The mountain was supposed to be a sanctuary. Instead, it became a tomb. After a grueling, blood-soaked journey across a frozen America, former Army Ranger Noah Guerra and his son, Evan, have finally reached the ultimate safe Raven Rock. Deep beneath the Appalachian Mountains, the last remnants of the U.S. Military are holding the line.
But the old world's armor is useless against a new world's predator.
When Noah tries to warn the base commanders about Elias Thorne and his tier-one mercenary army, the bureaucratic generals dismiss him. They believe their blast doors are impenetrable. They are catastrophically wrong. Thorne doesn't siege the mountain from the outside—he weaponizes the blackout, launching a devastating cyber-attack that hijacks the bunker’s grid, seals the internal doors, and plunges Raven Rock into total darkness.
Trapped in a subterranean nightmare as Thorne’s elite Alpha Team breaches the walls, Noah must strip away the useless chain of command and lead a squad of terrified young Rangers into the pitch-black corridors to save his son. Meanwhile, Hannah—the ruthless, calculating survivor Thorne engineered—must turn the mountain's automated defense systems against her own creator's men.
Outgunned and out of time, Noah and Hannah face a brutal, agonizing surrender to the dark, or trigger the base's apocalyptic failsafe and bury Thorne's army beneath millions of tons of granite.

Don’t know why book 4 is not individually listed in GR, but I did listen to the audiobook though I can’t count it. This book is more action, killing, teaming up, and battling with Elias Thorne. I think I’m done with this series, the non-stop action is boring me. SSDD.
