So I actually really liked this book! I thought it had a great idea behind it, but for me lacked depth.
Although it was written beautifully and very poetically, it was very short, which made it feel like you didn’t really get to know the characters too well. The over all concept of the story was amazing!! The eerie feeling, the complicated relationships between the characters, the twists and turns that took place and the ending kept me gripped, I just wish I would have seen a bit more character development and relationship building.
My actual rating would have been closer to a 3.5 than a 3! Very well done Chloe on your first short novel, I’m very excited to read what else you put out there!

Love the plot of this story and a cliffhanger ending. The setting to me that I love Victorian an old mansion with dark corners and secrets hidden among them. Looking forward to the next one
