Felt as if this book was written by someone in high school. It wasn't very cohesive and it was incredibly hard to follow along in the sense that it contained useless character facts. The two main characters used the word "like" in s entrances way too much for me. Also there never really seemed as if there was much of an emotional connection between the female lead and either one of the male leads. Could have been better.

OK where do I start with this book you have Keith Tony and Kim Is being hunted by her ex smiley when her parents decided to try and break them up he decided to kill her parents and then rape her next to their bodies she manages to escape and move to a small town where she meets Keith and Tony only months after the rape she starts to fall for Tony then she starts to fall for Keith this book really got me mad at some point I mean she was traumatized but she was still able to sleep with Tony and Keith only months after it happened through The whole book she was trying to escape her ex and Tony and Keith Where trying to make her choose them instead of the other they were many times I wanted to put the book down it was a great story but the execution sucked they were many times I felt like the story was written by a highschooler The only thing that made me happy was have her ex disappeared it made me mad at the lack of compassion person who killed him held I don't really want to ruin the book but when a dying man asks for water and you just urinate on him instead that shows lack of compassion it would've been better if he just gave me something to drink because he was going to die anyway then the ending it made me sad I know this isn't a series book so there isnt going to be a part two so the person she doesn't choose to be her mate ends up being lonely I felt so bad for him and to be offered sloppy seconds was like a dig to me I mean how bad can you be to know your mating your best friends dream girl then offered to let him sleep with her when he's out of town especially when he looks so pained during the ceremony I can only say I am glad to be done with this book it was a wonderful story with many flaws I will give you an example Kim gets pregnant doesn't know who the father is Betty tells her rusty can use his shaman powers to find out but she wants to wait till after other ceremonies because it takes rusty over a week to rest from it cause it wears him out then the next day tony tells her rusty wants to talk to her and she's all surprised he can do it and supposedly knowing it takes a lot out of him wants it done within 2 to 3 days just ignore Betty and drain an old man it's ok it was flaws like that, that made me want to just stop and say done! But I kept telling myself it would work out I mean I even begged for her to be pregnant with twins one for each but noooooooo ok I'm done if you like it you like it she's a great author who just needs a little polish and will give her other books a chance you should too don't judge an author based on one book and with that said enjoy!

Not thrilled

Cannot say I liked the going back and forth between men when you have to pick one. It just felt tacky and no one seemed really in love at the end.

Entertaining and riveting
This is a story about a young woman named Kim whose ex killed her parents and raped her right in front of the dead bodies. She escapes and moves to a small Cree band lands in hope’s to never be found by her Ex that hasn’t been found. There are two very hot and hunky men who both want her but there’s something different in the Band compared to where she use to live. But the ex hasn't given up and it gets a little hectic for all around. Well written and very enjoyable self-contained story with a HEA.

Mating Season:A BBW SHIFTER ROMANCE by Jade White

Incredible storyline of surviving terrible traumatic situations, finding strength with the help of a special shifter community whose roots are surprisingly closer to Kim than she knew, twists and turns in sorting through relationship between two different yet amazing males/mates. Plenty of steamy scenes, drama and build-up to get their HEA. I'm recommending that you check it out for yourself. It's a emotional rollercoaster ride to the end.

The story itself was pretty good. I wasn't a big fan of the dialogue. For shifters isolated deep in the Rockies they talked similar to teenage girls. Even the elders and the men. Keith seemed like a shy, teenage geek and Tony was a man slut so neither seemed like the catch of the century. My biggest issue is the formatting. There would be two speakers in the same paragraph and there would be pov changes randomly during the same scene.

It started out okay. The story kept making turns so you weren't exactly sure what it was even about. The characters didn't seem to have set characteristics. They changed so often you didn't know if they were the bad or good guys. I have read her stories before and have liked them this wasn't a well written one.

Loved this one. Of course, given that my husband is Cherokee, I always love it when shifters are Native Americans. I was thrown a bit by the description of Kim being a "BBW". Loved the story even so.

Love the story. Blending in the facts on how Native Americans were and still are treated was extra special. My great-great grandfather was taken from his family and adopted out to a white family. Above all this is a story of love, choice, and living the life you should. Must read!!

Hi

This book was pretty good. Definitely kept you waiting to see what happened next. Only thing I didn't like was the usage of Like. These are supposed to be Indians living in a isolated area of the woods so why are the speaking like valley girls?

Good story

This is a very well-written story with a lot of emotion and anxiety. The things I'm goes through are many and she keeps herself together through it all. I would recommend this to anyone who likes books about shifters.

I got this book free from Kindle Unlimited.
I enjoyed the plot which was different from your usual Alpha staking his claim.
I would have given it 4 stars but the author's obsession with Kim's 'perky' breasts ruined every love scene.

Don't care much for her writing style. I read better storylines in the 7th grade. The book isn't very long, but, I had a hard time getting interested enough to read a whole chapter at one time. Believe me two stars is generous.
