Jenn, as everyone calls her, likes to keep things simple. That's why she runs a roofing construction business, teaches, writes and does her own business taxes eight days a week. She considers herself a multi-cultural and well-rounded person. Workers leave her alone when she starts yelling at them in Chinese and Malay. She also studies German and Russian because she can't pronounce French very well. The most boring and interesting thing she ever did was translating documents from various languages into English, giving her an opportunity to see many countries. Having traveled extensively in her twenties, she now spends her thirties quietly with six noisy dogs.
Shameless Promotion: Jenn was a RWA contest slut, having finaled in and won a bunch of them including the Marlene, the Merritt, and Indiana's Golden Opportunity. She is also a three-time finalist in the RWA Golden Heart contest before she became published. She would love to hear your comments about her books. She has been known to give away bookmarks and stuff to those who praise her.

AND, if your roof leaks, she can probably give you some advice!

Here are some wonderful writing friends of mine. I love their books! Please visit their sites and give them a try. Be careful. They are HOT WRITERS. Very addictive! Thanks--Jenn

I was given an ARC for Sinful by RJ Lewis. It was a very hot read. I'm very disappointed that she had to condense her story because of her limited word count and I feel like I could have went on and on with it had there been more! We're instantly introduced to Krisa, and she's a house cleaner that's been rescued by her religious Aunt. Krisa's dark past is still unclear, but she feels obligated to live up to her Aunt's and Uncle's expectations of her. Immediately we know Krisa is feisty. It starts off with her in a mansion cleaning the home of an infamous bad boy, not realizing he was also in the house with another woman. The second they meet, Kale is dark and broody, but he's also staring at Krisa with this secretive sort of demeanor that you can't help but wonder what is up with it. It's only after she leaves we're introduced to Kale and realize why that is.
The book was straight and to the point, filled with hot sex scenes and two complex characters you want to dig deeper in. I'm itching for more.

I had the opportunity to read three of the twenty novellas in the Summer Fire boxed set - L. Wilder Summer Storm, Cat Miller Sun Burnt, and Joan Reeves Heat Lightning. I can honestly say that I really enjoyed each story. All books in the boxed set are novella length, about 100 pages and can be read fairly quickly but still give you the feeling of getting a complete story. I am also happy that it helped me find some new authors. I had previously read only one author out of the twenty but now have a few more names to add to my read list. That alone would have made buying the book worth it, the 99¢ price is just an added bonus.

Summer Storm by L. Wilder is a great MC story. Allie and her brother Tony lost their parents at a young age and were placed into separate foster care homes. Now adults, Allie is working for child services and planning the construction of a community center for foster children. Sadly her brother didn't have the same experiences in foster care and is now living a dangerous life. Tony is in hiding from the Devils Chaser's MC after stealing a substantial amount of money from them. GuardrailI, Vice President of the MC is tasked with finding Tony by using his construction company to get an in with Allie. What starts off as a way to keep tabs Allie in hopes of finding her brother turns into so much more. There is great romance, steamy sex and just enough grit to make it a true MC story. I am now looking forward to going back and reading more from this author.

Sun Burnt by Cat Miller is my favorite so far. Kesslyn is a city girl, born and raised in Baltimore. When her grandfather passes away, as the only living family member, she inherits his cattle ranch in Texas. Kesslyn has no experience running a ranch, other then riding a horse, but she goes to Texas anyway to see what it is all about before deciding if she should sell the ranch or keep it. Beau is the very sexy ranch foreman who has no desire to settle down. The relationship between Beau and Kesslyn starts off with a literal bang and just keeps getting hotter from there. I typically don't read cowboy books but now I am starting to rethink my choices. This was one steamy story.

In Heat Lightning by Joan Reeves, Tessa is suffering from amnesia. She has no memory of who she is, where she is from or how she ended up this way. David has been searching for his wife for months but when he finally finds Tessa she is nothing like the wife he remembers. He doesn't fully trust that Tessa is actually suffering from amnesia but as hard as he tries to keep his distance he can't deny the strong pull they have towards one another. The sexual chemistry between Tessa and David is palpable. Now together at David's family lake house Tessa begins to remember her past and it becomes clear she may not be as safe as she thought she was. I really enjoyed the mystery aspect of this story and would love to read it as a full length book.

I think next I am going to give Victoria Danann's, A Season in Gemini a try and then maybe Patrice Wilton's, A Man for Hire after that. I think regardless of which stories you choose to read there is a little something for everyone. Plus they make great poolside reading.

THIS IS A REVIEW OF KILLER BY CLARISSA WILD, INCLUDED IN THIS BOX-SET.

Twisty, twisty, twisty…

I’m beginning to become more comfortable when main characters, usually one or the other, are “bad”. I’ve learned that bad can mean so many things when the spectrum ranges from deepest black to palest grey. A character can be bad while doing good things and other times they can be good while doing bad things. I think this is the first book I’ve read that I would label almost every character, lead or otherwise, as deliciously, jaw-droppingly bad. Fast-paced, this novella is a quick read and if its intent as a prequel is to gather interest in the next novel, mission accomplished!

Vanessa Starr’s supposed husband is dead. Supposed? Oh yes, I caught that too and still wonder exactly what that means. The surprises don’t end there as the story begins and ends with a number of twists and turns along the way. Flitting from various points of view and back and forth in the timeline, I had to be on my toes to keep track of the action and the drama as events just roll, one after the other, to a cliffhanger that is not really a cliffhanger.

Do I like the characters? Well, I’m not sure at this point. What I do know is they are like a car wreck and, like the book cover, I can’t, I won’t, take my eyes off them. So many unanswered questions and given the felonies so far, I can’t wait to find out where this story is headed… ~ Diane, 4 stars

I received Teresa Gabelman’s Rodeo Romance advance copy to read and review.
5++++ stars
I never read straight romance novels they tend to be too sappy, boring,no paranormal action, little humor, any horror, or mystery then Teresa goes and blows my world with her story. I went into reading this feeling I would sort of like it because I really like Teresa’s writing style but straight up romance isn’t my thing. Darn it if she didn’t pull me into the rodeo world of Trisha and Jake. Trisha and her best friend Cindy had me cracking up throughout the book. I remember the ‘dude ranch’ vacations when I was younger and thought the same as Cindy, a ranch with dudes now that’s a vacation!!! I probably wouldn’t read the brochure either! The eyes under the bed scene still has me cracking up. Then Trisha and Jake just WOW!!!! By the end of the novel I was crying so much I had to go back to the eyes under the bed scene to stop. Teresa is a great writer that can throw humor at you one second and have a tender awesome love scene so fast you’re crying and laughing at the same time and people in the park looking at you like you belong at the funny farm!!! Great novel by a great writer and I can still poke fun at my mother for reading sappy Fern Michaels books cause this isn’t your mothers romance novels LOL.

I got to read Summer Fire by Teresa Gableman and Trisha's best friend Cindy annoyed me the woman complained about everything it was like shut up already. Jake he was hot and well hot, "she was bent over, her sexy curved ass practically parallel to his hardening c***. “Damn." He's quite protective, "why did you get a restraining order against this guy?” Jake asked, his voice no longer friendly. “Did he hit you?” With that question, his voice became deadly." And he's possessive, "Jake had managed to back her against a wall. “Because no one threatens what’s mine." I enjoyed this novella and if the other novellas in this book are like Teresa's then it's totally worth getting this anthology.

I received Rodeo Romance from Teresa Gabelman for an honest review. I loved loved this story!! Teresa steps out of her "normal" in a wonderfully entertaining way. Trisha and Jake (cowboy yum!) love is sweetly believable.
I hope she writes a story for Tim and Cindy because Cindy is a real hand full- she cracked me up and I wanted to punch her at the same time!

1) Gemini by Victoria Danann is the forth book in this box set. This box is the first book in a new series for Ms Danann. It is a step away from her paranormal series Black Swan Knights. This book does not have vampires, werewolves, witch’s or demons. However it does have a hot, sexy, gorgeous couple with a zest for life and each other. I loved this story line and did not stop reading until I came to the very last word in the book. I can’t wait for the next part of this new series. Victoria Danann has out done herself and proved not only is she a fabulous author but she has the talent to cover different genres.

2) A Man For Hire by Patrice Wilton is the thirteenth book in this box set. I received a ARC copy of A Man For Hire. To be up front and honest I have not read any of Patrice Wilton’s books. However, after reading A Man For Hire I plan to put all of her books on my TBR list. I truly enjoy this book. The story line is well developed and written. If you read books about romance and love you will enjoy this sweet love story

3) Summer Rhythm by Brandy L. Rivers is the nineteenth book in this box set. I received a ARC copy of this book for an honest review. This is the first book of Ms Rivers that I have read. I enjoyed reading this romance that was sweet with some heat. The storyline and characters are well written and developed. I plan to put Ms Rivers on my list of authors to read.

4) Husband For A Week by Mona Risk is the twelfth book in this box set. I received a ARC copy of this book for review purposes. I enjoyed this romantic easy read. Ms Risk has drawn me in with her well written story. This book is perfect for a fun summer read.

5) Rodeo Romance by Teresa Gabelman is the ninth book in this box set. My heart is still racing a little after reading this sweet love story. Within the first chapter Ms Gabelman had me hooked. I needed to find out what had happened to Trisha and what would happen. The way she has developed the storyline and characters makes this a truly enjoyable read.

6) Irish Wishes by Helen Scott Taylor is the tenth book in this box set. I fell in love with the story of Fiona and Aaron. This is a story of lost love being found again. Will they take the chance? The characters are well developed and the storyline if a fun read. Ms Taylor’s book is a perfect addition to Summer Fire Anthology.

7) Big Girls Don’t Cry by Mimi Barbour is the seventh book in this box set. Big girls do cry and laugh which is what this book did for me. I enjoyed the way Ms Barbour has developed the main characters and her storyline. I was caught up in the story and did not realize I was through reading until I turned the last page. I have added Ms Barbour to my list of authors that I want to read more of.

8) Summer Storm by L. Wilder is the third book in the box set. I loved this book. I have always been drawn to the bad boy, biker dude. And the way Ms Wilder has written this storyline and developed the characters was like a hug to me. I look forward to reading more of her books.

9) Sun Burnt by Cat Miller is the sixth book in the box set. I enjoyed the was Ms Miller developed the characters and the storyline. Most women will admit to liking a bad boy in their life at some point. And this book has a very loveable bad boy. I was disappointed when the book end because I could have kept reading this story for hours longer.

10) Sweet Surrender by Victoria James is the eleventh book in the box set. I found the storyline and characters in this sweet love story most enjoyable. I look forward to reading more books by this same author.

11) Killer by Clarissa Wild is the eighth book in the box set. This book is the prequel to her standalone book Stalker. I have read a few of Ms Wild’s book and love the way she writes however this book was a surprise to me. This book is a dark read with a twist in the end.

12) Sinful (part 1) by R.J. Lewis is the second book in the box set. This book is part 1 of 2. The storyline is well developed and fun to read. The characters seem to have secrets of their own. I can’t wait to read the second part of this story. (Cliff hanger)

13) My Mile-High Mistake by Linda Barlow is the fourteenth book in the box set. I loved the storyline and the way Ms Barlow created her characters. This was a fun read that brought me back to that one crush when I was young. You never know where or when you might run into them. This book is a perfect addition to Summer Fire.

14) Someone Exactly Like You by Terri Marie is the seventeenth book in the box set. I loved this book. Ms Marie pulled me in and had me so engaged that I did not realized I had come to the end of the story til I read “To be continued in the full-length version…”
The main characters involve a shy girl with self esteem issues and a loud, self assertive man. I can’t wait to find out what happens to them. I will be sitting on the edge of my seat for July to get here.

15) Anchor by Nicole Blanchard is the last book in the box set. This book is well written and the characters are well developed. The description of the sand, sun and sea help me conjure up a mental picture that has me longing to move back to the coast. This sweet, sexy love story is perfect for Summer Fire Anthology.

16) Sizzle by Gennita Low is the first book in the box set. The title of this book is a good way to describe it, a sexy, sizzling, action packed book. Two people for opposing sides fall in love during a countries unrest, lucky to get away with their lives. I enjoyed this fast passed book.

17) Solstice Burn by Kym Grosso is the fifth book in the box set. This is the first book in Ms Grosso’s new series Club Altura Romance. I have read all of her series The Immortals of New Orleans and love them, so when I read this book I figured it would be good. Ms Grosso did not disappoint. I Love It. I can’t wait til the next one in this series is released on Jun 2, 2015. Solstice Burn is the perfect addition to Summer Fire.

18) Heat Lightning by Joan Reeves is the fifteenth book in the box set. I have not read any other books my Ms Reeves. I will admit I had a little trouble getting into this book and struggled through the first two chapters. Once I got past this I found the storyline and characters developed well. The mystery in this book did help me come to like this book.

19) His Promise by Lorhainne Eckhart is the eighteenth book in the box set. This story is about first love that go away. The storyline that Ms Eckhart has created has you hoping that the young lovers will find their way back to each other. This book is a great addition to Summer Fire.

20) Tan Lines and Salty Kisses is the sixteenth book in the box set. The storyline and characters in this book are very well developed. The main couple are college sweethearts, going to school in different states. The each are hiding a secret from each other. Will she love and support him with decision he has made? Will he love and support her when she needs him most? I look forward to the continuation of their story with the next book.

1- "A Season In Gemini" -Victoria Danann

I received an ARC of Victoria Danann's contribution,"A Season In Gemini", to the Summer Fire boxed set for an honest review.
I have been an avid reader of Ms. Danann's paranormal romance series and when she decided to test the waters of romance with a motorcycle club influence, I was excited! I found myself reminiscing of summer romances in the past, where the weather was hot and the romance was even hotter. Stepping inside this book filled my head with notions of black leather, air hitting my face as I wrapped my arms around the hunk and my legs around the rumbling beast as we fly down the highway with not a care in the world....
The main characters in this book are well written and lovable and some you may find yourself disliking. I sooooo look forward to the next book in the Sons of Sanctuary series.
Bravo, Ms. Danann!

2- "Summer Rhthym"-Brandy L Rivers

I received an ARC of Ms. Rivers' book and went into it with eyes and mind wide open as this was my first time reading her work. I found this to be a sweet, and somewhat sizzling romance that fits nicely into the Summer Fire boxset. The characters were well written and the storyline flowed. Chloe and Doug couldn't fight what their hearts had known all along, they just took the long road to get there.

3- A Man For Hire"- Patrice Wilton
Thanks to Ms Wilton for giving me a copy of her book to read for an honest review. "A Man For Hire" ....that man was Bradley.....recently divorced, a lawyer moonlighting on the weekends as an escort, and he's hired by Jordan as her make believe boyfriend for the weekend. Their weekend together is filled with surprises and the future holds more.... I enjoyed. It!

4-Husband For A Week-Mona Risk
I received an early copy of Husband For A Week(Book 2 in the High Rise series) from the author for a honest review.
This was a quick easy read...very enjoyable romantic story with a touch of Siciliy. Ms. Risk's contribution to the Summer Fire boxset definitely adds to the romantic sizzle found within the books of this "hot" boxed set!

This review is for Leslie Wilder's Summer Storm.

FIVE STARS!

This novella kicks off what promises to be another fantastic MC series by the talented Leslie Wilder. We met Maverick through her Devil Chasers MC series, and this story kicks off a series about Maverick's MC, Satan's Fury.

Summer Storm is Kane "Guardrail" Blackwood, Satan Fury's VP, and Allison Parker's story. Allie, a child of the foster system and employee of the Department of Children's Services, dreams of a place where kids can congregate safely and participate in a variety of programs, activities and special events. This is an important project for Allie, both professionally and personally. Enter Guadrail aka Kane and SF Construction.

"With just one look, I felt him claim me in every way I could ever imagine."

During the bidding process, Kane and Allie trade emails which quickly morph into a very sexy flirtation. By the time they meet for the first time, both of them are primed and ready to see where the attraction that started through those emails can go. Like a summer storm rolling in, Kane and Allie are helpless against the force of their attraction, and they both fall fast and hard for each other. But does Kane have an interest in Allie that goes beyond the professional and budding personal relationship?

This is a fast paced, action packed, steamy story. I'm excited about Leslie's new series, and I'm very much looking forward to the ride she'll take us on with this crew!

*ARC generously provided by the author with the understanding that I would review honestly.

A Season In Gemini Intro to Sons of Sanctuary by Victoria Danann - This story really shows both sides of the fence so to speak. One woman that comes from corporate money and one man that comes from dirty money who wants nothing to do with it. Garland is a woman who gets what she wants when she wants it until her father puts a halt to it and giving her an ultimatum. Brant is a man who gets what he wants but gets it honestly instead of following in his father's footsteps. When Garland and Brant come face to face they both want each other. Garland sees a bad boy that she knows her father will hate and Brant see a spoiled woman but as they keep bumping into each other the friendship grows and they learn a lot about each other. This story is filled with so many surprises and sucked me in straight from the first page. Victoria Dannan, as always, brought me into her world and she hasn't let go yet. I seriously can't wait for the next book in this series.

More to come...

This review is specifically for Victoria Danann's A Season in Gemini. Reviews for other novels in this set to follow.

Ms. Danann hits a home run with her first at bat into contemporary romance. She has a way of drawing the reader into the story so you feel as if you are right there observing (or maybe even being part of) what is going on. Garland could be the poster girl for spoiled rich kid; Brant is just trying to live his life outside of his Dad's motorcycle club. When these two meet their lives change in ways neither could have thought possible.

There is a cliffie; but have no fear book 2 in the Sons of Sanctuary will be out soon!

** I was given advanced copies of Anchor by Nicole Blanchard, Solstice Burn by Kym Grosso, and A Season in Gemini by Victoria Danann in exchange for honest reviews**

First, Anchor by Nicole Blanchard.
AMAZING is all I can say! This is a flirty sexy novella that you will definitely want to have with you on a hot summer day!
Chloe needs to charter a boat in order to take some pictures of land for work. Gabe a sexy, pissy charter boat captain is her last resort because a storm is brewing. When he turns her down at first, she just won't take no for an answer. Once out on the water the storm comes and strands them in an old cabin for the night. While waiting out the storm they spend the time talking and getting to know each other. Will their spark of attraction still be there when the storm is over?
This is the first story I have read by Nicole Blanchard. I can assure you it will not be the last. I gave Anchor 5 stars because I couldn't give any more!!

The second book, Solstice Burn by Kym Grosso is a sexy story set in paradise.
Penny, a play-it-safe lawyer from New York is on vacation at an adults only resort with her friend Tara. When she tries her hand at snorkeling it just reminds her why she does not do adventure. Chase a scientist from California lives for adventure. He just so happens to be the one to rescue Penny when she slips under the water during her snorkeling trip. Chase cannot stop thinking about the mermaid he helped and sets out to find her. Things heat up between them and Chase helps Penny explore an adventuresome side she never realized she had.
Can an attraction that started in paradise survive the reality of two different lifestyles on two opposite coasts?
You will want to have a cool drink handy while reading this steamy story.

The third novella, A Season in Gemini is a nostalgic summer read that will remind you of your first summer romance.
Garland St. Germaine grew up with money and privilege, but with that came a controlling father. When given the ultimatum of either accompanying her father on a three month business trip to Austin, or being cut off from the family wealth, of course she chose Austin. Brant Fornight was anexcellent mechanic, living a simple life trying to avoid the complications that being involved in this father’s motorcycle club would offer. He has a good job working as Head Mechanic at the Yellow Rose Country Club and Resort. One day Garland happens to wonder into his shop. Two more opposite people could not have developed a stronger connection. Will their connection be enough to survive after the summer? Or will this be one hot summer romance that fades with the cool weather of fall?
A Season in Gemini is an introduction to the Sons of Sanctuary MC series. This novella has characters that you will connect with right away. The story is intriguing and definitely sets you up to want to read the other novels in this series. Lucky for us, the next novel in the series is set to come out soon.

Based on these three very different novellas, Summer Fire has a hot story for every romance lover! This is definitely a collection you will want to have in your reader on vacation or by the pool.

I have only read a couple of these novella's so far but I loved them both. I can't wait to read more of the stories in this anthology. And what a great way to meet try authors without spending a lot of money...

Here are the reviews for what I have read:

Solstice Burn by Kym Grosso: WOW!!! Simply WOW!!! This is Kym Grosso's first foray out the paranormal world & I have got to say, she hit a total home run!!! This is a quick sexy little vacation novella.

Penny Travis works 16 hour days back in New York City trying to get that vaunted Junior Partner position in the law firm she works for. When her friend talks her into taking a vacation to Precioso Beach all she wants is some fun in the sun, a chance to relax & breath. Little does she know that she's going to meet a sexy billionaire when she almost drowns during a snorkeling trip.

Chase Abbott is taking a working vacation at Precioso Beach. While on a dive he sees a beautiful woman going under & manages to catch her before things turn dire. He hadn't come to Precioso to play, he didn't really have time for the distraction of a vacation fling. But he can't stop thinking of the mermaid he saved.

This is what happens when two hard-working people feel an undeniable attraction. Come along & enjoy this wonderful little novella, the first in a new series by Kym Grosso.

A Season in Gemini by Victoria Dannan: This is Victoria Dannan’s first foray into contemporary romance & I think it was a pretty good start. This book was the prequel to her Sons of Sanctuary MC series. It’s about Brant Fornight & Garland St. Germaine.

Ms. Dannan took me into the lives of her characters & really let me get to know what made them tick. I felt sympathy for Garland when I easily could have seen her in a much different way. I really liked Brant & was very angry about the way he was treated by Garlands’ father.

I really don’t want to give any spoilers, just let me say that I am looking forward to reading more of this series by Ms. Dannan.

Summer Rhythm by Brandy L Rivers: This is Doug (from Nights Embrace) & Chloe's story & a bit of a departure for Brandy L. Rivers, in that n one in this story is Paranormal. But it is just as great a story as any of her Others books.

Chloe has made some mistakes in the past & she broke Doug's heart, not once but twice. She is now back in Seattle & has learned her lesson. She wants another chance with Doug. Will he trust her enough to take yet another chance with his heart. Give this wonderful little novella a chance & find out. You won't be disappointed.

Anchor by Nicole Blanchard: This is the first book I have read by Nicole Blanchard but I am definitely looking forward to reading more.

This story was just enough to whet my appetite. I really must have more of Gabriel & Chloe! The only bad thing I have to say about this book was that it was just too short. I really MUST know what the future brings for these two wonderful characters.

I was given a free copy of Leslie Wilder's "Summer Storm" and Clarissa Wild's "Killer" (just two of the shorts in this anthology) and oh my...if these are any indication of the type of novellas we have in store for the rest of the book...you ladies better get your fan and cold drinks ready because they are going to be smoking hot!
Biker books are one of my favorites to read so I was not disappointed in the least...I say grab this anthology just for the chance to read one of Wilder's stories (I have read at least 4 of her books already).
A trusting young woman who grew up in foster care (away from her brother who definitely took the wrong path in life) becomes mixed up with and falls for a building contractor (who is a biker). She becomes unwittingly involved in a plan to catch and kill her brother, who has stolen from the club and it becomes a fast and furious race to get him before he ruins his sister's life. There was romance, intense violence, some sexy bedroom action and although it was a novella, still told a complete story from start to finish. I would just really love to have an expanded longer version of this story to get more in-depth with the characters!
The second book "Killer" was a thriller about a womanizing husband who is murdered and the plot thickens as his wife is blamed for it. Did she do it or was she the pawn in a scheme by someone else? This one was sexy, suspenseful and had so many twists (in such a short book) that I wasn't sure who to believe. The end was a surprise and it opens up the door for the next book in Wild's series. A delicious taste of what will be a great revenge book to come.
This anthology looks like it will be the perfect vacation/beach read for romance lovers of all genres. Get it while you can!

It was an honor to get an ARC of one of the stories that will be in this amazing book with a amazing list of authors.
Anchor by Nicole Blanchard.
* I was given ARC in return for honest review**
OMG I'm lost for words, I've been so exciting to get my hands on this book, that when it showed up I was like EEK. Chloe is on a job assignment to take pictures of properties in order to get the shot she has to charter a boat.........Gabriel "Gabe" is sexy, pissy but when Chloe approaches him and he turns her away Chloe doesn't take no for an answer. Gabe takes Chloe to her desire spots but has to cut trip short due to sever wheather. Having to dock and take shelter at some ramdom bulding, Chloe never dreamed this is what her day would intel, but she's never met someone like Gabe before. Gabe and Chloe get to know each other while they're stranded. but sparks fly and chemistry ignites. will this trip be the trip of a life time for both. I absolutely loved this story, I was pulled in from the first page. Chloe is a spit fire and Gabe is all sexy. The attraction is obvious and I felt ever emotion that was between these two. Although it's a quick read we learn alot about the characters and are left wanting more. This will be an awesome story. my only complaint is I'm not done with Gabe and Chloe I want more. This was a first for me reading Nicole Blanchard and it will not be the last. she's done an awesome job , very well written.
This is only one of many amazing stories by an amazing author. This book is filled with love, sex, hot alpha males. with amazing authors such as Danielle Jamie, Nicole Blanchard, Clarissa Wild, and Kym Grosso you can't go wrong, but these are just a few of the authors who have gave us an awesome book.

I have not completed this collection yet! This collection is fabulous. One of the books in the collection is Anchor by Nicole Blanchard. Here is my review from her book.
Received an ARC for an honest review! This is the first book I have read by Nicole Blanchard. Let me say she will be a one click author for me from now on. Anchor will be part of the Summer Fire Anthology. Chloe needs to get some work done as she is on assignment and she will not take another "no" for an answer. Gabe, ex navy, is the man for the job. These two have chemistry that neither one wants to admit. What happens when the storm that is brewing outside comes in faster than expected? Take shelter, protect the best you can and #anchor yourself for a ride. While you are anchored take a look at the storm that is brewing inside and see what happens. I enjoyed this novella and I am looking forward to more. Nicole Blanchard was able to bring these characters to life. You are able to visualize and hear the conversations. Chloe is strong and Gabe is sexy. I can see that Gabe will be a new book boyfriend for a lot of people. Get ready and be sure to #anchor yourself for this novella.
As I continue the collection I will be updating the review. I know that I will enjoy this collection. You may find yourself following new authors and then you will probably find yourself saying yes I love that author. Either way it is worth it.

"unDefeated" by J.C. Valentine
Wow! That was crazy good!! Totally not what I expected, but it was oh so much more. I really enjoyed reading about Spencer and Olivia. They made their relationship work in spite of their problems. This was my first book by J.C. Valentine, can't wait to read more. I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.

"Solstice Burn" by Kym Grosso
Wow! What an adventure! Chase and Penny make a unique couple. Pushing the limits in all kinds of ways! It was a great book and great addition to Summer Fire. Another great story Kym Grosso. I received an ARC for an honest review.

"A Season in Gemini" by Victoria Danann

I received a arc copy of Teresa Gabelman's Rodeo Romance for a honest review.

Gabelman is stepping totally out of her paranormal comfort zone with this contemporary romance, but she delivers.
Trisha Summers and her friend Cindy are off to a Dude Ranch for the summer but they're not strictly getting away for fun, they're getting away to give Trisha's ex time to get over the restraining order she put out on him for hitting her.
Trisha isn't looking for romance but she finds it in Jake McCabe cowboy, rodeo rider, part of the family that owns the ranch, and did I mention cowboy? A
HOT cowboy!!
For Jake it's love at first sight but it takes Trisha a little longer.
I love that Gabelman sticks with a familiar area making Trisha and Cindy for Cincinnati! I've never been to Texas but Jake is the kinda of man I picture when i picture a cowboy!
It moves fast, but it's a novella and that's what you expect. I would love a revisit to these characters and to find out just how it went down with Trisha's BFF Cindy and Jakes brother Tim.

Well done Teresa Gabelman, you've got another hit in my book!!

I was lucky and read an advance copy Of Tan Line and.Salty Kisses by Danielle Jamie
and she has done it again! Her short sweet love stories get me hooked everytime!!

I met Parker and Becca in Just For The Summer a book that I absolutely loved.
I had no idea they were more than a summer fling but wow they developed true deep feelings and they seem so happy and wanting a future together. They both have a secret they are keeping from the other adding a bit of mystery and not letting me put the book down until I found out. Holy Crap when their secrets come out they are huge and seriously life changing. They seem to get themselves together and make a plan for the future but you know what they say about best laid plans....

Any fans of Chase and Ashlynn like myself will love seeing a bit of what those two have been up to.

I really enjoyed another fun filled summer story and in true Danielle fashion she leaves you wanting more!

Can't wait to read the rest of the stories in this anthology!!!

This review is for Rodeo Romance by Teresa Gabelman.

Cindy thought she would get her friend Trisha out of town for a vacation after Trisha served her "ex" with a restraining order. They were going to a dude ranch although it wasn't what Cindy expected Trisha loved it. When Trisha met Jake, a handsome cowboy and owner of the rnach, there is something about him that Trisha wants to get to know more about. Jake runs the ranch with his brother Tim and his mom and they are doing the dude ranch to keep the ranch going. Jake doesn't want anything to do with the "city girls" but there is something about Trisha that he can't her off his mind. Find out more about their relationship in this awesome story - no spoilers here.

This is a great read by the amazing Teresa Gabelman and stepping outside the paranormal genre. I enjoyed this book and would recommend highly to everyone as a must read. Congrats Teresa on another awesome book

My review of A Season in Gemini by Victoria Danann.
I just loved this. Driving to my Dad's house. I talked the whole 45 min drive about this book. My husband just kept grinning. He loves it when I get really excited about a new book.. It was a beautiful 80 degree day here. There were a ton of "Bikes" out. I noticed at one stop light. In my rear view mirror I saw a young women rubbing the abs of her biker man. I just had to smile! Not giving away any spoilers but you will see something similar to this in the book. This book took me back to my twenties. It is so exciting to read a new book by a favorite Author. I Love a sexy Biker story. This has all the elements that we look for in a great romance. Please do yourself a favor & get your copy now.It is so good I have already read it 2 times. It really is a fabulous read… From a Forever fan… Pam James

While I have not had a chance to read all of the stories in this box set yet, I did get to enjoy Victoria Danann's A Season in Gemini.

A Season in Gemini is a break from Victoria Danann's trypical genre of PNR, but was just as well written as usual, with fantastic characters that leave you wanting more!

It is an introduction to her new Sons Of Sanctuary MC series. It is a great summer love story of Garland, a just graduated from college socialite from a well to do family and Brant, a small town mechanic and son of a biker. While it seems like these two are world's apart, their fates collide in spectacular fashion with sparks flying!

Please note, while this book can be read alone, it does tease of the story to come in TWO PRINCES: The Biker and The Billionaire (Sons of Sanctuary MC Book 1).

I received an copy for a honest review.

Teresa Gabelman's Rodeo Romance was a great read. Though if you have read Teresa's books before she is stepping outside of the Paranormal genre. I enjoyed the book, Jake and Tim sexy cowboy brothers that run a dude ranch to help keep their ranch in the money. Trisha and her friend Cindy going to the ranch as Cindy's way of helping Trisha escape her ex-boyfriend after she files a restraining order on him.

Rodeo Romance is part of a boxed set and though a quick read it, I didn't feel that the story was rushed. The characters interaction was very well written. I enjoyed Jake and Trisha's story and didn't think that there were any holes in the story. Though at times Cindy's character tended to be annoying, it only added to the story.

I can't wait for the boxed set to come out!

***ARC provided in exchange for an honest review - Jacquie / Scandalous Book Blog***
I always get so excited when a new Danielle Jamie book pops up on my kindle as I love her work and she never disappoints.
In this short novella the friends from the Chasing Carolina series are on holidays again but this time the focus shifts to Becca and Parker.
It turns out that they were more than just a summer fling and have true feelings for each other and have been seeing each other over the year.
Both of them are hiding secrets from each other which threatens to tear them apart.
As always Danielle’s writing style is effortless the sex scenes are hot but you never feel like she’s put them in the book to shock like some authors.
I loved this short story and I can’t wait to read more about these two and to see where their story takes us.

Review of Danielle Jamie Tan Lines & Salty Kisses.

I'm totally running out of good things to say about Danielle's books. This is another hot sexy yet sweet and romantic novella that I finished in about 2 hours flat.

The prologue alone pulled me into this story and then I was hooked... What with two great connectable characters, hot sexy scenes and TWO huge life changing secrets this novella is a winner.

I love that Parker and Becca got their own story and I loved that we saw some familiar characters and got to see what they had been up to.

The secrets they harbour were, as I said huge, and I honestly can't wait to see where their story goes from here! Hurry up with that novel Danielle!!

I was lucky enough to read Rodeo Romance by the amazing Teresa Gabelman and I LOVED it! Trisha is brought to a dude ranch by her best friend Cindy ( who I loved but wanted to punch at the same time haha) after a bad breakup. So what better way to make her bestie feel better than hot cowboys right? There Trisha meets the hot, hunky, sweet cowboy Jake McCabe who can't understand why he wants to know so much about the city girl staying there. Sparks (and clothes ;-) ) fly when he asks her out to dinner with him. Can Jake prove to Trisha he's not like her sorry ex and prove he's a amazing guy worthy of her love? Worthy of loving her? Well you're just gonna have to read it to see how that goes! Trust me you want to read it!

I've read a couple of stories in this box set so far...one of which was a season in Gemini by Victoria Danann. I have to say anything Victoria Danann writes is AWESOME! This author must have a magic pen because she brings magic to us all the time. This story was set back a few years and it's the old tale of rich girl with guy from the wrong side of the tracks! I don't want to leave any spoilers so I'm treading carefully. This is a good story and will keep you wanting more and more. If you like love stories and like to root for the underdog this is for you. It is in the box set of Summer Fire which has a lot more great stories! (less)
