You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Gianna has always known her life was controlled by her brother the male of the family like any crime family he along with her aunt protected, so she never had many freedoms or choices so when she finds out her brother has arranged her hand in marriage and she does what she always do just follow the rules. She finds herself trying on wedding dresses that she didn’t pick out, her aunt picked them out, but she is kidnapped by her brother’s enemy. Will sexy as all get out hitman who isn’t a man you want on your radar, you don’t want to make an enemy out of him, he is dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly every day, and Enzo has made an enemy therefore, taking his sister just to anger him or so that is how it started. The moment Nico takes her he decides she belongs to him and marrying her will make her brother mad, but he learns so much about her that the need to keep her safe, protected overrides everything in him ensuring she isn’t going to show up for a marriage to a man she isn’t happy to marry but where are they headed considering her brother already made the deal, will her brother come for her starting a war, will she agree to go back to her brother, and is there a form of happiness for these two considering how they met?

Hitman: A Dark Mafia Romance (Kings of the Mafia Book Four) had me hooked from the very first page. Gianna, trapped by family duty and control most of her life, suddenly finds everything turned upside down when she’s kidnapped — not by some random thug, but by Will, a hitman doing the job he’s been paid for… until he realizes he can’t just hand her over. Their dynamic — equal parts danger, longing, and sizzling chemistry — kept me turning pages late into the night.
What really stood out was Gianna’s growth: from obedient pawn to a woman who finally finds her voice, even amidst bullets and threat, and Will’s fierce, complicated loyalty. The danger and heat blend perfectly, making the escape and their developing connection feel both thrilling and satisfying.
Ivy Davis delivers another fast-paced, steamy mafia romance that’s easy to devour in one sitting. If you love gritty protect-me, want-me tension with a happily-ever-after that feels earned, this is a 5-star must-read.

Gianna has always known family comes first, and now she's agreeing to marry a man just to help her brother. Gianna never does anything she wants. It's always her aunt or brother telling her what to do. Twenty one years old and still not living her own life. Now she's trying on wedding dresses her aunt has picked. Until a masked gunman comes and kidnaps her and bundles her into a car. Will doesn't kidnap people. He's a hitman not a kidnapper. But he's been paid to do this job. Except now he's seen her and can he really do this job. Gianna isn't what he was expecting, she's shy, innocent and absolutely beautiful. Can Gianna finally find her voice and speak for herself. Is Will really going to hand her over. Is Enzo going to save his sister and marry her to help build his army. This is another brilliant addition to this series. I read this in one sitting its so easy and spicy that I couldn't put it down

Gianna has always been protected by her brother and her aunt. She doesn't get to do anything she wants to do. When she finds out her brother has agreed to an arranged marriage, she does what she always does and accepts. Then she is trying on wedding dresses that her aunt has picked out when she gets kidnapped by her brother's enemy. He has decided he will marry her just to make her brother made. Will is working for the enemy but is an independent hitman. When he is told to keep Gianna safe until they can make the wedding happen, he learns more about her and what she has been through. Everyone is trying to get their hands on Gianna, and he just wants to keep her safe. A romance blooms, but will her brother allow her to be with a hitman. There are some good twists in the story that keeps you reading to the end.

I enjoy all the series that Ivy Davis releases, but the "plot" has been very predictable, but this story was a huge breath of fresh air. Will Taylor is a Hitman but is hired for a new type of job where all he has to do is kidnap a woman for powerful Mafia Man. Gianna is a shy girl that has been under the strict protection of her aunt for years since her parents were killed. When she is kidnapped by Will, she is initially afraid but then learns that he has a strict moral code where he will never harm an innocent. They slowly begin to develop feelings for each other although the reality that a privileged mafia princess and a hitman could possibly have a future together looms over their heads. This is a very sweet love story that shows when two people are destined to be together, the universe steps in to help out.

Gianna always knew she would have to marry and it would probably be arranged but does not tell her brother she is not happy to marry Nico. Will is a hitman that is hired to do a job, kidnap a woman that the man wants to marry. He has no idea she, Gianna, is the protected little sister of Enzo Bianchi. When he shows up the church with her, things to not go as planned and his pressed to take her to safe house.

The more time Will spends with Gianna, the more his views change on what he is doing and his career path. Gianna will need to find the voice inside her that her aunt tamped down on for years. This is a fast paced, slow burn romance with plenty of mafia drama.

Another great story from Ivy Davis. This is the fourth book in the series. Gianna is Enzos’ little sister and was sent away to protect her. However, her brothers’ enemies hired a hitman to kidnap her. Will, the hitman, decides to keep her for himself. Her brothers are not going to let that happen if they can help it. This story has suspense, chemistry, danger, and all the things. It’s a fast-paced mafia romance that is well written. The characters are well developed and full of life. This has been a wonderful series so far. Ivy has a wonderful way of storytelling. The story drags you in and keeps you engaged to the very end. Well done! 4.5 stars

Gianna and Will's story is a crazy one. I loved it! Enzo needs an alliance with Nico and promises Gianna's hand in marriage. It doesn't take long to find out that all he wants to do is rule her. But while trying on wedding dresses she gets kidnapped by Will, a hired hit man for Marco. He wants to marry her to destroy Enzo because he is allied with the Bratva. Then things start to get a little crazy. The twists in this story will keep you turning the pages not wanting to stop till the end. I read it in one go. I just love this series. I give it five stars.

What a great read, with drama, heat, and a bit of violence and suspense. Davis writes this trope with detail and perfection.

Will and Gianna meet under less than ideal circumstances. He's hired to kidnap her by her brother's mob rival, Marco. Will takes her from her wedding to another rival, Nico. In a strange turn of events, she goes from being shy and afraid to loud, confident, and in love. But even after Will saves her, multiple times, and puts himself in danger to protect Enzo, will they be able to be together?.

Gianna is Enzos little sister, she was sent to their aunt and uncle in the country, away from the dangers of the city, but not her aunts cruel nature. And certainly not from Will the hitman hired to kidnap her for her brothers enemies, only things take a turn and Will decides to keep her for himself. But her brother has no plans on letting him live after taking her, can Will and Gianna over come it all for a future together? Well written fast paced steamy, captive, romance

This is book four in this series and is about Enzo’s little sister getting engaged and is out looking at wedding dresses when she gets kidnapped by a hitman. This story is fast-paced and is filled with suspense, danger, chemistry and lots of drama. This book will keep you riveted until the end.

Gianna is willing to do her duty if not but to get out of her aunt's home but when she is taken and enclosed with Will feelings begin to form between them. He was only supposed to kidnap Gianna but feeling begin to from and everything goes sideways. Will they find their path to happiness and live to see it. This book kept had me connecting with the characters and cheering them on.

Book four of the King of the Mafia series is an intriguing addition to the series. Well written, characters are well developed, fast paced, steamy, suspenseful and an interesting storyline. It's such an easy read that I got it done in one sitting. Definitely recommend reading and look forward to seeing what Ivy Davis comes out with next.

This was a great slow burn!!!! I loved that the hitman ended up being not only the man who continuously saves Gianna, but also becomes not just the person that offers her a freedom she's never had but also the love of her life. The ending was amazing!!! Really loving this series!!!!

Enemies to lovers. Gianna and Will are on the run. She falls for the hitman that’s supposed to have given her to another. But it didn’t work out, so he keeps her. I loved the chaos and action in this one. It kept me on my toes. Loved how these two connected. Really great quick read.

I enjoyed this addition to the series and how it continues to expand the world. One of my favorite parts was seeing the main character come out of her shell and learn to advocate for herself and what she truly wants.

The relationship felt a bit rushed at times and leaned slightly into “Stockholm syndrome” territory, but it still had moments that kept me invested.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read, and I’m excited to see this world continue to grow.
