Keeper of Stars is an intense, emotional finale - the kind of last book that makes you sit there thinking what the hell just happened before you can even turn the page.

You go in expecting answers, but Krista Street throws a massive curveball right out of the gate. A huge change hits Prim, and honestly? It’s jarring. It feels too permanent, too heavy, and for a moment it’s like the Prim you’ve grown to love has slipped away. It almost breaks your heart because she just isn’t the same, dimmed, altered, not the fierce, bright heroine you’ve followed since book one.

But thankfully, the story doesn’t leave you in that devastation. Things work out the way they should, and the relief when Prim comes back into herself is enormous. It feels earned, like she had to walk through fire to reclaim who she is.

The whole book is edge‑of‑your‑seat reading, twists, danger, revelations, and emotional punches that land hard. It’s a finale that takes risks, shakes the foundation of the world, and still manages to bring everything home in a way that feels right.

I have loved every one of Krista's books but this one just didn't meet the mark for me. I enjoyed the first installment, the second I found a bit slow and this final installment I just found lacking. I really struggled to get into it at the beginning, but then the plot line definitely picked up in the middle of the book, the ending was just a bit weak.
The first 2 books were focused on building the plot about the villain and his worldwide domination plans that he had been working on for centuries, and it was a bit anticlimactic when this was resolved in basically one chapter. I definitely think this could have been fleshed out more.
I think another issue was that it was all told from Prim's POV and it would have been nice to have chapters from Kole's POV. Kole is an expert at a poker face,and it would have been nice to experience exactly what he was thinking and feeling throughout, and I think without his POV he remained very 2 dimensional.

I really wanted to enjoy this book and usually I would devour it in one day but I found myself being distracted by other things and not as eager as I would be normally to pick up and read.
I think this book is nearer a 2 star read for me but I've given it 3 stars because I did really enjoy the first installment. I also think Krista did a good job of writing Prim's changed character in this book and it was a nice treat to see some faces and places from previous series make guest appearances.

Quick read

I have read a few series from this author. I like how they link characters from other books. I wasn't sure I wanted to read this 1, the uncle was a cruel creature & I thought it would drag. Luckily it didn't but there were a lot of twists when I thought it would be plain sailing, they had to find another god and I thought oh no here we go again. I don't feel depth with these characters for some reason. Maybe I preferred Kole in book 1. I liked meeting the vampire, Nicholas again. I didn't think this book was as good as the supernatural institute one.

3.75 stars. I was really unhappy with the “condition” placed upon the FMC by the enemy. It thankfully had its HEA but I sped read through most of the book bc I didn’t want to read the new route the plot took.

All in all, a simple, fun-ish, spicy story. Not worth a reread for me. Good enough to have finished.

What a whirlwind of a book! This series kept the intense plot pace and this book brought the arc! 15% in I was devastated and unhinged to be frank. Just when we got somewhere with the FMC and MMC, we took a big hit by the villain and I almost lost hope but despite all the obstacles and treachery, our loyal and god bless him patient and extremely perceptive MMC was steadfast in his devotion. Book boyfriend perfection right there! The action was non-stop and a real nail biter but the ending, as quick as it came made it all worth it. While I felt a little put out by the quick time jump at the end it left me feeling satisfied enough except for one loose thread in the plot that I was annoyed about; however, there is a bonus chapter… really a very mini chapter that is available and tied that up enough but I really think we could have got a new book out of that discovery alone as a little spinoff with the whole other revelation about our FMC’s heritage.

The only reason this did not get five stars is because I felt like there was so much going on in the plot and with all the action that I feel like we did not get real emotional depth with our characters with regard to their relationship. There was just too much external forces and events pulling at them for us to see their relationship grow on an emotional level. I really wish we could have had more of that and I think not having Cole’s POV was part of the reason the emotional connection was missing.

Overall, it was a great read and series, as is expected from this author.

5⭐️ !!!! I absolutely could not put this book down, and I’m so happy about it. It started off with such a different vibe from the first two books in the series which is so unusual for this author, but it kept me so captivated. I needed to know how things were going to get resolved because it felt nearly impossible. I was having so many emotions while reading for the first time in a long time. I was so upset at what was happening to Primelle that I just couldn’t stop until the book was finished. The plot took such a turn that I did not see coming at all, but I was obsessed with it.

Overall the conclusion actually felt like very high stakes, I figured it had to have a happy ending, but at one point i felt like that was impossible. It kept me very engaged, and I was pretty shocked at the information we found out at the very end. I do wish it would’ve dove into that aspect a little bit more because I need to know more!! It almost felt a bit cliffhanger-ish, and usually this author doesn’t add to a series once she says it’s completed. There is a bonus chapter, so I’m hoping that maybe we will get a little more info in that, but we shall see. I really did love this whole series, and I’m hoping it’s exactly what I needed to finally get fully back into reading again!!

The Lovely: The FMC has been through so much over the course of the series and seeing her strength tested in this final book made me love her even more. The bond between the MCs remained the emotional heart of the story, leading to some tragically beautiful moments between the two. I was so anxious for how this would end I couldn’t stop reading.

Recommendation: If this author writes it, I know I’ll love it, and this trilogy is no exception. We get that emotional payoff I crave and the ending had me smiling. If you’re in the mood for a FMC focused romance with high stakes and forbidden love. I think you would love this trilogy.

Keeper of Stars is the third and final book in the ‘Fae of Legends & Lore’ series by Krista Street and holy moly she did not come to play with this read!!!

The first 50% (and the last 50% too let’s be real) of this book had me stressing. I swear Krista did not let my girl Primelle have a break!!! Some scenes were so emotional, and intense that I felt them down to my tips of my fingers.

Primelle and Kole’s chemistry was off the charts in this book, the affection that they hold for each other somehow broke my heart and fixed it all at the same time.

This whole series absolutely drew me in, and I’m obsessed with how Krista concluded it. If you enjoy an action-packed, emotional, and shocking fantasy series then you’ll absolutely love this one!!!

Devoured this book (and series honestly) immediately after book 2. I did skim parts of her uncle and the deception and chaos he was causing because I wanted to get to the good part 😂 aka the resolution of it all.

I was not prepared for all the twists and turns but was more than happy with the happy ending. Kole & Prim definitely went on a ride in this last book. Kole pulled some excellent book boyfriend moves knowing something was going on and figuring it out then fixing it 🥰

The only thing that bugged me was her parents being so adamant that she couldn’t marry Kole/ someone unsuitable. I feel like this isn’t consistent with Krista’s other books and what a BIG deal fated mates are (and the mate bond)?
Like what do you mean you can be together now but once you’re 100, you need to leave your fated & bonded mate… to marry someone else?
After literally giving them a 2 month vacation because they bonded and get to spend time together? It was just weird.

What a way to end this series! There’s so much action, betrayal, drama, twists and turns that you’ll be breathless on the edge of your seat the entire time! And if that’s not enough Kole and Prims slow burn romance really turns up the heat in this finale, the swoon, the spice, the clear unending and unconditional love make this romance just spark right off the page! If you’re looking for a series that will keep you on your toes, guessing at what’s going to happen next, gasping at betrayals, and swooning during some of the most romantic moments, crying in despair along with these amazing characters all leading up to a beautiful happily ever after then I highly recommend grabbing a copy of Keeper of the Stars today and adding the entire Fae of Legends & Lore series to your TBR!

Read the bonus!

This story starts with a darker turn, for sure. It's pretty dire for Prim for a bit, but shes determined to keep searching for positives. The solutions come to a pretty dramatic resolution that is fun to read. Kole is a pretty remarkable mmc. There was something that wasn't reaaaallly resolved, although it was addressed satisfactorily, that is addressed again in the bonus chapter!! That chapter made me exceedingly happy!! Overall, this series was a lot of fun to read, was over much too quickly for my brain, and ive already started a series reread!

I love that, if you've read other series in the Supernatural World, that characters and locations have crossover in this story!! The others are required to know anything thats happening now, but I love the little Easter eggs. If you haven't read them, you really should. They're all so much fun.

As I’m sure most readers are, I was sad this series was coming to an end, but I knew ahead of time this was going to be a trilogy. I’m going to miss Primelle and Kole, but I loved this series-ender. We get good closer, and a lot of action to come to a good conclusion. I felt so bad for Prim in this. She has to do things she doesn’t want to (no spoilers), and she was so sad about it, which isn’t her personality. However, she was very happy at the end. Speaking of the end, I’m left with a question which I don’t want to share because again, no spoilers. LOL! Great ending to a wonderful and well-written series. Highly recommend. Krista Streets’ books feel like a warm, cozy hug, and I always love diving into her supernatural worlds. Her latest series, Fae of Legends and Lore, is a captivating trilogy that follows Primelle on a quest to find the legendary wishing stone and save her uncle, who has contracted a mysterious disease.

The wishing stone appears only once every millennium, and whoever finds it is granted a single wish. Determined to save her uncle, Primelle sets out on a dangerous journey to claim it. Along the way, she meets Kole, a mysterious guard she feels inexplicably drawn to.

As her adventure unfolds, Primelle discovers that the people she trusts most have been hiding secrets from her—secrets tied to her powerful magic and the danger surrounding her life. With each revelation, she is forced to navigate a world far different from the one she thought she knew. Through it all, Kole remains steadfastly by her side.

I absolutely loved this series and devoured all three books. In fact, I read the second book in a single day because I couldn’t put it down. The pacing is excellent, the story is engaging, and each chapter left me eager to keep turning the pages.

Whew. I experienced visceral anxiety while reading the first half of this one. I wasn't sure I was going to continue, because the hopelessness and helplessness she experienced was incredibly hard for me to read. And she felt so incredibly alone. My heart broke for her multiple times. I know it makes for a good villain when they're strong (though his motivations were meh), but in cases like this, I struggle to keep reading. However, the fact that Kole figured it out around the 50% mark definitely helped. I also appreciated the intense feelings of being compelled, as well as how she railed against being turned. I felt her impotent rage as though it were mine.

Another amazing series

Krista Street has created an amazing collection of books based around the supernatural world she has created, Fae of Legends & Lore has not disappointed. Over the last few months I have devoured all of the publications and have loved every word written. Krista has a very easy approach connecting to the reader, and the description of her world is Pratchett level. I can see these books in film in the coming years. Can't wait for more in this and the other realms.

3.5 I rage read basically the first 50% of this book - and what Kole finally realized at that mark should have happened more at like 25%. The first half was just too repetitive and drawn out and I hated it lol but luckily the book somewhat redeemed itself with the ending. I’m just mad this trilogy didn’t end on a high note like her other ones I’ve read but I still would recommend the series as a whole, especially if you like this world that she’s made with all these characters as we get a few crossovers

This one goes haywire fast. SPOILERS

All powerful, nothing works to subdue her magic and then suddenly someone can take it all and make her a puppet & a vampire? Feeding off her mate? That was gross.

Then she goes through all that, saves the kingdom and then she still feells she needs her parents permission to marry who she wants? And then he goes off to continue to work for a system that totally controlled him and punished him?

Should probably have gone with 1 star. I really liked the Woodlands series so I'll just say this one was off and move on to the next series.

I normally devour Krista’s fae series, but this one went in kind of a crazy direction I wasn’t expecting, and it was not for me. I really enjoyed the first book in the series, and the second book was pretty good, too. It felt like this one sort of went off the rails, which may have been the intention to keep the readers on our toes.

Even though this continuation of the story wasn’t for me, Krista Street is still an excellent author, and I plan to read more of her work.

I loved the whole stories of the three books. It made me laugh, sad at times but over all it made me happy. I would recommend it to anyone who likes these books. Great series

I love this type of book, with the fae and fated mates and such. It was super refreshing to read a series where the girl wasn't captured, and fell in love with her captor, then finding out they were actually fated mates. That story line is so over used. I was happy to see this series, the relationship started organically.

This is probably my favorite series by Krista Street. Definitely a trilogy I would read more than once. I love how some of the characters were intertwined with characters from her other series. Would give it 6 stars if I could.
