Danger Deception Devotion: The Firsts (Saved #1) was a great read by Lorhainne Eckhart. This set consists of; The One, The Forgotten Child, The Deadline, Saved, and The Choice. The One (The Wilde Brothers #1) was a great read by Lorhainne Eckhart. Margaret Gordon was a prominent Seattle surgeon until the day that the slip of a knife leaves a young boy without a future. She is fired and then returns to her hometown, which is the perfect place to hide out from everyone. She never considered herself a horse person but she does understand them better than people. Now widowed Joe Wilde drives in one morning with his son and a horse with a problem. Joe convinces Margaret into working with the temperamental horse, and grows closer to his son Ryan. She quickly learns the horse's issues have more to do with the father and son. Ryan has anxiety over the fact that his father is dating a woman who is only interested in Joe and not his son. Ryan wants Margaret to be his mother and takes matters into his own hands. Sparks fly and sizzle between the two. Joe decides his son needs a mother and proposes to the wrong woman, which leads his son to take off with his backpack and the temperamental horse. Margaret saddles up her horse and heads off alone with Joe to find his son. The Forgotten Child (The Outsider #1) was a great read by Lorhainne Eckhart. Brad Friessen isn’t looking for love. Emily Nelson is a courageous young mother who strikes out on her own after a bitter marriage. She answers an ad for a cook and live in caregiver to a three year old boy on a local ranch. Brad is the owner of the ranch and moves in Emily and her daughter. Emily quickly realizes that something is wrong with the young boy and Brad doesn’t see the behavior or how delayed his son is. Emily does some research and finds out that he is showing signs of autism. Brad and Emily can’t avoid the attraction and connection they have. Unfortunately Brad’s estranged wife Crystal, returns after she abandoned her son. It seems as though Crystal knows too much about his personal and working business. Crystal unfortunately drives a wedge between Brad and Emily. Crystal ruins the progress the three year old makes and his care and therapy.The Deadline (The Friessens: A New Beginning #1) was a great read by Lorhainne Eckhart. His mother has threatened their safety. Unfortunately, there is a new threat that they never saw coming. Gabriel winds up sick and isn’t getting better,and the doctor doesn’t have good news for them. Gabriel needs a lifesaving transplant or else he will not survive. Andy tracks down the man who feathered Gabriel and Laura’s estranged parents, which leads to even more problems they must face. Saved (Saved #1) was a great read by Lorhainne Eckhart. Abby is a survivor of a yearlong human trafficking ordeal that escapes and is saved at sea by Captain Eric Hamilton and those aboard the USS Larson on the Arabian Gulf. Eric protected her and her daughter and kept them safe. The Choice (Walk the Right Road #1) was a great read by Lorhainne Eckhart. Marcie is in love with Dan who has been promising his love but using her at the same time. She would do anything for him. She has a freak accident and loses her memory. That's when she met DEA Agent Sam Carre. Sam knows immediately that he has to help her. He's haunted by a pats that gives him no peace. He's questioning what she's really involved in. I loved reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.
