Wow this book was HOT so HOT
I enjoyed this book more than the first the story is getting better as it go on I luvd how the last book ended its something I ve alway wanted 2 do was throw a drink in a man face when he's pissed me off but Evie did 1 better with the cake u go girl ;)
Zack had been a totally ass I did want 2 punch him maybe not in his face he is 2 gorgeous 4 that haha but Evie was goin 2 b strong an stay away from after what happen Evie hate attention on her so she was goin 2 keep her head down 4 a while then when her first journalist job was 2 do a piece on the football team so wasn't happy an then 2 make it worst she had 2 interview Zack nooooooo
1 thing about this book was it was hot like really really hot they know have 2 get there sexy back I m lookin 4ward 2 more of this hotness ;) i do hope the story keeps getting stronger but I still have a feelin what goin 2 happen like I said in the first review but it didnt happen yet so I mite b wrong I am wrong will sometimes but not often ;) xxx

What happened at the end of book 1 left Evie humiliated and when she gets her first assignment to cover the game and of course interview the Qb Zack. There is obviously tension between the two and I exchange for the interview Zack wants a date. Will it be a joke on Evie again? Must read to see what happens with Zack and Evie

Book one was an okay 2 star, even if the end was about as over dramatic as possible and the story itself was the trite, typical reconnect between hs sweethearts. It was paced fast enough that I gave book two a shot.
Sadly, the series went from just okay to downright laughable.
He is an ass. She's a twit. Voices sound like they are in high school drama class. Plot is still dense & pace seemed to drag more.
Actions are implausible; I mean wtf, outside maybe a 15-yr-old pre-pub, who would scream about this chick being a one nighter turned stalker in front of everyone TWICE & then turn around ten minutes later and ask her on a date and profess his love the next day atop a damn lunch table. Wth? Sorry, that's not romantic, sexy, or even interesting! This is like a very poorly done Molly Ringwald throwback.

Evie and Zach have history, are in a battle of wills and still have desire for each other. Evie observes Zach's library patterns, must interview him, write an article and then steer clear of him. Will she find piece? Is Zach using her? Loved it from beginning to end. No real cliffhanger and for that I'm so happy. Great job Claire Adams.

The characters are amazingly hot. If you remember your first boyfriend then you need to read this book. It's going to bring back good memories if you remember him her. Some really hot sex scenes that'll knock your socks off! I got really into the book and characters.

eh. ok. not as good as the first
It was ok. Cute in some parts. But kinda predictable overall. I actually like Zack. Evie is a bit of a nut....but I just didn't feel the connection between the two of them.

same as the first book.. girl always starring at the guy, him never finding or looking at her first. but then he surprises everyone by saying he loves her in front of the school but days and weeks before he was a complete ass. waiting for book 3 to finish the series.

After being humiliated by Zack, Evie decides the best thing to do is avoid him. What starts out as a good idea behind hard to do when her job forces them together. Things happen and feelings come out. Short story about old friends.

Yah!!! I love the push and pull of the two main characters. I love how they don't throw away the history they have and fight for what they want.
