonderful characters, another wonderful story from Anna.
This was a unique age play book, but very good. I really liked this kink and would love to read more similar books. As always Anna makes the characters so cute and I just loved this soft daddy!

I enjoyed Kris and Benji’s book. It’s an insta-attraction Daddy Boy romance that becomes a bit of a slow burn when they reappear in each other’s lives unexpectedly.
With an instant connection at an age play camp, bratty Benji and Daddy Kris have a spark that is not to be ignored. But real life is weighing heavily on both of them and they cannot take their connection beyond the camp. When fate brings them back together they use the opportunity to slowly build a bond that can withstand the pressures of life and meets the needs which they both have.
A refreshing Daddy/boy story with ABDL, water sports, a brat who needs a firm hand and a lovely ending. An absolute pleasure to read.
Kristian's Kismet is the 4th book in the Kinks & Conundrums series. This book can be read as a standalone but why not enjoy the whole series. This book contains age play with elements of ABDL, if that isn't something you enjoy then this book might not be for you. This is the story of Benjamin(Benji) a little-middle and Kristian(Kris) a daddy. I loved this wonderful story. Benji is such a brat, but Kris is the perfect partner for him. I loved watching these two build a relationship. This was just a perfect pallet cleanser type story. I hope we get more stories in this series. I would definitely recommend this book and series. received a free review copy
Benji & Kristian are just the sweetest! The way their kinks line up leads to an inevitable HEA that is well deserved!
I quite enjoyed that Benji knew he had to work on himself emotionally to give all he could to Kristian. I think it was VERY important for Kristian to make like minded friends in their community as well.
Sometimes being patient in life leads to the best outcomes and this was the perfect example of that. I enjoyed the spice and kinks in this book so much!!!! 💦
