He never planned to fall for her. Now he’ll risk everything to save her.
As a special agent—and a self-proclaimed bachelor—Brian Malone has rules that keep his life controlled and complication-free.
Until Tess Bingham.
Tess has sacrificed too much to gamble on a man with a reputation for being a player. She put med school on hold to raise her teenage brother, Andy, and built a stable life working as the medical examiner’s assistant.
When a storm damages their home, Brian offers Tess and Andy the use of his family’s beach house while repairs are made. Soon, he’s checking in far more often than necessary—and pretending the attraction between them doesn’t exist becomes impossible.
Then Tess disappears.
Now Brian isn’t just investigating a crime… he’s hunting the people responsible.
Because this isn’t just another case. It’s the woman who won his heart.

Brian Malone is a former Marine and current special agent with North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. Each of his brothers found the woman of his dreams and are settling down. However, that isn't Brian's dream. He's a self confessed bachelor for life.
Tess Bingham is raising her 16 year old brother Andy after their parents died in a car accident. Currently working at the county coroner's office as an assistant, she's considered a member of the local law enforcement family. When her house is damaged in a storm, Brian extends the offer of his uncle's beach house to Tess and Andy until their house is repaired.
This simple action sets off a chain of events that will alter their lives forever. Life seems to change and form around them when they least expect it, and the life they never knew they wanted becomes evident and slowly within grasp--- until danger knocks on their door and a future is no longer guaranteed. Every intention has a consequence. What will be the end consequence for Brian, Tess and Andy?
"Her Savior" is the conclusion to the Malone Brothers series. While this book can be read as a stand alone novel, it's best to read the series in order to fully appreciate the relationship between all of the characters. I absolutely loved reading each book in the series and falling in love with this incredible family. This book has everything that a wonderful story needs to thoroughly enthrall me-- likeable and entertaining main and secondary characters; a suspenseful plot full of twists and turns; and palpable angst between main characters. This was definitely the conclusion to this series I wanted but didn't know that I needed. :)
This is a good romantic suspense novel. I haven't read the first two books and it's perfectly possible to see this as a standalone.
Samantha Coal writes strong female characters, and in this book it's not different. I really liked Tess, she shoulders quite a lot but she also is very determined, she is not a doormat or looking for an easy way out.
Brian is a bit of a character. Determined not to fall in love or have a lasting relationship, Tess takes him utterly by surprise and put his world upside down. His change of attitude was a bit fast, but enjoyable to read. You can feel his longing for love even if he is utterly determined that he doesn't need it.
The first half of the book is more the building of the attraction and the start of their relationship, it's a bit slow burn and takes up a bit too much of the story for me. We have some hints what maybe the mystery portion of it, but nothing really happens until the second half of the book.
Andy is quite a good character, the author managed to get the teenage life with all its ups and downs very well.
It's not the most thrilling suspense, it was a good read but it didn't hook me like some of the books that author wrote in her other universes. I think I will definitely look out the other Malone books to catch up with the rest of the family.
Will Brian learn that you never say never! I’ve been waiting for Brian’s story in the Malone Brothers series and fell in love with it! Too good to put down when I thought I would read a few chapters before bed and surprisingly it was 3AM when I finished the book. I love how Brian has always been about NEVER settling down, but seeing his brothers meet their happily ever after somehow sits wrong with him. In the course of his work with the State Bureau of Investigations, he meets Tess at the Coroner's office. While on duty, his partner and him witness some gang members and give chase, capturing Tess’ brother, Andy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. When Tess’ house is damaged from a tree falling, Brian offers his uncle’s beach home to stay in while the repairs are made. What starts as just friendship, quickly grows into friends with benefits. Andy is enticed by some easy money with the gang not realizing the consequences of saying “no” when they ask for something else. When Tess doesn’t arrive home after Andy receives a disturbing call, Brian steps up with cache of connections to find out where she was taken. How will it all end? You have to read to find out and don’t think you’re putting this book down before you turn the last page!
Brian is the last of the Malone brothers still single—and he’s convinced love and “forever” just aren’t in the cards for him. That is, until he starts feeling an undeniable spark with the captivating medical examiner’s assistant who occasionally works on his cases.
Tess has spent years putting her own life on hold to raise her teenage brother, leaving little room for romance or thoughts of the future. But life has a way of shifting priorities, and when the connection between Brian and Tess begins to grow, they both start to wonder if what they never planned for might be exactly what they need.
When Tess’s computer-savvy brother gets pulled into trouble with a dangerous gang, the stakes rise quickly, and it becomes a race against time—not just to keep him safe, but to protect the chance at a future neither Brian nor Tess saw coming.
As always, Samantha delivers a compelling, emotional story. She’s one of those authors I find myself coming back to again and again—her books really are that good. A truly great read!.

Her Savior by Samantha Cole blends romance and suspense in a way that keeps the stakes high from beginning to end. Brian Malone is a special agent who prides himself on being a bachelor, but meeting Tess Bingham quickly begins to change everything he thought he wanted. Tess has already sacrificed so much to care for her younger brother, Andy, and watching Brian slowly become part of their lives added a really emotional layer to the story. The connection between the three of them felt genuine, and the slow-burn chemistry between Brian and Tess built naturally as their relationship developed.
Just when things begin to feel steady, the story takes a darker turn when Tess disappears, pushing Brian into a relentless search to find her. The suspense, danger, and emotional tension kept the story moving quickly, and it was impossible not to root for them. I especially loved seeing Brian break his own rules when it came to protecting the woman he loves. This was a great mix of romance, action, and heartfelt moments that made it a really satisfying read.
Tess is a strong woman , who gave up on medical school to raise her younger brother Andy. No second thoughts when their parents were killed in a car accident. Now working as an assistant to the medical examiner. Brian is a police officer and one confirmed bachelor. He and Tess have crossed paths over the last four years. Just hellos but when Tess’s home is damaged in a storm, he offerers her and Andy his uncle Dan’s beach home. Andy is a wiz on the computer and some very bad men have eyes on his skills. While Andy finds himself adjusting to his new home and maybe a new love , Tess and Brian start a friendship that is slowly blossoming into spice and trust. These two have a lot in common, chemistry and show the other how it is to trust. Oh we have slow burn, action , emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships. Never mind the drama, danger, suspense, intrigue, tension, chemistry, spice and romance.

This is book three in the Maline Brothers series- this is Brian's story. Brian is in law enforcement, a self proclaimed bachelor and lives life with no complications. Tess is a medical examiner's assistant, she is currently raising her teenage brother and is trying to survive one day at a time, no time for relationships. These two characters cross paths at work regularly but neither has thought of the other as anything but a coworker. Greater foreces join when Mother Nature steps in and the local gang decides to pull in Tess's brother, Andy into some illegal activity. I enjoyed the story, the author includes just enough background that you know who the Malones are (if you have not read previous books), you get to cross paths with previous book characters as well as meet a couple new ones and of course her signature character chemistry is included. Enjoy!.

Absolutely Blown Away!! This is the third book in the Malone Brothers series and Samantha Cole not only doesn't disappoint us readers, but she Absolutely will blow you away with another fantastic book. Its A Slow Burn Story with a build up of Suspense and Action Packed and Smoking hot chemistry. Brian Malone is a special agent for state Bureau Investigation of North Carolina and Known bachelor who isn't ready to commit ,but When he meets his match Tess Bingham who has been through so much and raising her brother Andrew and a very strong independent woman, will he fall first? I absolutely loved this book and fell in love with the characters in the book. you can feel their chemistry and emotions throughout the book. This book is compelling and captivating and tantalizing and heartbreaking and so much more. trust me this book is definitely a must read and on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd definitely give it 10 congratulations on another fantastic story Samantha Cole.
I loved every word of Her Savior. From the heartwarming romance to the drama, suspense, danger and action, this is Samantha Cole at her best. The connection between Tess and Brian is immediate and try as he might not to get emotionally involved, she has a way of making him rethink his thinking. In addition, Brian's slow evolving connection to Tess's teenage brother is emotional, strained at times but ultimately rewarding. Tess knows she has enough on her plate that getting involved with a man is a nonstarter but that doesn't mean she can't fantasize a little (or a lot.) Mother Nature seems to conspire against them by putting them into a situation where they spend more and more time together. Add in Brian's nosy, buttinsky, matchmaking family and these two end up together as they were meant to be.
This is the third book in this impressive series, and this is Tess and Brians’ story. Tess gave up on medical school to raise her younger brother, and she is now working as an assistant to the medical examiner. Brian is a special agency, self-proclaimed bachelor, until he crosses paths with Tess. When a storm damages Tess’s home, Brian offers his family’s beach house while repairs are being done. When Tess disappears, Brian will leave no stone unturned to find her. This is a well written slow burn, easy to read, action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, drama, danger, suspense, intrigue, tension, determination, chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, and unpredictable, addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Special agents don’t have room in their life for serious relationships. At least that’s what Brian Malone told himself right up to the moment he met Tess Bingham.
Tess has a good job as the medical examiner’s assistant. She wanted to become a doctor, but that changed with the death of her parents. Now she focuses on raising her teenage brother, Andy. A casual date now and then is all right, but never with a player like Brian Malone.
After a storm damages her home, Brian offers them his family’s beach home to stay in until it is repaired. He finds excuses to visit. Often. And, when criminals target them, Brian is ready to protect them with his own life, if necessary.
Danger, romance, suspense – exactly what I enjoy reading. I received an advance copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.
I received an advance review copy and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This is my own opinion and I am not influenced by anyone.
The last Malone brother finally gets what he swore he never wanted. Brian is a confirmed bachelor. Tess is a woman who turns his life upside down. She is also.raising her teenage brother Andy.
There is romance and suspense. I liked the way this book wrapped up the brother. Seeing a confirmed bachelor change his ways seemed to happen a little quick but it was satisfying none the less. The characters are well written and a great job was done with Andy. The world is well developed, you can picture it well.
Her Savior wraps up the Malone Brothers series. Reading in order is more enjoyable as the brothers and their girls appear in the books. It could be read alone though.
Brian is the last of the Malone brothers to find love and no one expected him to find that any time soon. Tess is a coworker in the ME's department and Brian has seen her many times. But something clicked when her house became unliveable while repairs were being done so he offered the Malone family's beach house as temporary shelter for her and her 17 year old brother, Andy. While Brian is fighting with his desire for Tess, Andy is fighting the pressure to do computer work for a gang member and not liking the fact that Brian is a cop. This was a good read with the right amount of tension, romance, steam, and a boy who wants to do the right thing and feels powerless until the adults in his life give him the tools and support needed to fly.
I was excited and waiting to read about Brian’s story in “Her Savior” by Samantha Cole and it did not disappoint. This Book 3 of the Malone Brothers series was great from the start and continued until the end. It was well-written but also was engaging and ever the page turner. Brian has been professional collogues with Tess for years. However, events lead to them being closer to one another and trying to figure where they stand/ Their journey to finding this answer is filled with conflict, twists & turns, suspense, family, found family, friends, life, & love. “Her Savior” is a read worthy addition to this small-town, suspenseful, romantic series and is highly recommended.

Finally, Sam Malone's story is finally released, and it does not disappoint! Tess is a very independent woman who gave up her dream of Medical School after her parents were killed and she needed to raise and be a guardian to her teenage brother. Other than some innocent flirtation, Sam and Tess have maintained a very professional relationship and then a tree crashes into her home and leaves it inhabitable. Sam decides on the spur of the moment to offer Tess his uncle's beach home for them to live in. That gesture sets Tess and Brian on a slow road from friendship towards a romantic one where they get their HEA which neither thought was in the cards for their life.

Tess and her teenage brother Andy have been through so much. Tess thinks she got it so easy taking care of Andy that when a massive storm damages their family home and so much of their late parents stuff, Tess is overwhelmed. When special agent Brian Malone finds out the predicament Tess and Andy are in, he thinks of a plan to help. Brian the last Malone who doesn’t do relationships, only wants to help a fellow. What happens when Andy gets involved with the wrong thing? Does Andy continue to go down that road? Does it affect his family and friends? This story is so good, I couldn’t put it down. Loved every minute of the book.
Brian is the last Malone brothers standing, single that is. He maintains love and forever aren't in his future, until he starts to develop sparks towards the sexy ME asst who works on some of his cases. Tess has put her life on hold to raise her teenage brother, love and future definitely not on her radar. Life has a way of changing your mind, they both realize that those sparks, while not what they were looking for, might be what they need. When Tess's computer pizza brother is tapped by a gang for his skills, its a race to save Tess and their HEA. As always Samantha knocks it out. A great read!
Tess has postponed her dream of becoming a doctor in order to raise her younger brother, Andy, after the death of her parents. Working in the ME's office, she has met with Detective Brian Malone, but they start out as nothing more than working acquaintances. That changes when Andy is targeted by a local gang. Tess is a strong character as she struggles to raise a young man, who is dealing with the typical teenage sullen attitude and anxiety. As the relationship between Tess and Brian changes, her life is endangered by Andy's bad choices. Amazing story that grips your interest as the danger builds.
Her Savior is book 3 and the final story in the Malone Brothers series. Brian has never wanted more than one night with any woman, but when Tess comes into his life, he slowly starts thinking about a forever. I love the slow build between Brian and Tess and how they navigate life and the path they've always followed while realizing there may be a different way to forever. Just the right amount of tension and danger, a little action, plenty of love, and a hard fought for and well earned HEA make this great conclusion to the series.

Her Savior is the 3rd and final book in the Malone Brothers series, but can easily be read as a standalone. Unlike the others, it's much more romance than suspense, with about 80% dedicated to the slowly growing feelings between Brian and Tess. When danger and suspense does arrive - and I could easily see it coming - it's short, but intense and full of edge-of-your-seat tension. Brian and Tess are great main characters and I loved how all the Malones pop up throughout their courtship. I received an early copy and am leaving this review voluntarily and honestly.
I read the first book in this series years ago. I had also purchased the audio books for the first two books in this series, therefore I went back and listened to them in preparation for this final book. All three were fantastic, but I enjoyed Her Savior the most! I loved Tess, Brian (and Andy`s) story. I loved the slow but necessary build. I especially loved the suspense toward the end of the book! My kind of story! Five Stars!!.

"Her Savior" is the 3rd book of the Malone Brothers series by Samantha Cole. The story has everything I expected from this author, danger, suspense, romance, and wonderful characters. There is great chemistry between Tess and Brian and it is great to see the other Malone brothers. The book pulled me right in and I didn't want to put it down. Samantha Cole is a must read author for me and I was not disappointed.

Book 3 of the Malone Brothers series. Can be read as a standalone.
'Because this isn’t just another case. It’s the woman who won his heart. And he’ll break every rule to bring her home.'
The characters were very complex and compelling and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Another great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!
Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!.

Brian and Tess, two people who were not looking for a relationship find just the thing they didn't know they needed. Both Tess and Brian lost their parents tragically. Brian and his brothers were raised by his Uncle. Tess put her life on hold to raise her brother. As these two come together and their lives are changed in many ways as they give in to their feelings. In addition to the love story there is a bit of drama brought on by her brother that pushes Brian, Tess and Andy to look at life in a different way.
Brian Malone swore he would never open his heart to a woman, and prided himself on being a bachelor. But it takes only one moment when Tess comes into his live to chance his life forever. But in true Samantha Cole fashion this is not a love story filled with hearts and flowers, it is built around murder, danger and mayhem. Loved the connection between not only Tess and Brian but between Andy and Brian as well. A great addition to a series that will become instant favorites.
Her Savior is book 3 in the Malone Brothers series and is Brian Malone and Tess Bingham's slow burn read. Brian is a Special Agent and the consummate bachelor who has no intention of settling down and then we have Tess. She is raising her teenage brother Andy and these two have had a pretty difficult time. Brian meets his match in Tess in more ways than one and together they make for an intriguing journey. Another win for the Malone Brothers!
I thoroughly enjoyed the Malone Brothers series and found this final book to be a perfect conclusion. The suspenseful story of Brian Malone and Tess Bingham was exceptionally well-written, featuring a compelling plot, palpable angst, and memorable characters. While the book works as a standalone, the family dynamics are best appreciated when read in order. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I liked seeing Brian and Tess navigate their changing feelings for each other and about what they did and didn't want. I empathised with Tess re her struggles with her brother and liked how Brian handled things because of who raised him. I also liked seeing the sibling interactions on both sides, the Malone family in full swing, learning about their jobs and trying to work out what was going to happen.

Tess and Brian are an amazing couple. Tess has such a promising future until she has to step in for her brother. Tess and Brian are such a beautiful couple. When Tess goes missing, Brian will move heaven and earth to hunt down those responsible. Truly a great story.
