Counting this since I read it about 100 times. Read the 3rd edition, very straight forward and easy to follow, great practice questions and helped me pass on my first attempt!

I read this book 3 times and did the practice exam at the back of the book twice. I joined the CCM certification made easy Facebook group that is associated with CCM certified liaisons who provided zoom videos with instructor lead presentations on the 5 domains that followed along with this book. The book and the wealth of knowledge guidance from the liaisons, and the community that I had access to that were associated with this book were integral to my successful first time pass at the CCM certification. For those testing in August 2025 and after, please wait to purchase the 4th edition coming out in June- if you already have the 3rd or were gifted the 3rd I don't think it would hurt to start learning the content early with the 3rd.

Helpful layout of the vast array of topics you need to know. Easy to understand writing format. Ridiculously large print honestly feels wasteful. Guess time will tell how highly to rate this one when I take the exam in a couple of weeks!

This is the only prep book you need for the CCMC exam. I am a very busy case manager who takes care of my mother who had a stroke to say the least i am busy busy busy. This book laid out the content in a very concise and understandable manner. With the help of this book and the casemanagementstudyguide.com website I felt prepared to take the CCM exam. It gave me the understanding and knowledge to know what to expect and how to prepare for the exam in only two days. I did not suggest for other to wait two days before taking the exam to study but if circumstances limit your ability to study like mine did, know that this book will help you like no other prep book on the market. I truly feel if I had been able to read your book prior taking the exam the first time i attempted it in September I would have passed it. Your book is amazing! And I passed the exam in Decembeer of 2015!

Although I am not a nurse nor am I taking the CCM Exam, I read the book to help out the author and give her some 'outside' hints to incorporate into the next edition. The book was very well laid out, easy to understand as she separated the book into sections based on the domain. If you are looking to get certified I highly recommend getting a hold of the book.
