Now That Was A Ride!!

I haven’t had a moment in a book in a while that literally took me through it just picturing the scene so played out and detailed. All because of an innocent encounter. Your car breaks down, you’re at a mechanic but don’t sit there. Hmm, the barber shop looks good. And hey that barber does too. The barber says, hey she’s fine. You’re in a questionable part of town but in no danger. Your father is a control freak law enforcement officer and he immediately disapproves of this innocent encounter. And being as though he’s placed himself on a pedestal, he feels is untouchable, until he wasn’t, he’s put things in motion to rid you of this young man he feels is undeserving of you. He’s disguises it as protection. He goes so far as to unalive people and make him the suspect using departmental resources. What he didn’t plan on was his resilient, smart, determined daughter putting boots to the ground and revealing way more than your deceitful actions prior to. What a tangled web you weaved for yourself as Zurielle proves Jvaughn’s innocence. The suspense was all here and this book was very good. Great first by Author Hydiea!

Great Read!

I was hooked from the beginning, I loved the story and my girl Zurielle is thee 💩! I’m glad she chose the side she did because that 🥷🏽 KNEW he was full of it. All he had to do was leave them be and he would’ve been alright, but at the same time I’m happy Z found out the truth about who he was and what he had been on. Zurielle said that’s my man and ima stick beside him and that she did!

must read!!!

This book was gas no breaks!! The father is undeniably the worst father I have ever read about. Detective marcus jones is a decorated officer. He gets his way no matter what. So when his daughter falls for “a bad boy” he can’t take it, and spirals out. I truly enjoyed the fight between father and daughter. Mind you the daughter is 22 and in law school!! She was not backing down for NOBODY! Trust me this is a 1000/10 read!!

Lies deception and control reveals

This book was different from my normal reads but I was truly invested I love how hard she went for jvaugh to expose the truth Secrets are revealed and sometimes the ppl you think you know best turns out to be someone you never knew at all this was my first read by this author but definitely won’t be my last

Whew!!

When I say heavy!!! I mean heavy!!! Marcus is the definition of control freak!!! It was hard reading about him I wanted to fight him!! This book was sooo good!! Jaquaven did not deserve any of what happened to him!! Zureille was a real one she was just dealt on horrible father!

This was my first read by this author and definitely not what I was expecting but in a good way. I enjoyed the story and the suspense kept me engaged and wanting to know what was going to happen next. I finished within one day.

This man was crazy !!!

This was my first read by this author and I really enjoyed this story. It’s about a dad went way to far to protect his daughter from people he thought was no good for her. I hated her dad for his actions. I sure hope Zee and Jay live happily ever after.
