An easy, but interesting read. As a Freemason myself, it was interesting to read the different stories of how the horrors of war can be pushed aside when people have a bond such as Freemasonry. If you are a Masonic Brother, this is a must read.
I haven't finished this and am not certain I will. I'm both a Mason and a Civil War fan so this book seemed a good choice - but so far it's a meticulous (plodding) chronicle of resolutions and speeches without a spark of life in it. Dull, even by the standards of Masonic literature - and that's saying something.
